Wow, Forbidden Alchemy is pretty amazing. And in the two best colors for searching, too! The fact that it dumps the other cards into your graveyard just sets up all kinds of shenanigans. Surprised this card is common, honestly, but I'm glad it is.
Nice to see Think Twice back, even if the format had a bit of speed up since then.
I'm noticing a disturbingly high amount of off-colored and overcosted flashback costs in this set though o.O ... i mean, if Think Twice is considered "good" by R&D and thus reprinted, why does a flashbacking impulse need to cost 6B in order to be printable? O.o
Because it's *not* impulse, due to the GY stocking ability.
Solid solid cards... again blue getting some love. That Black rare is pretty sick versus tokens. Corpse Lunge will be an unexpected treat at instant.
@varoan... if a Mod here says they are legit, they have proof. And likely NOT going to share it, otherwise the source would have come forward themselves.
I love commons and uncommons! I only play Limited!
Forbidden Alchemy is pretty sick. Mill yourself 3 and get a good card at instant speed? Very nice.
Think twice used to see play in Draw-go decks, it might again.
A weaker, 4 mana Kalastria Highborn is still pretty powerful in Limited, and flying is nice too.
I know black doesn't usually get unconditional removal, but that last one doesn't need to be rare.
So apparently there is a cycle of uncommons with enemy-color flashback costs? The U/G one is kind of narrow but this is the right set for it to be in. All that's left is Red with blue flashback (presumably some kind of power/toughness switching garbage) and black with white flashback.
Finally we get spoilers at a faster pace, I like these meat and bones cards that are clearly SB or constructed worthy at a lower rarity. I love Think Twice being reprinted if this true, it was always a fantastic card and makes complete sense.
I also play Weiss Schwarz, Chaos, Vanguard and Wixoss.
Weiss Schwarz Sets
Accel World, Angel Beats, Familiar of Zero, Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet, Guilty Crown, Kill La Kill, Robotics;Notes, Sword Art Online.
Chaos Partners
Arpeggio of Blue Steel: Iona, Kirishima, Kongou.
Dangan Ronpa: Asahina, Togami.
Freezing: Vibration: Chiffon, Satelizer.
Vanguard Clans Favoured
Angel Feather, Dark Irregulars, Genesis, Neonecter, Pale Moon, Shadow Paladins, Tachikaze.
Sever the Bloodline sucks though, in most cases it's just a really slow removal. Could have been UC easily...
It's going to be a first pickable card in Limited at the very least. I could certainly see people trying it out in constructed as well since removing 2+ of your opponent's creatures with one card is amazing, even if the flashback is expensive.
Wow, these are real good for limited, this set is looking good.
Why does someone always say this, even when it's not particularly true? None of these cards except think twice are good for limited. The black removal is rare, and corpse lunge is like a 10 pick, the graveyard hate is a limited sideboard card, and the vampire is like "oh god i hope i don't actually have to play this but I will if I can't find any more black creatures"

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.

Forbidden Alchemy is a nice instant speed filter effect as well.
The Blue ones seem pretty good, especially because they have Flashback, so it is technically card advantage.
Thanks to Heroes of the Plane Studios for the amazing sig.
