I set out to make a good Commander zombie deck and after looking at all the available and flavorful generals I decided to go mono-black and convert my Balthor, the Defiled deck into the Walking Dead. Having the deck converted to a tribal theme weakens it in the "competitive" aspect, but I am thinking it will still be viable.
I wanted to have enough creatures to make Balthor's ability worthwhile, and to make enough of them be zombies to make it feel like a tribal deck. One of the problems I can forsee is a lack of flying, so most of the non-zombie creatures are in to try and make up for this. Any suggestions welcomed.
