Ok, so that is my current list here are some cards that I have recently pull from the deck or am considering putting in. I am currently looking for good sideboard cards also.
I don't like lands that come into play tapped, that's why I'm not playing mosswort bridge though I may add it later if I feel I need more card advantage.
I simply don't own a Wasteland or a Ghost Quarter, although I am wary of replacing too many basic Forest with colorless producing land, I may look for these/proxy, I think I will try to stay with atleast 25 basic Forest.
With the Fetchlands I also don't own any of them or Crucible of Worlds which they combo quite well with, I am strongly considering adding these though, if I do put in a Crucible I may also put in a Constant Mists and/or a Sunstone and the Snow-Covered Forests. I would probably also put in a Wasteland and a Ghost Quarter should I put in a Crucible.
This is versatile but the fact that it is sorcery speed is a big downer because there is alot of blue in my area and if I want to get some sort of threatening creature with Command I have to have the mana to play it that turn, ruling out early Primeval Titans, which I am fetching for the mana in the first place.
I am strongly considering this because an unconditional reusable tutor will win you the game if left undealt with, I might take out the Gaea's Blessing or Lightning Greaves for one.
As a I mentioned earlier there is ton's of blue in my area, and the benefit gained by playing these is outweighed by their liability due to bribery, so I choose just not to play them. BTW ban bribery, really, what does mono green due against a bribed Eldrazi Titan? O Stone, Disk, Duplicant, Brittle Effigy, or Lignify and half of those only work on Kozilek. In my opinion, EDH either needs to give up color restrictions based on general, allowing a Mono Green deck to have sufficient solutions to these kinds of creatures, or ban bribery, in my world, both would happen and I would play Blue-Black-Green Azusa deck with no bribery. But under the current rules, my only option against Bribery is play ☺☺☺☺tier creatures, cool huh? This is called deck/format warping, when you have to go to extremes like putting worse cards in your deck to deal with your opponents cards. whatevs I still pwn...
extra recursion could be nifty, but seeing as I have no way to recur the Witness I may go with the built in reusable recursion option of Hollistic Wisdom, probably take out the Greaves/Blessing for it.
most likely going to put this in to get back blown up cradle/maze of ith. I have one in another of my EDH decks, and finding another one will be impossible with out forking out 1.50$ online some where boo hoo hoo ya, finding old dollar rares is impossible haha
You can only play so much ramp, though I like the sphere alot because its pretty cheap for putting multiple land in my hand and I can play it turn 2 and split the cost between then and like turn 3 or 4. I think I will try out the sphere. On a side note I do know that skyshroud claim is better than explosive vegatation in this deck, but I don't have one, so I'm using the Vegatation for now.
prob try this out, though I think I like Soul's Majesty better since you don't have to sac a creature, though it does get countered if they kill the creature in response to the playing of the SM, whereas MF can't get countered like that, oh the ups and downs.
Just got a SoFaF, No idea how it will turn out. Still looking for the SoLaS but will probably proxy one up because Cheap reusable recursion is rare and I want to give it a go.
all of these were in the deck at one point and I found I needed my creatures to do more than just be a big dude, so I took them all out.
[CARD]
Silvos, Rogue Elemental
[/CARD]
This guy however is different for a couple reasons, which when combined make me consider playing him. A. Evasion as in Trample B. Regeneration and C. 8 power for 6 mana.
Used to play it, it is more draw, but it only finds creatures, and only when mine die, although that is the best time to find them, so, I may put it back in.
[CARD]
Sylvan Safekeeper
[/CARD]
Pretty good against some decks, but generally worse than Asceticism but may make the sideboard
[CARD]
Tower of Calamities
[/CARD]
May use as removal, because utility creatures can really throw a wrench in the gears of this baby and the tower can handle pretty much anything without shroud/regen/indestructible and mana is no issue. probably will give it a shot.
