The deck is built for both Trostani and Rhys. The better, quality angel token producers work well with Trostani's populate while the smaller, quantity soldier tokens fit into Rhys's ability to swarm opponents with incremental damage.
Part of the reason I like Trostani to lead the deck is because she can populate the angel tokens that are otherwise hard to multiple like the soldiers are. Other cards like Rootborn Defenses were chosen because they serve a function while copying potential tokens.
Looks pretty good. I do have a few suggestions, and I do apologize because I know that criticism is annoying, but these cards are actually crazy, but may be above budget.
I'm worried that I don't have enough board wipe availble, but I don't know if I've gotten every good land availble to my colors and would appreciate help with that. What are your thoughts/opinions/suggestions/etc?
Looks like you've got a good start. For lands, keeping budget in mind to get the most bang for your buck I'd look into the following:
Terramorphic Expanse/Evolving Wilds - Budget mana fixing if needed. Temple of the False God - It's like making 2 land drops with 1 land. Springjack Pasture - The token producing lands are pretty strong here as they give you something to do with extra mana or after a board sweeper. This also interacts with Mirror Entity for the occasional life boost in response to a sweeper. Stirring Wildwood - It's primarily a mana fixer but it deters small fliers and can chump block large ones and this deck can have trouble with fliers.
Great to see another Trostani commander on here. I am currently enjoying my expierence with her as well. Our decklist is pretty similar except I took the enchantress and heavy on the enchantment route.

Ya, I do the same thing for my Sigarda voltron build. With this deck, I find that I usually have too many mana-hungry things to do in a turn (usually involving what's already on the board), so I tend to hold stuff back until I think my position needs it to be played. If I started putting mass card draw in, I'd be discarding stuff I'd prefer to hold onto. Even 'cantripping' makes my over-sized hand feel bad, especially since I don't have a Reliquary Tower to give it.

Being able to get recursive tokens by using Conjurer's Closet on ETB producers like Geist-Honored Monk, Knight-Captain of Eos, and Captain of the Watch is important to maintaining a constantly growing army, as are constant populating effects from Growing Ranks and Wayfaring Temple.
