I own an Azamy EDH deck that i've played a lot. It's very solid at controling the board and absorbing all the heat from the group. Most of the time She takes on everybody, but if i slip just a bit, i get triple team in a sec.
I love blue and just thinking about putting away Azami broke my heart. So i decided to build another U EDH deck that can actually beat people down insead of blocking incoming puches from the whole group.
My Commander of choice...Kira...What else do you want from a beatdown general?
Cheap, Evassion, Protects my team...and she is BLUE!!!!
I have Counters, and other forms of tempo elements in the deck. Also, i have ways to ramp into BIG dudes that are very hard to deal with on their own, and stupid HARD to deal with my General in play
Keiga, the Tide Star - Good offensive beats, and pretty good defensive. If someone wants to attack you with their non shrouded fatty and he is untapped on the board, they may want to reconsider.
Keiga, the Tide Star - Good offensive beats, and pretty good defensive. If someone wants to attack you with their non shrouded fatty and he is untapped on the board, they may want to reconsider.
Deep-Sea Kraken - This guy is nasty with Kira on board. Also, comes into play suspended pretty quickly with 3+ other players.
Those are great suggestion Sr.
However out of the ones you mentioned the only ones that I'd payed without hesitate are Keiga, the Tide Star and Sphinx Ambassador
It's not that the other 2 creatures are bad, It's more that I want to be carefull in not filling the deck with BIG monters and forget about the mid-range creatures.I dont want to open hands with lands and monsters.:embarrass:
I actually tried the Djinn in the beggining but I didnt like it much. So i replaced it for Magus of the Future wich happens to be in the same mana curve. I think this is what i want to do with most of the cards that i replace, so i keep a balanced curve. So, Roil Elemental for Keiga, the Tide Star sounds good?
One more thing that i feel i missing in this deck is a little bit more power.Like a spell or permanent that can boost my team up. Something like Coat of Arms without the erstriction obviously. I thought about Equipments, that I could be hurting myself more than helping...since my general doesn't like to be targeted. So i was thinking something more global maybe???
You can still run equips in Kira, as long as you're careful about when you equip (either when there's no danger of instant speed removal or when you can protect her anyways) and pick the right ones. You want high power and low equip cost equips like Sword of Fire and Ice, Sword of Light and Shadow, or Bonesplitter. You also have to remember that Kira won't always be on the field, and you can take advantage of the times when your general dies to equip something else before recasting.

