You could try to include Chandra's Phoenix and Stormkirk Noble, honestly not sure but I think Forcing in Stormkirk Noble even without being a human may very well be worth it instead of Elite Vanguard, not sure.
Your thoughts on the deck, anything you want to question/get reasoning for?
Not sure if I want Oblivion Ring maindeck or not.
Do I have a chance with all of the removal I maindeck against decks like Mono White Humans with Honor of the Pure and all of their shenanagins? Do you think this is a good matchup for Red White Slight?
Do I have a chance against Puresteal when they run 8x Enchantment enhancers? I mean....12 maindeck spot removals if you don't count Lavamancer, I beat really fast even against them and I board into Manic Vandal which sets the tempo high in my favor. Do you think this is a good matchup for Red White slight?
I'd like 3 Hero of Bladehold in my sideboard for Red based decks for resilience against removal and slagstorm. Vulshock of course helps a lot but I assume they will have them too granted mine better since I run a lot of non red creatures to take theirs out.
Red decks wins, seems really stale game 1 we will be killing off eachothers creatures and I'm scared they'll win off Koth and Shrine, Oblivion Ring seemed like a nice answer to Phoenix, Koth and Shrine too even. With 4 Vulshok and 3 Bladehold how do you think this matchup will be?
I'm confident, Pod, Heartless Summoning and Midrange decks will be extremely good matchups.
Opinions, is Oblivion Ring a must in this format with all of the planeswalkers, or is the extra aggression and speed with the removal and act of aggression worth them being in the board or not even in the 75?
What do you see me having good and bad matchups against?
Am I missing something? Why are you running Volt Charge here? I don't see anything to proliferate. You're MUCH better off running Brimstone Volley I think.

It gives the Champ another counter, but I agree that Brimstone Volley is much better.

Degenerate? Sure. Loudmouth? You bet. Law abiding? No ****ing way.
I think the 8 targets, the card has more potential than Brimestone Volley, though definitely questionable as to which is better, I want 4 Arc Trail 4 Incinerate in this list for sure.
Can you guys maybe speak of the questions I stated in the start of this thread...?
thoughts?
im not a fan of brimstone volley in this deck... and reckless waif - well there are way too many one drops in Standard... she barely ever transforms.
and for the records
cure of the stalked prey litterally slaps your opponent in the face with +1/+1 counters
i do think im going to try volt charge and arc trails instead of incinerate and brimstone volley although incinerate isnt a bad card.
Stromkirk noble is a bomb...its surprising how many creatures in STD are human... even outside of ISD.
him plus the curse go unanswered quite a bit and its +2/+2 every turn...
adaptive automation is a bit slow for my deck because im running more than humans... but if it works for you..go for it.
and my SB sucks. i think im gonna try act of treason...
any word on elite vanguard? worth it? no?
edit: also going to try Grand Abolisher in SB
and the only thing in White decks to fear is timely reinforcements... ouch
been testing all day so far, i think this deck needs a mid-late game bomb.
i also find that Phyrexian Rebirth is so much better than blasphemous act/divine reckoning/DoJ/whatever
so ive done some testing. this deck trashes a lot of variations of U/B (draw go, zombies, etc...)
ive been having some issues with U/W and Mono W control variants...
As for the aggro race... this deck usually wins. Against Pod it's too fast for them, against puresteel... its too fast. and we have answers g2/3
mirror match or against the kuldotha version of this.... long games. its trading creatures until someone runs out of steam.
edit: the only issue ive found... is if they wipe the board, im out of gas.... need to fix this
I tweak my RW aggro deck into more steel-like ,with more battlecry package.
This is a cheaper version,-3 wardriver ,+1 mox opal,+2 Hero of Oxid Ridge might work better
Any advice? I think Rally the Peasants is cool as a finishing trick, should be nice to play 2.
cloistered youth (a.k.a. lady gaga) and stormblood berserker IMO are auto includes in RW sligh.. only thing im confused is what should be the ideal 1cc drops for sligh.. here are some of the 1cc beaters available for RW sligh atm..
all of them have their own pros and cons and even gives RW sligh a playstyle change.
i also think that RW sligh is stronger than Wolf run red and RDW. because White has cloistered youth which is a pseudo stormblood berserker with its body and it doesnt need an enabler for it to become a 3/3 like berserker.
Deck Idea/Theme: The point of this deck is to play creatures that buff each other's power and then burst through with a ton of damage. Hero of Bladehold will create additional creatures to increase the threat on an opponent. With the Battle Cry from Signal Pest and Accorder Paladin, the tokens created by Hero will be troublesome to deal with. Even Signal pest will be a problem with enough battle cry. Urabrask is in this deck to speed up my creatures and slow down my opponents. Balefire dragon purpose is to hit my opponent and deal lots of damage to his creatures to clear his side of the board. If he hits, he will be dishing out a Miniumum of 6 damage to each of the opponents creatures (probably more from battle cry). Curse of Stalked prey makes any creature that hits bigger and more of a problem.
I have Incinerate and Brimstone Volley to deal with my opponents creatures in order to allow my army to hit. Oblivion Ring is included to deal with permanents that can't be burned or are to big to be burned. Rally the Peasants provides a power boost to further increase the damage dealt.
Silver-Inlaid Dagger: Aside from the fact that I'm too poor for any of the swords, Dagger is pretty good for what it is. Cheap to drop, cheap to equip and gives humans +3/+0. I'll take that.
Grim Lavamancer: Late game reach. After a board sweep, chances are you have already gotten a lot of damage through. Lavamancer is a great way to finish of your opponent with all that fuel sitting in the graveyard.
I'm only running two of each of the heroes to keep my curve down. But if I felt like I needed more, I'd had another Hero of Oxid Ridge.
All my competitiveness was drained from me after playing UW Aggro at Louisiana States, so this is my fun deck. Haven't tried it at FNM yet, but in testing with friends, it's working out pretty well.
Edit: One more thing. I'm not completely sold on Cloistered Youth. Perhaps I'm just missing something.
By the way, why is Cloistered Youth known as Lady Gaga? I think I'm missing the reference. haha
because she turns into a little monster I suppose.
Also this is my Human-Themed list. Its close to a 20/20/20 list but realized Hero is kinda a need for this deck against tokens and the like it became 20/22/18.

I prefer the Battlecry Version of this deck. It is a mix between Tempered Steel and Boros (Hero's battlecry deck) but without any of those Archtype's most important cards.

Try a few Tezzeret's Gambit. You get two cards, your Champions, Stormbloods, Stromkirks, etc, get bigger. I think it's worth the life investment.
(They can kill you, but the legalities of eating you are quite a bit dicier).
reckless waif, champion of the parish, stromkirk noble, elite vanguard and doomed traveler..
all of them have their own pros and cons and even gives RW sligh a playstyle change.
i also think that RW sligh is stronger than Wolf run red and RDW. because White has cloistered youth which is a pseudo stormblood berserker with its body and it doesnt need an enabler for it to become a 3/3 like berserker.
and also with pod decks and RDW rampant, since we can run stony silence and timely reinforcements, we could prove to have a slightly higher edge with those matchups. and the ever trusty oblivion ring for tree of redemption(surprisingly some decks run it in their SB against Red based decks) and wurmcoil engine
also do you guys think that midnight haunting should be run MD?
