"Well what is it, Captain Loran, I heard you wanted to see me?"
"Yes General Cracken, about these new potential Wraith Squadron members...you sent me way too many."
"Well, you're not a starfighter squadron, anymore, Captain....there's no need to limit yourself to 12 members."
"We had 13 members actually at one point"
"Whatever. You could still work quite well with a few more agents, each of whom I'm told is highly qualified."
"Well, I'm not sure about that sir. We here at Wraith Squadron have always had some....interesting types of qualifications I'm not sure the new guys have."
"Interesting...I'll say."
"How about this sir, I'm going to run an exercise with the potential new members, and those who win the exercise, no matter how many, I'll accept into my unit."

"First of all Elassar, that wasn't an exercise...that was the squadron being manipulated by a Rogue NRI Officer. Second, while Wedge and the others aren't bad at intelligence work, they're primarily pilots. They wouldn't have been expected to succeed at the exercise in the first place.
"Ah, is that why you upped the difficulty this time sir?"
"Well, that and I wanted to see if any of the new recruits could fit into special roles we could use."
"Understood sir, just tell me when to start."
Garik "Face" Loran smiled. This was going to be fun.
------------------------------------------------- MOD NOTE: I'm including Star Wars (Wraith Squadron) Flavor for Fun, but the game is a true open setup with no flavor really involved. PMs are below.
----------------------------------------------------------
THIS GAME IS AN OPEN SETUP. The game will work like this: There will be two days before each night. So the game will start with Day 1, then go straight to Day 2 upon lynch, then to Night 1, then Day 3, Day 4, Night 2, etc.
If the LYNCHER wins, everyone else loses. The Lyncher's target will NOT know he's the lyncher target, rather than an ordinary townie. If the Lyncher's target is nightkilled, it will be revealed publically and the lyncher will become a regular townie.
PMS (some blatantly stolen from Chamber):
Quote from MAFIA 1 PM (2 Players) »
You are a member of MAFIA 1 along with PLAYERX, each night phase your group will decide on a kill and submit it to me, In case of a discrepancy between members the last instructions I receive will be the ones I follow. You may talk with your scum-mate by PM during day or night.
You win if you control the lynch (if your mafia consists of 50% of the players remaining). However, if the endgame comes to a situation in which the remaining players are 50% MAFIA 1 and 50% MAFIA 2, you will lose and MAFIA 2 will be the winner.
Quote from MAFIA 2 PM (2 Players) »
Sometimes, an intelligence person has to work with others to manipulate a larger group, with minimal resources.
You are a member of MAFIA 2 along with PLAYERX. You do NOT have a kill. You may talk with your scum-mate by PM during day or night.
You win if you control the lynch (if your mafia consists of 50% of the players remaining). If the endgame comes to a situation in which the remaining players are 50% MAFIA 1 and 50% MAFIA 2, you will WIN and MAFIA 2 will be the winner.
Quote from LYNCHER PM »
Sometimes, an intelligence person has a specific target, but limited resources. This will require a great amount of manipulation an agent to manipulate others into believing they have to eliminate that target, when they really don't.
You are the LYNCHER. You win when LYNCHER TARGET (a Town-Aligned player) is lynched. Should that player be nightkilled, you will be converted to a normal Townie.
Win Condition: Have the Lyncher Target be lynched by the town. If you do, the game will end and you will be the sole winner. Should any other group achieve their win condition before this, you lose.
Quote from Townie PM (6 Players) »
You’re a townie. New Republic Intelligence is filled with grunts like you, who are not distinguished enough to get any recognition and any really cool assignments. But you're still really valuable, I swear!
Win Condition: All scum (and the lyncher) must be eliminated.
Quote from Townie Cop PM »
You're the town cop. Every Night, you may pick a player. You will be told whether that player is MAFIA or NOT-MAFIA. You will not be told what mafia that player belongs to, if any. In addition, you will not be able to detect the lyncher - the lyncher will show up as NOT-MAFIA.
Win Condition: All scum (and the lyncher) must be eliminated.
I love Joboman, Poggy, Niv, and Vezok, because, while they may not be the best players, they still try to win. Having fun is the most important thing to a game, but I've learned that if you don't try to win, then you're ruining everyone else's fun.
Rules (Stolen from Red_Omega and then Altered, who swiped them from Guardman, taken at point blank range from Ecophagy, pilfered from loran16, stolen from Some One, stolen from Stormblind, stolen from CropCircles, stolen from carrion pigeons, who stole them from loran16, who then stole them from SorryGuy, who retrieved them courteously from Xyre, who jacked them from Jobie, who stole them from Puzzle, but Puzzel stole them from Crippled_Fist, who stole them from Ljustus, who stole them from carrion pigeons, who copyrighted them from CropCircles, who first pirated them from Puzzle, who got them in a private message from Halo_Freak):
1. Bold your votes and unvotes please, this makes it easier for me. They should look like this: Vote Erestor.
2. You do not need to unvote before you vote again, but I would appreciate it.
3. Any votes or unvotes not in bold will not be counted.
4. Do not communicate at night or day unless your role PM says otherwise.
5. Quote PMs all you want. It won't do you any good.
6. You may vote No lynch, and a majority of these votes will end the day without a death.
7. Please do not edit or delete your posts no matter how stupid a mistake you made. This will get you modkilled. This is your only warning.
8. Once you are dead, you are dead, so stop posting please. A single ‘bah’ post is permissible.
9. Even after you are dead, please refrain from discussing the game or your role with anyone, even other players who have also been eliminated. If you have any questions about this rule, please ask.
10. If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 72-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Otherwise, you may be prodded or replaced.
11. If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. I will not wait for you – if you do not submit a choice to me, tough! No choice will be made.
12. Lynches will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, his pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will go unheeded.
13. If you are requesting a mod prod or vote count, please bold your request so that I can see it more clearly.
14. In order to keep this game moving, everyone is expected to post at least once every two to three days and if you do not, you may be replaced or modkilled, whatever your side.
15. In the event of a deadline, if no lynch is made, the day will end in No Lynch
16. HAVE FUN. This is not optional. Not having fun may result in a mod-kill
17. Lastly and most importantly. Respect us and the rest of the players and I hope I do not have to modkill anyone.
I love Joboman, Poggy, Niv, and Vezok, because, while they may not be the best players, they still try to win. Having fun is the most important thing to a game, but I've learned that if you don't try to win, then you're ruining everyone else's fun.
"Welcome, candidates. I trust you've all gotten your private orders for this exercise. That should tell you all you need to know for now."
"Oh, and this room you're in is stocked with all the amenities you could need: a refresher in a closet in the corner, chairs, tables, heck even a washer and dryer for you to-"
"Wait, why did we give you a washer and dryer? Don't use those. KELL! Why the heck did you give them a washer and dryer?"
*Loran pauses for another second*
"Ah well, just...don't take your clothes off to start using them....this should really be a simple exercise. Anyhow, all of the chairs, tables, etc are all bolted down the floor for your convenience...to make sure no one gets all out of hand."
*Loran looks at his watch.*
"And that's it. Let's get it started. It's Day 1.....now. Now if you'll all excuse me, I'll leave you to your own devices."

