I was originally running moxen, because my play group allowed it, but we've finally decided to use the accepted banned list, so I removed them from my deck and have made a few changes since last time.
That's cool that you allow Moxen, but why do you also allow the color identity rule to be broken and run each mox in a two color deck?

I thought the color rule only applied to activated abilities that involved a mana symbol. Am I wrong? Any mana that could be produced from the off-color Moxes ends up being colorless. If I'm wrong, I'll take out the conflicting Moxen.
Edit: I was definitely wrong. I looked at the Commander rules again.
Golgari rot farm might be better than gemstone mine in this deck even though you run crucible.
Yes, you may be correct!
I just recently got back into the game after a couple year hiatus, so there may be cards that I don't even know exist that could be fun/good to add. Thanks for the suggestion Nathan.
Thanks for the suggestions. I had Strip Mine in the deck for a while, but decided to take it out because it made the games where I coupled it with Crucible of Worlds too degenerate (especially during the occasional 1v1 play). I decided to keep Wasteland in the deck, because it is no where near as unhealthy for the format as Strip Mine. As far as your other recommendations, I will definitely be making some substitutions. I've thought about reflecting pool, and cabal coffers; and I've even given consideration to Forbidden Orchard (because of Glissa's artifact recursion ability). My only concern with running too many non-basic lands, however, is Blood Moon.
Edit: Oh, and I was thinking, couldn't I achieve an infinite amount of mana simply by adding Grim Monolith, or Basalt Monolith (because I have Mana Reflection in the deck)? Then I could easily run Genesis Wave. I don't know, but it is another option to consider.

I would definitely cut Gilded Lotus as you should have a lot more mana with Coffers going, but the rest looks pretty solid, it probably comes down to preference mostly. On the monolith question, I'm not a huge fan of combos, but if that's accepted in your group, then you could use Rings of Brighthearth as another combo with Basalt Monolith, additionally, it combos with Deserted Temple + Cabal Coffers for infinite mana (copy the Temple ability targeting Coffers and itself). Good luck, and glad to be of help.

i run this deck. but without the moxens lol wish i could do that. but anyways id use garruk. also tooth and nail is pretty good. if you throw that in there then put in darksteel so you can get both colossus.

I took Garruk out for Praetor's Counsel, it was a tough decision but I feel it is worth it. As far as running the other colossus, I've thought about it, but I decided that wouldn't be a good idea. I've been considering taking out It That Betrays and replacing it with Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre since Annihilator 4 is way better than Annihilator 2.
Thanks!
Oh yeah, I'm not sure if you noticed, but I do run Tooth and Nail.
I run a list that is much lighter on the creatures, but this looks pretty good. I can confirm that Praetor's Counsel is amazing - it usually "draws" me 20+ cards by the time I drop it.
One thing I found with this deck is that Indestructible is a very tough keyword to play around. Not sure if it's a big issue in your playgroup, but I kept losing my Blightsteel to Mind Controls, Gather Specimens and Bribery, and had no way to deal with my own creature. I added Mutilate (I usually have Urborg on the table) and stuff like Chainer's Edict for this reason. They double to kill stuff like Uril too, so I find lots of use for them.

i've been thinking of picking up the abyss for my glissa deck too. have you tested it yet? anyone have any feedback on this? seems like it would go really well with the recursion provided by both green and black, and also with the artifact heavy theme of the deck.
i've also been thinking of picking up a chaos orb for glissa. my group also doesn't follow the banned list and we play un cards so i'm sure chaos orb would be fine. don't know how your group feels about illegal cards, but it's funny to me because glissa actually has real synergy with chaos orb.
oh, also you asked about forcefield. i run it and it works great. highly recommended.
EDIT: FogFrog i've had the same problem, and death cloud is my mvp. i usually have a ton of mana so i can just wreck the board and take care of most anything. this is a card though that some people absolutely hate to play against, so use at your own risk depending on who you play with.
The hate is exactly why I've opted not to play it. Black Sun's Zenith would be another option, though. Especially delicious when facing token decks...
Also, I'd add Lord of Extinction. I keep seeing people talking about how he's underwhelming, but a 5-cost creature that ends games seems extremely relevant to me. Give him a Whispersilk Cloak and watch the carnage

Yeah, I can see how that could be a problem. I used to run Chainier's Edict too, but decided to take it out (I can't remember what for, though). I figure that between Asceticism, Duplicant, All is Dust, and Black Sun's Zenith, I could theoretically be okay in a situation like that (especially with tutors and permanent removal).

I can see how The Abyss could work really well in this format in most situations, which is why I was thinking about it. Haven't tested it yet, though. It's funny that you bring up Chaos Orb, because I've thought about adding it too! It has tremendous synergy with Glissa, but the only format where I know it's legal is 5-Color Magic. I think it would be fun to play, though.

I had Lord of Extinction in here before (not too long ago), but I took him out for Woodfall Primus. I'd often find myself drawing LoE early, and he's a big piece of ... if you get him early. Plus he has no evasion, and I always figure that you can never have too much permanent destruction.
Took out Woodfall Primus for a Genesis Wave. It was a really tough decision, but all I can say is that Genesis Wave is ridiculous! I've been thinking about adding Thornbite Staff, as well as Viridian Longbow, but I don't think there's room at all.
Managed to add Viridian Longbow, but at the expense of taking out Survival of the Fittest. I realized that I don't run that many utility creatures to warrant running Survival (also, I lack the ability to play red, where as I could play Squee, Goblin Nabob). It was another hard decision, but in the long run I feel it will be worth it.
Made a few more changes. I added a Golgari Rot Farm and a Cabal Coffers. I took out a Forest for a Animate Dead, and Crucible of Worlds for Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre. Taking out Crucible was a another tough choice, but I rarely used it as it is, I might decide to add it in again later, but who knows...? I know I need a Vesuva, but as it is, the deck ramps like crazy. I don't know if I really need a Vesuva other than possibly destroying an enemy Legendary Land...
I keep making slight modifications to my deck: This time, I took out Sword of Body and Mind, and put in a Mephidross Vampire. I also took out Nihil Spellbomb and replaced it with a Triskelion. I don't know if I should be going for this combo, but when I'm running both Tooth and Nail and Defense of the Heart, it seems almost worth it, but I'm still not sure. Does my deck look like it's trying to do too much, or is the strategy I've taken sound?
I've made quite a few changes since the last time I posted something on this thread. You guys can see the updated list by looking at the original post, however I had a question because I've been debating something for a couple of days and I can't decide if I should take out Life's Finale for a Decree of Pain. What are your guys' thoughts on this and potentially other things that could be missing from the deck?

Fair enough! Thanks for the suggestion, but I always have trouble finding things to take out. The deck, as is, is pretty damn solid, so it is hard to figure out what to remove. The lands would be easy (Cabal Coffers and Vesuva, Deserted Temple), but Expedition Map, Demonic Collusion, Reap and Sow, Sylvan Scrying, Crop Rotation, and Genesis Wave would be difficult to add... unless people have any suggestions?
Thanks!
