This deck is going to be for 1vs1, budget, casual, edh.
The primary theme I'm trying to incorperate is a 'deathtouch' wall of creatures, freezing my opponent from attacking and allow the Sisters of Stone Death to pick and choose which forces will join my side.
Secondary theme is to have my cards with 'creepy', but not 'grotesque' artwork, something worthy to be on the same side as the Sisters of Stone Death...very 'Vorthos' as Blackjack68 put it.
All my decks try to adhere to these guidelines:
1) Be able to win.
2) Be mostly true to a flavor and a theme.
3) Be good against one or multiple opponents.
5) Be fun to pilot or to play against and interactive.
6) Have multiple paths to victory.
7) Have lots of cool interactions and synergy.
8) Play out differently every game to keep it fun over a long time.
9) Be streamlined and fast to play without excessive upkeep, time-consuming play or overcomplicated boardstates.
10) Integrate the Commanders abilities into the strategy at least a little, but be able to win without ever playing the commander.
As a note, the number in front of the card will denote CMC of the creature/spell.
Also, as another note, our meta plays with 40 life totals and no general damage.
Any suggestions, comments, and questions are more than welcome! Especially in regards to the cuts I should make, since I'm starting off by listing cards that simply look good.
A fellow Vorthos! I've always loved the art on Sisters too.
If you're going to have quillspike in there, you might as well add Devoted Druid and Necrotic Ooze for the combos (and seperately for their mana ramp and activated ability abuse).

In addition to the 3 themes mentioned in my first post, I've also developed a theme for having some -1/-1 counters floating around. Are there any ideas in B and/or G to manipulate those counters around a bit? I'm hoping for something along the lines of Fate Transfer....just in the right colours.
I'm also in the market for cuts now. What's sub-par in this decklist? What doesn't quite fit? I could, as an example, take out the 7 zombie card synergy, but if I do, would the build suffer more than it would gain?
How important do people think the lifegain/lifeloss spells will be for this type of deckbuild? Should I cut the 5 of them?
I'm also leaning towards cutting Skirk Ridge Exhumer, Undead Warchief, and Gravedigger; but then what about Graveborn Muse? I'd really not want to cut her, but will she still be effective enough with only Cemetary Reaper and the two Changlings to work with? Granted there will also be Rise from the Grave and the Zombies Cemetary Reaper creates, but I feel like she might be cut too. Any thoughts?
Do I have too much deathtouch here? 9 creatures plus 3 artifacts and there is also Lace with Moonglove and Virulent Swipe which are not currently on the list. Should I be adding those?

I'll make a couple cut suggestions, but man, you really ought to put Necrotic Ooze in there. Let me make my case:
1) It's creepy and slimy.
2) If Sisters gets killed you can let her go to the graveyard if you're holding recursion, and while she's there, Ooze gets all her abilities.
3) With Devoted Druid and Wickerbough in the graveyard, it kills any and all enchantments or artifacts you want.
4) Devoted + Quillspike in the gy and your ooze is infinitely large.
5) Devoted + Deity in gy = unlimited regenerate.
6) He can also duplicate Cemetery Reapers ability.
7) Can also have deathtouch if Moonglove Changeling is in the gy.
Ok, so in case I haven't convinced you, I understand. I'll move on to cuts.
I love Nettlevine Blights flavor, but it's always underperformed for me in EDH as there is always so much sacrificing, blinking and other stuff going on. It just never sticks for long.
and out with Naturalize, or at least replace it with what the next guy is about to suggest.
I'd try and get krosan grip in there over naturalize. Sorry, I have no vorthos reason.
Also, sudden spoiling would be on theme and good, speaking of split-second cards. It also allows the sisters to eat a "can't block" creature, like bloodghast or a guy with shadow. (You never know when someone will build a Homura, Human Ascendant deck to counter you!)
Split second is just always a good way to shore up your deck against control.

Actually, it didn't take much.....kicker is that I don't own one yet. Once I do, it'll be going in forsure, cause it can easily replace one of at least half the cards in the decklist.

