When I tested this deck in MWS, it's not so difficult for use. I want to use some of WUBRG color, so I added Maelstrom Nexus and Legacy Weapon. and there are plenty of CIP creatures, so I added Venser. (Venser + Eternal Witness, Venser + Reveillark and so on!)
hey have you ever tried Earnest Fellowship? I suggested it to my friend for his EDH deck with Notions. And its pretty beastly (and difficult to get rid of) when its in play. Food for thought~
I've found Maelstrom Nexus to work out very well in my elemental tribal deck.
I've also found that Doomgape works out well because Horde of Notions can recur your elementals. Works even better with the CITP elementals.
Removed: Thornling (Not so powerful in this deck) Masticore (Just tutoring Survival of the Fittest or Fauna Shaman) Briarhorn (Not so good combat trick) Engineered Explosives (I think not so good for this deck) Mortify (Found alternative way to denial creatures or destroy enchantment) Earnest Fellowship (Not enough card space)
If you run a phyrexian altar and avenger of zendikar, you can make infinite mana for infinite CITP effects from your evokers by using the Horde's Ability. Essentialy you could wipe EVERY single land off the board with fault grinder, or draw your deck with mulldrifter.
Depending on the situation, Slithermuse can be very efficient card draw, usually netting you at least two cards.
With the number of CIP creatures you run, Crystal Shard is a must-have.
Also, this seems kinda random, but would Batwing Brume help you against anything? It really depends on whether you face up with token/swarm decks often.
Added: Nova Chaser (It is also an elemental, can be a good attacker, Champion an elemental ability is good to use CIP effects of other elementals. Too bad it doesn't have haste, but it's OK to use CIP effect again)
I just got a copy of Mayael's Aria that I'll be trying out in my elemental tribal deck. With imediate effects if Horde of Notions is on the table, it shoul only get better if I have my Nova Chaser, Doomgape, or Supreme Exemplar out as well.
Guess I'll see how it goes...
Do you really think that chucking a bunch of elementals into your deck is going to make it effective? Personally having played Horde as my first deck and subsequently for about 2 1/2 years, I think that his ability is just too slow. first you have to get creatures into your grave and then pay 5 to get them into play. It just doesn't compete against the raw power of other 5cc generals (I'm talking Sliver Overlord, Reaper King and Big Baby), although he is closer in power to Scion of the Ur-dragon.
As proof I dare you put Sliver Overlord in his shoes and replace every elemental with a sliver, your deck will be many times more powerful.
Ok so maybe you just like Horde and don't want to play slivers etc. All i'm saying is don't just chuck a random collection of so-so elementals at the deck (there are only about 20 good ones anyway).
Do something creative, build a deck that speaks awesome to everyone
Ok. Thanks. I think Horde of Notions has powerful ability(can attack itself, and good recursion ability) So I made deck with him.
I'll put more ramp skills in this deck but I don't know what's really not needed in here. and changed 1 forest to Exotic Orchard. I think Forbidden Orchard is risky card.
Ok. thanks. I removed some of non-elementals, instead, I added some new elementals.
Removed: Genju of the Realm (Less priority because this deck is elemental and this spell just WUBRG) Plumeveil (It's just a wall) Acidic Slime (Find and reanimate harder than elementals)
Deck error fixed. Removed one of duplicated Spawnwrithe and also removed Vengevine since not so useful. Instead, I added Mimic Vat because of using CIP abilities of my elementals.

Also, I replaced Spoils of Victory to Farseek because of lower mana cost and rarity of P3K cards.

on a good note, I like your manabase, shiny... although I dont see Exotic orchard or Forbidden orchard. There is not enough ramp in this deck -->Kodama's reach, Cultivate, Explosive vegetation, Journey of discovery and most definitely Fertalid.
one more note... Where is Spawnwrithe!? He owns the game all by himself. "Multiply my pretties... MULTIPLY!"

I agree. If you like it and want to use it as a general, go for it. Elemental tribal sounds like fun to me.
I agree that you should be using Fertilid and probably Spawnwrithe. Skyshroud Claim is awesome because you can use it to fetch dual lands.
I think I like Wonder better than Brawn.
