For limited purposes, it's difficult for me to determine the strategic value of cards that transform.

In human form, the card is an overcosted Goblin Roughrider, and in werewolf form it's an undercosted Axegrinder Giant. It's hard to make such comparisons because these transform cards operate in a very different way from anything I've had to play with before.

I suppose I'll have to wait and see how well they pan out.

Here are the only 2 illustrations Bud Cook has ever had so he is definitely not someone they use often.
nah, he also did zombie token for m11, and INN's Invisible Stalker and beloved Village Cannibals.

Never seen a piece as difficult to judge as this. Would like to see artist's word on this piece.

Wow..such interesting transform cards. This was totally worth going on out on a limb for.

Why does every second piece of Innistrad artwork featuring some fancy houses look like crappily shopped ones? :/

So much for top down design. The flavour on this card is fairly terrible. On the day side we have a cowering little wimp who is apparently red AND a 3/2 warrior... the night side is fine, he's now a badass red bloodthirsty werewolf, the day side is just so... *sigh*

The untransformed guy looks like a 0/1 creature to me, not a 3/2. He could have been drawn a bit more warrior-like.
