I've been playing this deck for a while now, and I thought I should post it. Most Azusa decks I've seen are just 50 lands and some creatures. I don't play that. I play fast fatties. I have two combos, but other than that, I just play to kill.
I play in a league. I'm the only mono colored deck in the league, so I play hall of gemstone to stop them from playing their generals and usually combo-ing off. A friend plays a niv-mizzet deck, hence the sword. A play against 2 (yes 2) near death experience decks, so I have cloudthresher. I do run the strip mine combo (kinda have to). Dosan means my stuff doesn't get countered and I have an eldrazi for my woodfall primus/melira blow-everything-up combo. Veldalken orrery is great for dropping big dudes at the end of people turns.
Also, I know I only run 33 lands. It's not much. I'm never mana screwed because of vernal bloom, caged sun, gauntlet, and medallion. I usually have way to much extra mana, hence the ant queen (why not make babies with all this extra?). Also, board wipe is common where I play. Usually I get the field wiped by (insert wrath effect card here) and I rebuild within 3-5 turns. The only thing I can't come back from is heavy land destruction without card draw. That's why I have heartwood storyteller (amazing in multiplayer) and mind's eye. This deck wins in 1 vs. 1 and puts up a hell of a fight against control. The only thing that constantly beats it is fast combo (like Uril). Otherwise, it will usually outlast its opponents if it is not dealt with soon.
Bonus points if you sit down at the table and everyone goes, "phh. That's a green aggro player. That's harmless," and then proceeds to ignore you as you build up a small army, then drop an ulamog (I mean hard cast) and wreck face.

Now to explain some of the odd balls:
I play in a league. I'm the only mono colored deck in the league, so I play hall of gemstone to stop them from playing their generals and usually combo-ing off. A friend plays a niv-mizzet deck, hence the sword. A play against 2 (yes 2) near death experience decks, so I have cloudthresher. I do run the strip mine combo (kinda have to).
