This is my second revision of the deck, after I actually came to own all the cards in it. Tightened up the decklist to be more focused/on theme.
The main goal of the deck is to wait out the early to mid game by playing various spot removal cards and/or wraths, or skip the midgame and make ridiculous amounts of mana with one of the five mana doublers in the deck. It then proceeds to either steal all the opponents threats, or play some respectable threats of it's own. There is plenty of carddraw, for obvious reasons, and some defensive cards to keep you alive, although non-removal defense is not mono black's strength. By no means am I an experienced EDH player (this is my second paper EDH deck), so feel free to tell me if I'm overlooking something or overvaluing some cards.
Underachievers: Barter in Blood: Most of my creatures are fatties, so often this almost wraths me, while it doesn't hit my opponents as hard. Skullclamp: I'm not playing cards that allow me to abuse clamp, but it is nice to get a 3 for 1 on opponents removal, draw two after a wrath, and shorten Geth's clock by a turn. It is only a 1 mana investment, so it's probably still good enough, but it hasn't been the nuts like in a token deck. Grave Pact: Haven't played the card too many times, but often it dies before doing anything. The best thing it does usually is kill those pesky indestructible creatures or give opponents a reason to attack someone else. It'll stay in for now, but it hasn't been the best thing ever.
Strong performers: Loxodon Warhammer: Helps you dig yourself out of the whole that some of the card draw/lack of early game can put you in. Tightens Geth's clock to three, and gains at least 8 life on all the creatures in the deck. At worst, it draws an artifact removal spell. Praetor's Grasp: Sometimes it's better than a Demonic Tutor. Steals whatever you want, allows you to play it, and if someone kills it, you can recur it with Geth. So good it's amazing. Sorin Markov: Wins you games you have no business winning. You can be dead next turn while your opponent is at an obscene life total, and out of nowhere tutor up/play a Sorin+Phthisis and win. It can also pick off annoying utility creatures. But, you already knew that. Kuro, Pitlord: Again, wins you games you have no business being in, especially the less players at the table. It can machine gun any creature your opponent plays while you beat down with all your fatties. While being a 9/9.
Cards I Have Laying Around That Could Fit Into The Deck Rather Well Given An Opportunity But Not Sure If Are Better Than What's In The Deck, Bolded Cards Being The Ones I'm Strongly Considering: Bloodchief Ascension: Gains life. Lots of life. For cheap. Can't activate it early on my own though. Coldsteel Heart/Fellwar Stone/Star Compass: 2 rocks that cipt and tap for B. If I feel the need, they don't serve a purpose beyond tapping for 1. Reckless Spite:Ashes to Ashes, that destroys rather than exiles and for nonblack instead of non-artifact. Been fighting with which/if to include one/both. Bloodghast: It can't block, but has some cute synergies with a lot of the deck. Doesn't do much though, frankly. Wound Reflection: Looks like fun. Seems like it could easily paint a target on your forehead, but at the same time doubles the damage that your opponents can deal each other. I'd rather have my 6 drops do something when I play them though, especially considering there are so many of them Steel Hellkite: Really, really good. Kills those pesky artifacts and enchantments, has firebreathing... But I need to find something to cut. Sundering Titan: A staple, but my playgroup doesn't own any non-basics that it can destroy, which immensely hurts its power level. Also, it's more mean than anything, never seems to do much after hitting play. Pestilence Demon: 7/6 flyer for 8 with a decent ability. Probably not good enough though. Journeyer's Kite/Armillary Sphere: Being able to play a land every turn is critical in this deck, especially when you don't have a mana doubler out. Journeyer's Kite reaps more benefits over time for a lot more investment, and Armillary Sphere is a one-shot for two swamps. Both seem great, but not sure what I would cut to put them in.
Cards That Should Go Die In A Horrible Fiery Death: Homeward Path
.
.
Here's my Mono-black EDH deck. Still needs to be tuned a bit, but basically the idea is to play a few ramp cards into some black good stuff. Has some draw cards/engines, some wraths, and a few general good stuff cards. Still deciding between Geth and Drana, but if one is the general, the other will be in the deck. Geth seems better, but Drana is also very good. Might keep both an option and try each.
Cards that might/will go if I get them: Lightning Greaves Sol Ring($) Damnation($) Kozilek($)/Ulamog($)
Considering Putting In: Bloodchief Ascension: considering, but it doesn't seem good enough, draws hate. Reckless Spite: Ashes to Ashes, but for nonblack creatures, and only destroys. Not sure if it's worth it over the other removal spells. Butcher of Malakir: A cheaper (pricewise), 5/4 flying, reanimatable Grave Pact. Seems good. Pestilence Demon: Pestilence on a stick. My creatures are all pretty big, so it can be used to my advantage. Thran Dynamo: Taps for 3 Basalt Monolith: Combos with Rings of Brighthearth, taps for 3. Journeyer's Kite: Fetches a land a turn. Its been good in other EDH decks I've tried without card draw, but not sure for this deck. Armillary Sphere: Basically a 4 mana draw two. I keep seeing it in Mono B decks, not hard to get a hold of, so I'm putting it on my radar.
Considering Taking Out: Slate of Ancestry: Costs a lot, don't have many creatures, usually have some spells I want to hold on to. Would like to put a comparable card draw engine if there is one. Mask of Memory: Requires you to get an attack through to draw, rather be dropping a ramp spell turn 2, have plenty of draw. Does have good synergy with the recursion though.
Again, any suggestions would be appreciated. This is a mostly for fun deck, which is why I'm playing so many splashy creatures!
It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long, the grasshopper kept burying acorns for the winter, while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. But then the winter came and the grasshopper died and the octopus ate all his acorns. And also he got a racecar. Is any of this getting through to you?
I've tried both Drana and Geth as my commander, love 'em both. I think Drana is better when you find yourself in a duel, and Geth might have an edge in multiplayer but I've gone back and forth several times. It's close either way. I change it up a lot.
A few you might consider: Nether Traitor is great additional fodder for Skullclamp and a Grave Pact Trigger. He also becomes a total beast with Lashwrithe or Nightmare Lash as he's nearly unblockable.
Steel Hellkite is another great pump target and can help deal with enchantments/artifacts.
Rings of Brighthearth! Copy Basalt Monolith's untap ability for infinite mana, or just cheaply copy Drana/Geths ability, or Helldozer, Strip Mine, either Planeswalker.
I've got a decklist in my sig if you're interested in checking it out. Might give some ideas.