Very good suggestions. Don't own a sudden spoiling or a krosan grip yet. (Budget player) They'll sneak into my collection sooner or later...but this month I couldn't pass on Dragon Broodmother and Chandra Ablaze...both cheaper than normally listed.....will be getting those cards as soon as I can justify their expense. They've been on my wishlist for awhile now...
K, probably not the best to try this deck out against Rafiq of the Many, but that's what happened and I was slaughtered.....
I did learn a few things though. This deck is slow ramp....means I'll have to look at obtaining some non-basic lands.
Going to remove Drooling Groodion. Way too slow and too costly to play.
Going to remove 1 swamp. Kept getting WAY too much mana when I needed spells. Need to make the mana base more efficient.
Spot removal was my weakness. I didn't have enough options for removing specific targets....like Rafiq off the board. My Deathtouch guys turn out to be more of a 'defensive' mechanism, not a problem solving one. Suggestions?
I think I'll be adding Sudden Death forsure....other -1/-1 effects to compliment would be great.
Was dissapointed with Seizan, Perverter of Truth. My opponent would get the first card draw, and then destroy it....so I'd get nothing. Grrrrr. Swapping that out for Graveborn Muse.
I'll probably swap out Blood Speaker for something more removalish....maybe Cemetary Reaper to compliment the Muse.

I didn't take part in the recent Mirrodin drafts, so Go for the Throat will be a card that will have to wait till it drops in price. $1.50 is too much for a small piece of removal.

I've updated my list in the OP with several new changes to the decklist, despite not owning the cards yet. Hopefully I'm heading in the right direction...I'm trying to lower the curve while still maintaining the same level of threat. Played a Uril-enchant deck last night and was pleasantly pleased that it stood up rather well.
Probably still needs a little more enchant/artifact destruction though: Suggestions?

Also have some tough calls to make. Got a Geth, Lord of the Vault and have to decide what to cut for it. Also am creeping into the 'too low' mana base. That unfortunately means I need to cut some cards and replace them with mana again. Suggestions?

Not saying you should add that much ramp but I find with a high mana curve 41 or so lands and 8-10 ramp really helps.
Cards I would take out. I would start at the higher casting cost to try and lower your mana curve a bit. And during games pay attention to when you draw something and sigh or it sits in your hand for a long time. And rotate those cards out.
I would suggest trying the 40+ land and 10 ramp spells/artifacts for a game cuting out higher casting cost stuff to see the effect it has on your game. Then try and balance it out, between action spells and mana development.
If I had to guess, I'd say your build actually has a lower CMC than mine, although I tend to play multiplayer more than 1v1 so I have a little more leniency. I would suggest Tempting Licid over Lure. As much as I love Venom and Lure, neither actual card was good enough to make my cut. Tempting Licid has a repeatable factor to it, while Lure is often a one shot, unless you happen to have it on Sylvan Basilisk or Tempting Slagwurm.

I'm looking to lower my CMC curve even further, as I still seem to have some mana problems.
I'm thinking Pestilence Demon has got to go, despite having deathtouch attached to him makes him a boardwipe....he's just too expensive. I was thinking of tossing in Treefolk Harbinger, as that will help gain land when needed or treefolk (to which I have several utility) otherwise. Only downside is that he's a 0/3, so deathtouch doesn't work....
Carnifex Demon I think is also going to come out as the odds of it interacting with Quillspike are just too small. Maybe this is where I'll slot in Tempting Licid.
Let me know if you (or anyone I guess) has any further advise.

You got yourself a pretty sweet deck. I'm not too terribly interested in the poison side of the game (never have been) so I'll be staying away from that. (as does the rest of my meta....so it's all good).
Definately going to have to get me a Ohran Viper...that guy looks ridiculous!
Small Decklist Update. Tried to lower the curve down a bit. Overall, I've become quite pleased with the way this deck has turned out. Many cards are a threat in themselves, and they just keep coming back to haunt my opponents. Very Aggro. Very Vorthos.

And as you're running some dredge (and even if you weren't) I'd suggest some more graveyard recursion. Beacon of Unrest, Dread Return, and especially Profane Command for not just the recursion, but all it's other good stuff. Regrowth, Genesis and Eternal Witness on the green recursion side.
I'd also suggest replacing Doom Blade and Assasinate with Rend Flesh and Eyeblight's Ending as they are far less situational (and like 10 cents each).

Very good suggestions. Don't own a sudden spoiling or a krosan grip yet. (Budget player) They'll sneak into my collection sooner or later...but this month I couldn't pass on Dragon Broodmother and Chandra Ablaze...both cheaper than normally listed.....will be getting those cards as soon as I can justify their expense. They've been on my wishlist for awhile now...