As the only member of the original Rogue Squadron, Cantripmancer has it on good authority that Cantripmancer's opinion is weighed twice as heavily as anyone else's, so:
Vote: kpaca 'cause I must, and Vote: MandersHex for the OMGUS luls.
I see you sputtering mafia terms and trying to hide that your initial vote was terrible.
How was it terrible? Was the person I chose completely random? No, not completely, but that is obvious. The vote, itself, is completely random though, meaning that there's no malice or desire to see him lynched behind it.
Counterbet: You're either the lyncher or scum because you mentioned the lyncher.
You'll lose. Even before I knew I was in this game, my worst fear was that you would be the lyncher and I would be your target. So, yeah, having you jump on me for some ridiculous bull☺☺☺☺ like you have already makes me think my fear may have come true.
How was it terrible? Was the person I chose completely random? No, not completely, but that is obvious. The vote, itself, is completely random though, meaning that there's no malice or desire to see him lynched behind it.
You were planning on voting Cantrip before the game started. That is why it is a terrible vote.
Your reaction to being called out on placing a terrible vote is why I am pseudovoting you.
Your first votejump was because you were called out on a bad vote. These subsequent votejumps are to make it look like your first votejump wasn't because you were called out on a bad vote.
Right, which is why I asked wtf were you talking about, but yeah, I did explain why I voted him. So? I answer accusations against me.
How about you answer why you think Seppel is the lyncher and not me?
I only have a gut feeling he could be because, as I already explained, that idea was in my mind before the game even started.
I just think you're scum barning someone you think could be town (because he's not your buddy.)
How about you explain why you think he is a lyncher and not just scum?
Again, I'm not convinced he's the lyncher. If he's not, he's probably town, based on a gut read. What he's doing is putting me under pressure as soon as possible so that he can get a read on me. He does this regardless of alignment (and with there being two scum teams, he could actually be scumhunting and still be scum), but something tells me he's not scum. It's still pretty early, so none of this is set in stone, but these are my initial reads.
How about you explain why you are concerned with hunting Not-Mafia- instead of mafia.
Well, this particular not-mafia player can end the game if he gets the right person lynched, and he knows which person he has to get lynched in order to win the game. That is a hell of a lot more detrimental to the town than any SK and I don"t think it's a crazy idea for him to garner as much attention as the mafia.
If I'm wrong, veterans feel free to correct me.
And, since RVS is officially over:
Unvote; Vote: Shalako for his opportunistic barning of Seppel, who I'm leaning is just wrong.
That's up to you. I tell you what I want if I win and you tell me what you want if you win.
What if I can't think of anything? Wait...are you allowed to abuse your MafiaScribe powers and bump me up on hosting lists?
Quote from Manders »
You already know what I want, though.
I figured this went without saying. But the question is would you use my perception of how badly you want it to WIFOM me into thinking that you are or are not of a particular alignment this game to win, figuring that there's always next time?
You know, I'm allowing PM Quoting more or less as a joke, as it should be pointless in an open-setup. But trying to use it to take advantage of a mod screwup (I had the wrong town win condition in the Rules at first) is just plain wrong.
Cut it out.

