I really love this guy. Has a lot of Johnny potential, let's me work with lots of artifacts, can have a lot of small artifice-related themes, and is Red, so I don't have the issue of all my good blue cards being in another deck.
I already have some cards to cut in mind, once a replacement is found, but I'd like to hear your thoughts. I have yet to do a Gatherer search for charge counters, but any ideas you have throw them up!
EDIT 1: Added Mana-Base. Somehow missed it.
EDIT 2: Added cards to the list to fill up more spots. There should still be 3-4 open slots, however.
EDIT 3: Added Galvanic Blast and Shrapnel Blast. Would like to steer away from more "sac. an artifact" effects from now on though.
Oh, and I learned to not mess with the decklist. It's doing that dumb formatting again.
Edit, a few months later...
Took out some stuff, added some. Just updating it a little before I post it in the Database. If you have any meaningful suggestions, please post, just make sure it's constructive and I'll respond.
Garbage for constructed, costs way too much mana and can't even deal with walkers.
To sum it up. Creature removal doesn't take care of Plainswalkers...how am I to respond to a statment like that? It's like somebody saying division symbols suck at simple addition.
With a quick look over of the list and minimal research here is a few card suggestions I found. I will hopefully get time to look over it more intently and give more suggestions at a later time. But for now I would suggest
Arcbound Reclaimer - I use him in a decent amount of my EDH decks because he can recur two artifacts and you dont have to do them both at the same time if you dont have two artifacts to recur. Golem Artisan - I figured that flavor-wise this could be like Slobad's Assistant and as a card in the deck it could really help with buffing up one of your artifact creatures for a game winner.
Also I would suggest trying to find some sort of card draw. I will try to look into this later to give more specific suggestions but just off the top of my head you could use Howling Mine as a place to get the metal for your golems
EDIT: I saw that you were using Voltaic Key in here but I didnt see Voltaic Construct Which is able to do the same thing but multiple times in a turn.

Arcbound Reclaimer will have to go in, once I obtain one. Can't believe I missed that.
I like how you tied in flavor with the suggestion of Howling Mine. It crossed my mind, but I was just wondering: Do you think it is safe to give my opponents more cards as well, especially since I don't have many reactionary cards? That's why I ended up trashing the idea. Give me your thoughts.
Voltaic Construct will make a nice addition as well, though Golem Artisan seems a little expensive, and while I do have a small Golem presence in my list, I don't really want to expand that way too much for iffy cards. Golem's Heart is a good possibility to give me some more life.
I understand your concerns with adding in Howling Mine and other card draw of that nature. I originally took this deck more of casual fun rather then competitive. That being the case usually in casual the person that is helping each person get more cards to deal with the threats other people are dropping usually isnt the guy to get clubbed first. So as with any card there is pros and cons to it. I look at it this way.....if you need card draw and dont want to add wheels becuase they have no flavor then add in the mine. If you dont mind being a little more slow rolling to get going then dont worry about it that much.
Side Note: I am overjoyed to see someone else from the clan post in these threads because EDH is by far my favorite format and I was overjoyed when I saw that you had posted a list. Just thought you should know that.

Howling Mine will most likely go in. When I get home I'll edit it in and such.
I generally avoid posting my decks online. They all tend to be kind of casual and sometimes don't even have a reliable win condition, and tend to get torn up in here. This at least HAS infinite combos, I just didn't build it around them.
Just added to my cart on SCG a bunch of stuff I needed, so I'll be able to actually have the cards "for reals" in a few days. After I am able to have everything in front of me, I'll have a much better idea where I want this to go. It's just easier for me to be able to notice synergies, little combos, "feel the flavor", and all that when I have the actual card in my hands.

Forgot about Goblin Welder. Definitely will have to get ahold of one.
I lmao over that...I'm still laughing from it.
Rogue players for the win!
Then it served its purpose.
I edited in a few cards I mentioned I wanted. I don't actually have them yet, but it's better than just having a big "10x Something Else."
Some other flavorful cards that represent parts Slobad hadn't put to use yet:
Golem's Heart
Ur-Golem's Eye
Also I would suggest trying to find some sort of card draw. I will try to look into this later to give more specific suggestions but just off the top of my head you could use Howling Mine as a place to get the metal for your golems

Side Note: the opening line made me chuckle.
