He'll be ultra rare, I don't expect to see one. Cool news though.
What?
Less rare than a normal pack. (half the rares and mythics)
Of course, there is the awkwardness that is 10 mythics.
One faction has one less mythic.

I feel like we'll see more than any other mythic though, since he can be opened in either pack.
A phyrexian guy and a mirran guy could both open Tezz, but only one could open Consecrated Sphinx, etc.
Well they might print Tez half as many times as the other mythics on either side. I doubt they are going to flood the market with him by making him twice as common (which would basically make him a regular rare).
I wouldn't be surprised if mythics were more common during 1st print runs. At my LGS's prerelease, there were TONS of mythic pulls, and at my stores release, all the boxes opened on the spot had what seemed like more than the normal 4ish a box.

dingdingdingding we have a winner.
regular rares will be 4x on the sheet on each side
other mythics will be 2x on the sheet on each side
tez will be the 1x that makes 81 or 121 or whatever on each side

MBS has 155 cards... 77 each side, + 1 Tezz. I'm guessing there will be 11 mythics total in this set
Did people really need confirmation for what common sense should have told them? People are way too paranoid (not sure if that's the right word for the situation but that's what I'm going with).
I am glad this has finally been confirmed. A part of me was beginning to think he'd be in neither, but another part of me knew that just would hurt hype for the pre-release too much. Either way it cuts down on the decision making aspect drastically. I can (and probably was already going to) look at this completely unbias and just decide which pool of cards I feel gives me the best chance to win.
Ah, that day when I read about the faction boosters, I forgot to ask this. Nice to know. Still, I have to wonder if this does mean that Tezz will have higher distribution rate, or that there's a catch...
Do you guys really think that one card being more/less common at the pre-release will in any way affect distribution and supply? It's just in the pre-release boosters anyway, it shouldn't have any effect on the overall pricing system.
I've only pulled one planeswalker at an event. It was at a release party draft and I pulled koth in my third pack. Couldn't use him in a draft but kept him just the same. And I like that both factions could get tezz. Should make things interesting.
Big shout out to Megabug at Realm of the Bug Studios for the sig!

Incidentally, I've pulled a Planeswalker at every prerelease I've been to.

Out of 35 people we pulled 3 Koth, 4 Elspeth and 3 Venser (including a foil one)
Karn isn't a Planeswalker anymore. Get over it.

I believe Bolas' bidding is the fight. But that's just my opinion.
Anyway, we still don't know if this Tezz will be just as common as another Mythic rare in the same faction, or only half as rare.

We had almost the exact same results at my card shop. maybe it was the same shop
10 of those cards are basic lands, making this set the usual size of 145 cards, so I doubt they added an extra mythic.

Aah, didn't see the spoilers, Hmm. so 72 each faction, and one faction has one less mythic. Ehhh.
This is cool. If i go to the pre-release i hope to pull a tezz. This is great news!!!