Manders, you're seriously harshing my random vote buzz.
Wasn't me. It was Seppel.
What if I can't think of anything? Wait...are you allowed to abuse your MafiaScribe powers and bump me up on hosting lists?
What good are having powers if you can't abuse them?
(But, no, I wouldn't do that)
I figured this went without saying. But the question is would you use my perception of how badly you want it to WIFOM me into thinking that you are or are not of a particular alignment this game to win, figuring that there's always next time?
How would that have any effect on my alignment? I would try to make a bet with you regardless of alignment.
I find it really bad that your own number would come up in random.org right at the point that you got called on your vote process.
ikr?
EWP @Shalako: What do you mean "it's not there anymore"?
In Gabriel High School Mafia, Guardman had a similar situation in his OP. I was scum. I got pushed to claim range. I claimed the wrong town WC. I was lynched.
I don't care who "ended" RVS; you were the one who seemed to be seriously questioning my claiming to have two votes in an open-setup game. :shakesfist:

Would you like to explain why you felt you had to use it?
[Mafia Stats] Mafia MVP: 1/3 Basic #29,Co-[CCMV]
Most of the time I murder the random stage.
Sometimes I get stuck in it.
I was stuck in it.
You are scummy for declaring the random stage dead.
[Mafia Stats] Mafia MVP: 1/3 Basic #29,Co-[CCMV]
Why?
[Mafia Stats] Mafia MVP: 1/3 Basic #29,Co-[CCMV]
I always use it. I just don't always announce it.
It was dead when Seppel threw his serious vote. You are reaching to make me seem scummy.