I think Roil Elemental is a great swap for Keiga. Running just a few equipments in here looks like it could be pretty handy because there just isn't much in the way of mass pump available to you. You are really only opening yourself up to targeted instant speed spot removal because any activated abilities would come from something already in play that you can see. I have fond memories running Deap-Sea Kraken in Jhoira but of course he also had some synergy with the general.
I played a Kira deck for quite a while that was more focused on fast mana, copying dudes and playing fatties. I routinely Fabricated for Extraplanar Lens and Gauntlet of Power. I liked it very much.
Myr Battlesphere and Molten-Tail masticore are weak. I know you can get them out easier with Grand Architect, but don't you wish they were Stormtide Leviathan or even Platinum Emperion?
Coralhelm Commander could and should be Thada Adel, Acquisitor. She's underrated among most players and she's extremely useful for generating advantage.
I don't think you need so many counterspells. Your general will be doing the countering for you- other players have no incentive to target your guys while they're semi-shrouded. I'd replace a couple for some more card draw. Again, Rhystic Study and Mystic Remora would go a long way here.
My overall advice would be switch up your gameplan a bit. Raise your mana curve a bit and play less 3/3's and more fatties. You get the most out of your general's ability when you are playing creatures that demand removal. Guys like Rainbow Efreet (and I'm using her as a global example) just don't do that. As your opponent, I would completely ignore Rainbow Efreet and Coralhelm Commander just kill you with my own larger, nastier creatures. With such a powerful ability on your general, I don't see why you should be buffing small creatures just to have them lose in combat to routinely larger ones. Less Jushi and Rainbow Efreet and more Stormtide Leviathan I'd say.
If you really want to play a blue aggro deck, merfolk tribal would be the way to go I think (then play coat of arms and go nuts). The interactions between those cards are way more powerful than any that are presented here for aggro purposes.
Thanks for the suggestions guys. Here are my thoughts:
@Weebo...Yes those are the same equipments i had in mind if i went for the equipments idea. I also thoguht about Lighting Greaves since it makes my general almost imposible to die and busrt her bubble without paying mana. The fact that i dont have my general in play all the time makes me want to play the equipments.Good Point.
@Naz
I dont know if runing Evacuation with 30 creatures in my deck is a good idea. This is why i want to add Tradewind Rider to solve the ones that are giving the most trouble. On the same topic, this is why i run lots of counters. To stop the unstopable and to protect when i'm unprotected. Kira usually brings heat upon her and people will gang-up upon her...so at the moment i feel the counters are necesary. Besides, there are only 11 plus Venser and Glenn Elendra =)
Akroma's Memorial is to make my creatures even more stupid hard to kill but It doesnt beef them up. I do have Grand Architect in my list. Molten-Tail Masticor is still in try out. So far he's been average, but time will tell on him. Echo Mage sounds like a GOOD idea though. I got an extra one, i'll find some room for him.
@SuperSonik Fabricate is a good option...I have to tinker on that one.
I agree with you about the Masticore, but not on the Myr Battle Sphere. I think this card does more that Platinum Emperor...How do you get around Maze of Ith or Fog effects, or anything that stops you from attacking...I remember last game i played with the deck i bounced the Battlesphere with Venser and killed all kinds of Opponents. It basiclly won me the game.
As for Stormtide Leviathan is in my bench ready to get swap.
I like Magus of the Future because is a creature and get some random benefficial effects like Grand Architect per say. but I should def. look room for Future Sight. You hit that one well.
Rhystic Study is also in my bench, and i agree that the deck needs just a bit more of draw power.
And about Tahda Adel, Anquisitor is a very interesting cad. I'll keep it in mind. I have extra ones so it'll be easy to do the change if i decide it.
About making the deck all Fatties...well that was the way i first built it. I had all kinds of Serpents, Leviathan, Octupus, Krakens, Sphinxses...i even had Quest for Ula's Temple in the deck. Also some ways to cheat the creatures like Quicksilver Amulet or the other Piper-effect Artifact that if forgot its name now. However, opening hands with Lands, some mana ramp and monsters that i only could cast as fast as turn 5 or 6 turned me off about this idea.
This is why i decided to build a better curve that smooths out through the whole game. Also, i think the utility creatures are VERY important to set the pace of your deck early-mid and late game.I can't tell how much i love Jushi Apprentice
Thanks again for all the comments. Im still looking to take out to put in. I got a few ideas from all the comments. My bench just got bigger!
Im already using this card in an Azami deck and the card is very helpfull. Thanks for bringing it up.BTW, is that deck list on the link your most recent one? It doesnt seem like it.
Im still looking for ways to beef my creatures....Is there a card in the whole Magic universe that can help my blue friends in a global way?
First, I added a card that i was waitng for this deck: Caged Sun .Then i put some equipments to make it more interesting. Lighting Greaves to make my Commander imposible to spot kill, and SoLS to gain some life, but most important, to recur dead soldiers.
Im trying 2 new cards. Drain Power to help me ramp into monsters, and Amnesia..It just seems very mean.
I really want to find a spot for Karn (planeswalker) and Denying Winds.

Sphinx Ambassador - So easy in EDH.
Djinn of Wishes - Can beat + nice ability.
Deep-Sea Kraken - This guy is nasty with Kira on board. Also, comes into play suspended pretty quickly with 3+ other players.

Sphinx of Lost Truths should be Sphinx of Magosi. That's an easy upgrade.
Why play Magus of the Future over Future Sight? Only one of these can't die to creature sweepers or in combat.
Thieving Magpie should be Rhystic Study or Mystic Remora.
Coralhelm Commander could and should be Thada Adel, Acquisitor. She's underrated among most players and she's extremely useful for generating advantage.

Man, thats a dated list. It's almost totally different now, but it should give you an idea of where to start. =D
Inundate is the right call!

Also, if i can't get the Sword of Light and Shadow($$) I'll add Recall instead. It seems on par.
Finally, Im trying Phychic Surgery over Quicksilver Fountain to see how it goes.
I'll have better results after this weekend.
