sweeeeet cards, I think electrolyze's cost is 1UR and not 1BR.
this angel is hot! and by hot I mean, you get a 5/5 flyer for 2WB and a build in vindicate for the 1WB, I love it

So it IS an Angel of Despair...OK. A Vindicate on feet .

The rest looks also good

Thanks for reporting!

Electrolyze- You mean 1UR, right? Otherwise pretty good.

Shattering Spree- This will wreck affinity and other decks heavily dependent upon artifacts. Perhaps one of the best artifact removal spells ever.

Angel of Despair- Pretty good and probably playable if W/B control becomes prominent. I don't think it tops Kokusho but it will probably get the slot over Yosei.

Shattering Spree is awfully cheap. Wow.

For Electrolyze, I'm guessing you mean 1UR? There won't be any B/R gold cards in the set. At 1UR, that's a great uncommon.

Well, Angel of Despair's nuts, obviously.

Anybody have scans?

EDIT: Hey, glad we're all on the ball with this 1UR thing.

i like shattering spree, it loses alittle by being a sorcery, but for the cost of shatter i can pop 2 artifacts, very interesting card, the burd/draw card is nice, and a big angel is always nice

Are these confirmed? Shattering Spree looks... absurd? I would have expected neither replicate nor artifact destruction to be that strongly pushed.

shattering and spree both appear once in the orb. electrolyze appears twice, once for the name of the card and once for the rules text. I assume that the cost is 1UR (B indicated black, just so you know. U indicates blue.)

the only really wonky terms would be divided which appears twice, and "and/or" which appears once.

Angel of despair as a card name had been found earlier, but the actual rules text was unknown. There are 2 5/5 references in the orb. It should be noted that all 3 references of "angel" that appear in the orb are on this card. Which means there are no other angels in the set. Also, there are 2 references to despair which both appear here.

Finally, this means that the council, which costs WWBB is most likely our big legend. Yay for cheap legends.

Great Cards, im soooo hoping to crack that angel at the prerelease, nothing will make my opponents go more crazy than me slapping down that wonderful piece of art and destroying their permanents.

Shattering Spree does seem like its it pushing the power level: I like it

To bad the: "lightning bolt, draw a card" missed out, but this is so great too

Here's for hoping the Angel is the Prerelease foil!

I'm not sure I'm as thrilled with the Angel as I was before... it's nice, though... Hm.

Essentially, we get Vindicate for the same cost of 1WB. And we get a 5/5 flying Angel for 2WB. ...I guess it's not so bad.

Well, its not that overpowered. It gives monored decks another answer to Affinity (go go goblins!) in extended, but artifacts aren't too widespread in t2 right now. "Uh... I'll shattering spree your jitte, replicating three times, targeting um... your jitte 3 more times?" However, it provides a great answer against decks like no-stick and my Isochron/Vedalken Shackles/Ivory Tower/Massive counterspells blue control.

As for the Fire/Ice combo, it woulda been really sweet to see this at UR, but this is still solid and will see definite play in many formats (at least t2 and block, probably extended, maybe legacy).

The angel of despair is cool, not too overpowered, but makes me want to make a casual B/W Slide deck.

Electrolyze is the best uncommon out of the "power" uncommons so far. 3 for 1's rock hard core. This might be better than Fire // Ice or at least in the same sentence. I can't wait to draft this card! Umm... the other cards are nice too.

Shattering Spree - good artifact removal even if it didnt have replicate. Me likey.

Electrolyze - It's the spawn child of Fire/Ice. Again, Me likey.

Angel of Despair - I'm not so sure on if it will hit big in standard but this is a beast in limited. Me likey :grin2:

Definite bombs !

The replicate shatter is really good. Not strictly better than shatter because it's a sorcery... but it can be waaaaaay better in terms of card advantage.

Electrolyse is a bigger and better version of fire, but without ice tapping possibilities sticked on it !

The angel is simply vindicate sutck on an angel... not cheap but surely powerfull CIP effet (Otherworldly Journey and Voyager Staff become much nicer...)