I'm convinced she's scum. Are you?
I don`t like how she didn`t yell about how scummy I/seppel is then vote one of us while yelling about how scummy we are.
I don`t like how She has used an overabundance of mafia terms.
I don`t like how she doesn`t appear to be frustrated with people voting her.
I don`t like how she only voted me after you stated that she would normally be voting someone attacking her by now.
Manders:
Town win con?
[Mafia Stats] Mafia MVP: 1/3 Basic #29,Co-[CCMV]
Disregard win con question.
[Mafia Stats] Mafia MVP: 1/3 Basic #29,Co-[CCMV]
What if I can't think of anything? Wait...are you allowed to abuse your MafiaScribe powers and bump me up on hosting lists?
I figured this went without saying. But the question is would you use my perception of how badly you want it to WIFOM me into thinking that you are or are not of a particular alignment this game to win, figuring that there's always next time?
I find it really bad that your own number would come up in random.org right at the point that you got called on your vote process.
EWP @Shalako: What do you mean "it's not there anymore"? And what's with the reverse apostrophes?
As such Righteous Thunder has spoken.
Vote: Shalako

You know, I'm allowing PM Quoting more or less as a joke, as it should be pointless in an open-setup. But trying to use it to take advantage of a mod screwup (I had the wrong town win condition in the Rules at first) is just plain wrong.
Cut it out.
Logical Reasoning is dead; Long Live Stupidity
Ooo, do we get to name ourselves given the lack of flavor? I'm going to have to think on this...
Ahahaha. Mod spankdown ftl.
In other news, I'm out for the day.
Did you miss the censors? Censors = yelling.
Every single one is valid.
Censors = frustrated
Add misrep to the list of mafia terms I've used.
Seppel made that comment here:
Let's see what votes I threw after that:
Then Seppel did this:
So I did this:
So, Seppel making that comment had no effect on me making that vote.
No, not going to do it. You will look like a jackass.
Win Condition: All scum (and the lyncher) must be eliminated.
Wasn't me. It was Seppel.
What good are having powers if you can't abuse them?
(But, no, I wouldn't do that)
How would that have any effect on my alignment? I would try to make a bet with you regardless of alignment.
ikr?
In Gabriel High School Mafia, Guardman had a similar situation in his OP. I was scum. I got pushed to claim range. I claimed the wrong town WC. I was lynched.
He's being a jackass.
If the natural flow of the game is for the random phase to end early, why would you want to ignore it?
Hmm....I'm gonna have to go with Walker, Texas Ranger. That guy kicks so much ass, his chin kicks more ass than me.

I don't care who "ended" RVS; you were the one who seemed to be seriously questioning my claiming to have two votes in an open-setup game. :shakesfist:
Then you're going to have to come up with something to offer; I won't take a bet just to take it.
Make? Yes. Definitely make with intent to win? Questionable.
Is this the texttalk equivalent of "I care"? (I don't mind texttalk in general, but when communication becomes hindered, it's no longer communication.)
OK
It`s not a misrep.
You only vote me after seppel said that.
After.
After.
Not right after.
Not next post after.
After.
After.
Sorry that was a bit rough.
I just believe in using every advantage I can.Including Mod mistakes.
But that was wrong and I pushed it too far.
Apologizes.
It was you.
You declared that the random stage was over.
[Mafia Stats] Mafia MVP: 1/3 Basic #29,Co-[CCMV]
Ah, gotcha.
Hmm. I'll think on it.
Pfft, if I make a bet, I intend to win.
It's "I know, right?"
As in, it was still totally random. I could have denied it, ofc, but then it wouldn't be random.

Oh, so we're arguing semantics?
Yeah, I didn't make a serious vote until after Seppel said that.
Yes, you are right.
That is, however, the most worthless "scumtell" I have ever seen in my life.
Again, semantics. I didn't end it. I just said it was ended. As it was ended by Seppel. So what?
