I always thought Dark Suspicions would be okay in Seizan, best paired with Gibbering Descent. I burn through my hand pretty fast, though, and that's not so much how MBC works.
I like Seizan as General, allthough I've never made a succesfull deck with him.
To me it seems your opponent will draw an answer more quickly with the 2 additional cards, then the damage will kill them.
And discard always seemed a bit pointless, seeing how they would draw 3 per turn.
In that spirit, perhaps change the discard cards for something else?
Oblivion Stone and Steel Hellkite come to mind for additional enchantment hate. Allthough I'm not sure what else to add.
I like your advice Wumbo. It made a lot of sense to me, so I decided to remove a few cards and add some others. You can find them on the list below my deck list.
You could also run Megrim in addition to the caress, and add in Anvil of Bogardan and Chains of Mephistopheles. Your opponents will basically be guaranteed to discard every card they draw.

My apologies, children, for I am afraid I cannot save you all.
Memory Jar is a house in this deck! Whether just for hand advantage or damage, it has proved itself time and time again. I Memory Jar'd discarding an Underworld Dreams and Liliana's Caress. Next turn, played YawgWin, play UD and LC from the yard, then Memory Jar'd for the win.
Seizan does seem like a good EDH general. His ability is somewhat threatening, but not enough to draw a lot of hate, seeming as people are drawing cards, he has good stats and he's relatively inexspensive mana wise...
About the actual deck. 100 card singleton lists are really hard to get, but this deck looks pretty solid. I think you could definately run some fun, swingy creatures though... Wurmcoil Engine? Perhaps Grave Titan? The deck doesn't look to Plankton-y, but a good way to stay alive is Font of Mythos, which actually kinda goes with your general's theme... Temple bell can be there instead if you want something that can be "turned off"
I understand that. However, each combo piece is meant to work harmoniously with Seizan, and they do. Plus, with the draw power and library manipulation from not only Seizan but the other cards, it's usually not a problem.
So, I'm seeing Ill Gotten Gains showing up in a few decks. I'm wondering just how good this card is? I understand that the best feature of it is that its a triple regrowth, the opponent's ditching down is just icing on the cake, right?

I don't know what your budget looks like, but sphere effects such as Nether Void, Sphere of Resistance, Thorn of Amethyst, Lodestone Golem and Trinisphere will prevent your opponent from playing any of the spells in their hand so it can get owned by the aformentioned discard effects. Also things like Sundering Titan, Smokestack, Braids, Cabal Minion and Helldozer will kill their land preventing spells from being played as well.
Top it off with some global discard such as Bottomless Pit, Necrogen Mists and Cunning Lethemancer to get the most out of Megrim/Caress.
This is sort of moving the deck into a more combo deck rather than control but it's the only thing I could think of for Seizan. Good luck!
Good suggestions. I would actually run Chains regardless, since it keeps extra draw power at a minimum while still doing damage.
