If someone told you there would be 3/3's with Ink-Traeder or Dune-Brood's ability for 4 mana in Guildpact, you would have thought it was awesome. But unfourtunatly, they are extremely hard to cast, so to make this deck, I had to make it 5 colors, with lots of dual lands and mana sources. This is what I came up with...
Now I made this deck just for fun, but it was surprisingly good when I was testing. Third turn Nephilim are very fun, and it has 12 removal spells for backup. And Watchwolf and Burning-Tree provide great creature back-up. While this certainly won't win much tournaments, it's a very fun deck. Any comments?
well the nephilm are certainly cool and u only need to hit with some of them once, like the dune brood. however that poses a problem due to their weakness as 2/2s and 3/3s for 4 mana.most of the time they just sit theit and do nothig. these are the harsh realitites i faced when i madea similar deck. not trying to pesimistic, just sharing my experience.

No Yore-Tiller Nephilim? That's like the BEST one. Also, I know this card was a BOMB in draft, but it could be really good here...it's Dance of Shadows. It will give them all a little power boost and a GREAT evasion ability. This would work especially well with Yore-Tiller if one of the others had died...

Alright, I'll test Yore-Tiller to see if it works, but I don't think I would find its ability very useful.
Threaten has some game-winning interactions with Inkie if you're interested. Natural Affinity also works well, especially if you've got a Lightning Helix to point at that Inkie.
I recommend including some card draw or cantrips. You've got the blue, so you may as well use it.

He could replace Lightning Helix with Electorlyze, and add Threaten to the sideboard. After all, it's only really good if your opponent is playing with a bunch of creatures.

But if I put in the Orochi Leafcaller, should I take out all my dual lands period and replace them with forests? Because it seems to me that the Leafcaller would be a bit innefective without a lot of lands adding green mana, and I don't want to put all the trust of my mana into a vulnerable 1/1 though...
I need to test some of these ideas, especially some of those combos with Ink-Treader. Thanks for the ideas guys...:)
Edit: I've also replaced Watchwolf with Electrolyze, and added a sideboard. And I've taken out a Witch-Maw for an Ink-Treader.

I think the Leafcaller isn't that necessary: you already have Farseek, Utopia Tree, and Birds of Paradise to help you along.

1. Ink-Treader can really screw you up vs. non-creature-heavy decks.
2. Witch-Maw is a beast.
3. The Shaman doesn't make sense. I mean, sure, he's fat, but your Nephilim should be fat enough.
I recommend:
-1 Ink-Treader
-3 Shaman
+1 Witch-Maw
+3 Wood Elves
See how that works out.
EDIT: Gah, Ink-Treader is next to useless MD. You never want him out in a lot of situations, and you don't have enough ways to take advantage of him. I say:
In Sideboard:
-1 Witch-Maw
-1 Electrolyze
+2 Ink-Treader
That way you can side out the other Nephilim and add the Threaten-Treader combo against weenie decks.
In Maindeck:
-2 Ink-Treader (going off my previous suggestion of removing one)
-3 Utopia Tree
+2 Yore-Tiller Nephilim
+1 Electrolyze
+2 Tidings
Utopia Tree really isn't that useful, and this deck needs card draw lest it go stale - I hope the double-U won't be a problem. Yore-Tiller might help recover some dead Nephilim.

how about Incite Hysteria? If you target that one guy...he gives you a free turn to attack. And some Breath of Furys. Wow, that would just be fun...
That'd be fun, yes, but for a different deck to try, preferably one with less valuable creatures (pumped tokens, for instance). In this one, Putrefy becoming Wrath of God is very bad if you're winning, and there aren't really enough tricks to make good use of the Nephilim yourself. Helix screws you, too. (Electrolyze is OK, however.)
I see a Utopia Tree where there should be a Sakura Tribe Elder.
Unfortunately, with only three basic lands, the Elder is going to be pretty narrow.

I'm actually a big fan of the Ink-Treader myself. Threaten is a little inconsistant to me, but with Electrolyze you can take out a lot of their small creatures and get some big card advantage. Your Lightning Helix can become a 3 damage to each creature and gain a ton of life if they have a lot of creatures in play. Mortify or Putrefy is a Wrath that takes out Artifacts or Enchantments as well. I can usually stop it from benefiting them by playing Burning-Tree, Witch-maw or Dune-Brood first, and then once they focus all their removal on that, I can play Ink-Traeder and they are all out of removal, and I can start to use my tricks. If I think I can win without it in play, I usually won't play it, just in case. Plus it adds a cool fun factor to the deck.
Of course I still have a lot of differen't things to try out for this deck considering all the different color combinations, but right now, I'm going to start testing Yore-Tiller.
I saw someone on MWS using Orochi Leafcaller in this sorta deck and it worked pretty well...but if you do use it, it shouldn't be your ONLY way of creating multi-colored mana. Maybe Tendo Ice Bridge and a small number of the bounce lands? (Selesnya Sanctuary, Dimir Aqueduct, etc.)
Well maybe it's just my luck, but I have been sparsly having trouble with my mana. I will take 4 or so damage from the untapping of the shock lands, but it really I don't have much problems getting my mana...but like I said, maybe that's just my luck.
Wood Elves fetch black, red, white and of course, green mana producing dual lands. I think they'd be the key addition. Plus, they thin your deck much like good ol' STE.
Lol, I don't know if that's attempt to be funny of just a person with severe counting problems, but either way I'm putting it in my sig...

Hmm, I don't know about Wood Elves, it costs 3 mana, and there is nothing in the deck that costs more than 4. So it won't really help you get mana faster, it will only fix it, and it doesn't fetch blue either. Of course, it gets mana quicksy, and can attack so I'll still consider it, but I'm going to probably run Utopia Tree. Thanks though.
Also, I'm not really into Yore-Tiller, it rarely ever does anything but be a 3/3 for 4 and return a Birds every once in a while. To help against aggresive decks, I've added Savage Twister because I've found myself wishing I had that card so many times.

No, Treader's copies can only target creatures.
The only real tricks you have with the Treader kill it, with the exception of Electorlyze, which is the best trick. There are a couple of problems with this and other things.
First, what's the point of preventing your opponent from removing it if you're just going to do it yourself? Second, your opponent could screw you by playing Helix or something in response to your own spell. Everyone dies, but he gets the benefit, and your card is wasted.
Treader's not a win conditionin this desk. He only works in your advantage if your other creatures are dying, and even then, he's risky and slow. If you need to reliably wipe the field, use Twister or Pyroclasm or something.

No, because it would also untap and pump your opponents creatures. that would kind of be bad for you...
