I liked Zaph's poem a lot. I have written a poem of the same name and the entire endless serpent concept is just awesome to me. (Ouroboro's being the name of the serpent in some cultures).
I voted for "Ouroboros" by Zaph. I enjoyed how the theme wove, and the last clause captured a powerful thought, although bits of the diction didn't flow to my exact liking. Still, my favorite from the bunch.
I'd also like to give a nod to mtgman_arich's "Content". As a concise short, it said a lot in quite a small space. I meant to vote for it as well, but misclicked.