[CARD]
Eternity Vessel
[/CARD]
Given the frequency of land drops I have had this in before, though I think this deck is better off being proactive and laying threats than keeping my life total high, also, can be a dead draw later on
[CARD]
Arashi, the Sky Asunder
[/CARD]
Anti Iona Tech, may sideboard
I'm probably going to remove the Exploration because I usually don't have extra land in hand once I play my general, so it is only good on turn 1/2. I spent 20$ on it though, sigh.
I would appreciate any suggestions from Azusa players and others too.
Peace,
Stephen
EDIT: If someone could tell me how to format the decklist so it is in one of the "deck" squares and still has the cards hyperlinked that would be greatly appreciated.
I think I may be missing Sensei's Divining Top (maybe its banned for the format you want, but you posted in multiplayer sooo...) Also Mirri's Guile and Scroll Rack are incredibly effective ways of filtering your draws.
Personally I think Omnath is infinitly better as a general than azusa unless you are really trying to play up a Crucible of Worlds/Life from the Loam recursion engine with Strip Mine/Wasteland/Ghost Quarter and other land tricks sort of theme...you seem to be more of a go big sort of list though which makes me think going Omnath as general with seedborn muse in the deck would be just a lot better for you. Omnath can also be a lot better late game vs Azusa who is kinda meh if you dont have major land recursion going. So summing that up Crucible+loam+strip mine=Azusa is boss, if not then I feel like Omnath is superior in just about every way..the ramp with him is really ridiculous.
If you do want to go really competitive and dont mind people getting mad for a lot of land death, Sundering Titan should make the list as well assuming it isnt banned where you play.
Mosswort bridge does come in tapped, but can be a pretty big win occasionally though it can miss. I think the deck plays enough ways to play and get other lands that having a few tap lands shouldnt really hurt you at all.
Green is good at artifact/enchantment removal, and you have a bunch of it...but creature removal green is too terrible at to not include at least some of these options, sure you have all is dust and ostone, but what if you have like 400 creatures out and they play Blazing Archon or some other really bad for you effect in the form of a creature?
The problem with defining [EDH] by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
Desert twister is good in mono-green because of how few non artifact/enchantment removal green has and how versatile it is. Also. The mana cost can be supported by your general.

I decided to go with a little more disruption with Avarice Totem and Willow Satyr and a little less protection taking out Gaea's Blessing and Lightning Greaves. The totem will be fairly mana intensive since I plan on double activating it generally in order to get the totem back and exchange something like a land for something of my opponents, I think I'm going to have the mana though because Tower of Fortunes has been working really well and it's just 2 less to active.
Planar Portal this is probably better than Citanul Flute considering my mana curve and it's flexibility, I haven't played it because I don't have one and I can only play 10 proxies and I'm at the limit and old dollar rares are hard to find, may just get one online
Card's in consideration for sideboard:
Lifeforce though I'm currently leaning away because it forces me to stay untapped whereas Compost and Nature's Wrath let me do my thing without interruption
Choke Might take out the Tsunami for this because it keeps on working after it is played initially
Seedtime There is tons of Blue and Blue based combo where I play, could an extra turn here and there really hurt?
I'm looking for suggestions for one-time and reusable creature removal and artifact/enchantment removal and possible sideboard cards. there is alot of creature based infinite combo where I play like Kiki-Jiki, the Mirror Breaker, Palinchron, and Arcanis, the Omnipotent so I may add Cursed Totem and/or Damping Matrix except they interact fairly negatively with these creatures
I could hold the artifacts until it looks like my opponents are close to combo, but that seems like a risky strategy so I don't know what I'm going to do here.
Ok, that's about it for the update, suggestions are appreciated.

Cards considered for Main Deck:
Omnath, Locus of Mana: I know I just took him out and he is a serious mana battery, but I'm going to give Silvos, Rogue Elemental a go in his slot and see how things work out
Duplicant/Brittle Effigy: Depends on how I'm feeling about problem creatures and if Avarice Totem is too mana intensive
Planar Portal this is probably better than Citanul Flute considering my mana curve and it's flexibility, I haven't played it because I don't have one and I can only play 10 proxies and I'm at the limit and old dollar rares are hard to find, may just get one online
