Here's another round of the Poetry Running Contest. I realize that I keep pushing the contest more and more back... I'll make more of an effort to get back to the intended Monday start date.
Because votes are not mutually exclusive. While you selected two different entries, your multiple selections still only count as one vote. Each of the two selections are not calculated as two, individual votes.
Amazed I'm even coming close to Clock King and Sam. Great posts this week, both of which touching on the fact that poetry is a visual format- wherein pacing and structure can be played with.
Thank you for the complement, but I really botched this one, I think. ... I liked my own idea, and will be trying it again, but. ... Didn't work out. I wanted to make something you could traverse idly, and it was more intriguing work that didn't coalesce than the feeling I was going for. x.x
I voted for the two short snaps of poems: they were nice.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
my mouth is full of winsome lies -
and eyes are full of death besides
but luckily the soul is wise -
it sees beyond my blindness and
forced failure makes a better guise,
so as i come again alive,
it feels like life's a decent plan
The submissions we have this week are:
Far-Winged Descent by Madding
Letters to Heaven by Zelderex
Flowers in a Moonlit Bog by Clock King
Crystal Lights by kpaca
Rainfall by Sam111111
"She said to me..." by tezzeret12
Contestants, remember, you are required to vote (and you can't vote for yourself)! This policy is to help keep the PRC active.
Good luck.
