After seeing the light and realizing that instant win combos are lame, I decided to gut my Sharuum the Hegemon and Karthas, Tyrand of Jund to make Vorosh, the Hunter. I am pretty excited about this deck. I think I am going to love being able to pair the land acceleration and quality creatures in green with the awesome control elements of blue and black. That said, this is a big mana deck. In reality the plan is to cast Primeval Titan and go nuts with Cabal Coffers and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth. Let me know what you think!
This looks tight. Definitely needs Boseiju, Who Shelters All. I would also think about adding Genesis Wave, maybe as a replacement for Gelatinous Genesis, and with all that mana, Exsanguinate seems pretty solid. And Vesuvan Shapeshifter is way better than Clone, I don't care what anyone says. Nice work overall though, can't wait to play against it. It'll be interesting to see what the new BUG generals in the Commander set do.
Also some counters might be in order, depending on your style and metagame:
Hinder (for those anoying generals) Draining Whelk (2 for 1s are always good in commander) Mystic Snake Pact of Negation (this one and black one can catch someone with his pants down XD, green one might also proove usefull)
Again depending on your metagame boseju might be necesary.... but given the amount of colored mana this sort of deck needs you might not be able to aford too many colorless lands.
One more thing... this one is also a combo deck one in wich you take infinate turns and lock every one else out of the game, and experienced players will know this and will turn everyone against you (and probably your lands/graveyard) if they know what's good for them, i had a deck like this one... and actually droped the timewalk efects altogether... its not fun to play alone, at least not for me.
In regards to Gelatinous Genesis, I wanted a big mana X spell which immediately had a board impact. I suppose Exsanguinate does the same in a way because the life gain makes any board presence irrelevant for a turn or two. Also I don't think Genesis Wave would be any good seeing how most of my deck is instants and sorceries. Ill see how it plays tonight and make some decisions.
tenzoku - I am very concerned with making this a combo deck so I am hesitant to add Crystal Shard and Erratic Portal, though they seem good. They are probably better in Weresquirrel's Bant deck which features way more come into play effects on creatures. In regard to the creature land acceleration, I liked having sorcery based ones because they interact well with Mirari, Twincast, and Mnemonic Wall. A creature recursion package with the same effects probably is more effective. I really wish I could include red for Fork effects.
dukes - I think Voidslime is an auto include when I get my hands on the card. I've been waiting to play with that card for a while now.
