Heyo! Per request by PM, this is my morph deck. This one is a lot of fun to play, but it's not that great; perhaps you will have ideas or get some ideas of your own. Seems budget friendly. Goals are first, then the list, then evolution of the deck, then lastly, Tips and Tricks below.
Goals:
- Fell in love with Ixidron at first sight. He works well with morph critters of course and hoses a bunch of casual creature based decks / strategies.
- If we are going to "build around it" for Ixy, let's do something with what he does - make things 2/2. Let's combo up with Pyroclasm and Luminthread Field, which should win you the game typically.
- Morphs are stupid expensive. Let's cheat out with blink and supplement with mana accell / cost reducers.
- Generally, let's try a variety of morph critters that offer surprise value and that less 4x of morphs mean opponents forget what they could be.
Evolution:
- Ok, the morphs in here I'll admit was simply what I had laying around. You can vary these. Most of the ones I included have some surprise value, ie. big, do something when flipped up, or have fun abilities.
- If you want to focus on the combo more, work those to 4x.
- Momentary Blink is better here than Mist. I keep facing "eggs all in one basket" creature decks in my casual group, so Misting their critter when they pile crap on it helps me. Otherwise, up Blink to 4x. It blinks two of your creatures.
- Consistency of the helpers could be improved. Better mana accel / fixing, or more Chisels instead.
- Pyro and Ixy help deal with creatures, but you should include some way of dealing with problem artifacts or enchantments if need be. Oblivion Ring is the auto-suggest.
Tips 'N Tricks:
- If not obvious, Ixidron flips all other critters on the table over to ability-less 2/2. Field makes yours 2/3. Pyro deals 2 damage to all critters. You typically nuke all critters but yours and should win.
- If you can, wait to Blink until someone targets your critter foilling their plans, but Blinking your creature to bring it back as a surprise blocker is good too.
- Played Ixy and problem critters come out after? Blink Ixy himself to flip 'em all down again.
- Facing a horde of early creatures? If you gotta Pyro and skip out on the combo, so be it.
- The M10 rules change of "damage on stack" weakened some of the power of flipping Cavern and Field in combat, but using these to block and flip is still fun.
- Play Field face up if you need the bonus or it's time to combo.

Alrighty, comments / critiques / criticism all welcome.
Thanks for the list. I'll modify it to my liking. But so far I like the idea. I'm looking for a fun deck anyway. I just don't like your morph picks.
Also, I am going to experiment with Leyline of Anticipation here, because I think it's better to play your face down critters at instant speed. They all cost 2 or 3 sadly...

My playgroup: four people total.
We use the Legacy B&R list.
My meta consists of combo, control and some aggro / midrange decks.
My group uses proxies, so budget is not an issue. Because of this, things can get out of hand.
@ TheWarden:
- Bonethorn Valesk is high on the curve, comes with a weak body and its ability isn't great either.
- Soggy Pickles combo of Brine Elemental and Vesuvan Shapeshifter? The latter is a bomb anyways.

Each reality is but the dream of another, and each sleeper a god unknowing.
We define the boundaries of reality; they don't define us.
codename47: Yeah, I don't like them too much either, except for the fatties and Fortune Thief. What are you planning to use?
Blutsau: Aw, how could I forget those two? Man. Gonna have to work those in. The combo won't work often unless I get more than 1x each in, but if I rework my creatures it could be combo #2...
Valesk I haven't had much luck with, you are right there (there are enough x/1s in casual though) but I may swap them for the Runecasters since they are cheaper and draw is better than ping 1.

I have a question. If you use Ixidron with something like echoing decay would the whole board be wiped?

Combat_Strix: I love "junk rares!"
