that is a glove on his hand it's blood if you look closer and is it just me or does that girl look like lili ( I don't think it's lili but the purple dress sets the idea)

Interesting, prefer the Deschamps cover to the original. Either way may have to pick this up to check out the storyline.

After looking at the lore... I now wonder if that's Baltrice on the alt cover. Considering Tezz gave her a necklace to make her immune to mental domination, it would be a nice haul for a master thief.

why would he be blue red white sounds like a better colour for but i can see blue

Hey, at least Dack represents the first male planswalker in a couple years to have a hair/sideburn package somewhere between the Jean-Luc Picard and Isaac Asimov ends of the spectrum.

So apparently the dagger from his Treasure Hunt promo art has some story behind it, if he's using it here.

I'm starting to like the idea of a Dack planeswalker card a little more, just in that he seems somewhat Gideon/Sorin/Garruk-ish. Sure, he can cast spells and planeswalk, but it looks like he does more than just sling spells and summon stuff.

Although the backstory makes it seem like an Innistrad-bock appearance is kind of unlikely. Doesn't sound like the "who destroyed my hometown" plot will fit in that well, since he certainly doesn't seem like he's from Innistrad. That means that he'd either be hunting on his own plane, or hunting a planeswalker. And we already have Garruk chasing Liliana, Nissa chasing down Sorin, and Sarkhan chasing after Liliana, sort of. That's enough planeswalkers hunting other planeswalkers (potentially) in Innistrad for the moment.

He very much looks like he'll make an appearance in the 'new Ravnica' block. The buildings on the comic look Ravnica-esque, we're going back to Ravnica, and what better place to steal things from? It seems to add up.

It has been confirmed that Ravnica is not being revisited in the next block. While the block may resemble Ravnica, saying that it is Ravnica is false, and we can't speculate anytime in the near future whether or not it will carry mechanics/cards/etc. over from Ravnica.

Love that alternate cover. Very Prince of Persia-esque.
