This one was really tough, as they were all very good. Eventually it came down to either bigup or demonium for me, as those two just sort of hit my nerd side the best. At the end, I voted for demonium. I really like the artistic style of the piece, and would love to own that card if only I could afford it.

Nice to see this is going to be a close call once more. The entries from Bigup and Cardkitty are both pretty bad ass and it should be interesting to see who will take the trophy in the end.

Oh hai. I'm exploring other parts of mtgs today and thought I'd throw in my vote here. I gave a nod to cardkitty. Althoguh I generally hate anime/manga style illustration, I couldn't deny the techical and compositional skill there. I sort of hate that Jace is holding a Magic card, but other than that it's pretty amazing.

Kyrain's was a close second to me.

I thought demonium would make this all alone.
I think his card is the best from this months entries.

Cardkitty, I absolutely adore your Chandra (that pair would actually be awesome for this month's contest :P ), and the Beast token gets points for the humour. . . . but I have to say Demonium takes my vote this month. I really like how smooth it feels, and the colours are stunning.

. . . . though at a second glance, are they Poison Ivy and Clayface?

I vote for Demonium. Amazing colors and drawing (are the characters on it from a comic or a cartoon, or are they from magic or from your imagination?) I also had tought Demonium would be leading.

Could it be that there are many otakus here? (this doesn't means I don't apreciate the manga-style entries. I'm just wandering wich kind of public is the most in the art contests.)

Good luck to all! Hopefully I'll be participating in December's poll.

The characters are Poison Ivy and Clayface of the Batman comics in the DC Universe.

Honestly, I'm surprised that we're all geeks here, and the only one that got the reference other than myself seems to have been Immersa, and she's not even sure.

Oh, I was sure once I took that second look, and really focused on the characters and not the card as a whole.

The Geth alter wins my vote, I don't know why but I always love Black and White alters. It's something really differnt en close to real old skool comics.

Pretty stunned by that thraximundar. I've been doing some alters for friends, and it's very difficult. I'll mix up a ton of paint and go, "that's not the right color, but... can I get closer without wasting a lot of paint? Probably not"

But I'm going to give it to Demonium. With this many creative entries, I don't think I can vote for the one that's just a borderless thrax. (Although it is really, really good.)

Wow, that Geth is ridiculous. Demonium had a really nice entry, but holy crap I love that Geth.