Expedition Map to go get any land. This little 10-cent gem is worth it's weight in gold.
Bojuka Bog is another auto-include in any black deck to get rid of troubling opponent graveyards.

As you know doubt see, there are not that many options for BG lands as oposed to the allied-colors.

K, probably not the best to try this deck out against Rafiq of the Many, but that's what happened and I was slaughtered.....
I did learn a few things though. This deck is slow ramp....means I'll have to look at obtaining some non-basic lands.
Going to remove Drooling Groodion. Way too slow and too costly to play.
Going to remove 1 swamp. Kept getting WAY too much mana when I needed spells. Need to make the mana base more efficient.
Spot removal was my weakness. I didn't have enough options for removing specific targets....like Rafiq off the board. My Deathtouch guys turn out to be more of a 'defensive' mechanism, not a problem solving one. Suggestions?
I think I'll be adding Sudden Death forsure....other -1/-1 effects to compliment would be great.
Was dissapointed with Seizan, Perverter of Truth. My opponent would get the first card draw, and then destroy it....so I'd get nothing. Grrrrr. Swapping that out for Graveborn Muse.
I'll probably swap out Blood Speaker for something more removalish....maybe Cemetary Reaper to compliment the Muse.
Thoughts on Gaze of the Gorgon???

A couple of sweepers might even up the odds a bit too (though mostly not budget). Damnation, Black Sun's Zenith looks like it might have some merit, and Pernicious Deed is a favorite.
I'd definitely give the new Glissa a shot.
You could always try out something like No Mercy as a defensive measure.

I didn't take part in the recent Mirrodin drafts, so Go for the Throat will be a card that will have to wait till it drops in price. $1.50 is too much for a small piece of removal.
I'd love to get a copy of Pernicious Deed, but that's dreaming.
Still have my eye on Necrotic Ooze and will be getting a copy when it rotates out of standard.
Overall....
I've updated my list in the OP with several new changes to the decklist, despite not owning the cards yet. Hopefully I'm heading in the right direction...I'm trying to lower the curve while still maintaining the same level of threat. Played a Uril-enchant deck last night and was pleasantly pleased that it stood up rather well.
Probably still needs a little more enchant/artifact destruction though: Suggestions?
Lastly: Card comparison: Natuarlize vs Gleeful Sabatoge??? Which one takes the cake?

probably Naturalize for it's being instant.
Also look at Deglamer. Lot's of people like it for getting around indestructibility... and they cost 5cents.

Also have some tough calls to make. Got a Geth, Lord of the Vault and have to decide what to cut for it. Also am creeping into the 'too low' mana base. That unfortunately means I need to cut some cards and replace them with mana again. Suggestions?

Not saying you should add that much ramp but I find with a high mana curve 41 or so lands and 8-10 ramp really helps.
Cards I would take out. I would start at the higher casting cost to try and lower your mana curve a bit. And during games pay attention to when you draw something and sigh or it sits in your hand for a long time. And rotate those cards out.
I would suggest trying the 40+ land and 10 ramp spells/artifacts for a game cuting out higher casting cost stuff to see the effect it has on your game. Then try and balance it out, between action spells and mana development.

I'm looking to lower my CMC curve even further, as I still seem to have some mana problems.
I'm thinking Pestilence Demon has got to go, despite having deathtouch attached to him makes him a boardwipe....he's just too expensive. I was thinking of tossing in Treefolk Harbinger, as that will help gain land when needed or treefolk (to which I have several utility) otherwise. Only downside is that he's a 0/3, so deathtouch doesn't work....
Carnifex Demon I think is also going to come out as the odds of it interacting with Quillspike are just too small. Maybe this is where I'll slot in Tempting Licid.
Let me know if you (or anyone I guess) has any further advise.

Like you, I wanted to build a thematic, flavorful deck. I stocked it full of Deathtouch, Venom, Lure, and poison abilities. It has tons of deadly combos. To date, one of my favorites is still from the first game, when I blew an entire angel deck out of the sky with a Spitting Spider wielding a Gorgon Flail. I don't play it regularly, but it has a way of changing games - people are scared to leave it alone but also scared to attack into it.