Nether Traitor seems just better than Bloodghast actually, thanks for pointing that out. I'll put one in if I can get my hands on one.
Exsanguinate... Seems amazing in a big edh game, not as good in the 1-2 player edh games I tend to get involved in. Considered, maybe it'll go in over a card that isn't performing. If I ever decide to add some combos, seems like a good finisher.
Rings of Brighthearth: I just don't think I have enough cards that it interacts with, and can often sit around doing nothing, especially considering I have tons of things to do with my mana every turn, with tons of mana sinks and card draw. Edit: Coming around to the card, put it in the maybe pile.

I've been thinking... Should I add some land search, like Journeyer's Kite or Armillary Sphere, because of the 4x swamp mana doublers? Or should I keep all the 2cc mana rocks? Should I add more of the Thran Dynamo type mana rocks? Maybe even some more big mana cards, like Doubling Cube or Black Market? None of the ideas are bad, which is why I'm struggling with them so much.

Cool list bud, I'm a huge Geth fan personally. One card that's missing and should be an auto include is Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth. Is that just a financial issue, or is there a specific reason for exclusion?
Also, why did you mark the value on your cards ($3 and up)?
Cheers!

Well, Urborg doesn't really do much when most of my lands are swamps anyways, it turns on my Gauntlet of Power/Extraplanar Lens for everyone else at the table, and it dies to vesuva/wasteland. Does more harm than good usually.
As for marking the cards, it's mainly because I was making it as a budget deck. Not sure how much it would accomplish, but hey, maybe someone will appreciate it.

and another main card you might be missing which is good for a geth deck is Amulet of Vigor .
The recurring guys were generally underwhelming when I played them, as they did basically nothing (especially bloodghast) when I didn't have a skullclamp. Nether Traitor is the most useful of the bunch because it wears Lashwrithe well, but still. My deck is much more about playing big mana spells and straight card draw than a little draw engine including otherwise mediocre cards. Maybe, but there aren't enough card slots.

Geth tends to make you a target, considering how insane it is.
I'm open to suggestions.

Beseech the queen, dimir houseguard and demonic collusion are all great budget tutors because you seem light on tutors which is one of blacks greatest strengths. I would cut down on creatures and add more board wipes. I personally stopped playing geth because I just didn't like all the extra time it took to look through graveyards, count up insane amounts of mana and then try to choose what the best play would be in terms of grave robbing while all my opponents wait for me to steal their stuff. It's a powerful general I just didn't want to make everyone wait for me. Still I think with huge amounts of mana and all the good board wipes you're better off play maga traitor to mortals.
Made a major update to the post and deck after getting the chance to play with it.
