Looks to be a new staple of Standard Ramp/Zoo styled Midrangey-Aggro decks.
What's the verdict in the Modern iteration? Does the lack of Forest/Plains/Mountains/Island on it hurt the strength? Does the card provide new credibility to Zoo without U?

zoo doesn't really need blue for credibility that was just to counteract a heavy combo meta. A one of wolf run would be fine. It could help you win the goyf wars kinda like exalted or punishing fires also does.

In life all we can do is try to make things better. Sitting lost in old ways and fearing change only makes us outdated and ignorant.
Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding.

Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned; yet we have not advanced one inch towards uniformity.
What worries me is that between horizon canopy, burnwillows, and wolf run, you have 9 lands that aren't going to help out a large part of your creature base. With that said, I think it's fine to load up on 1 copy, to be switched out with bojuka bog from the sideboard as needed.
Yea it seems pretty valuable for breaking thru board stalls and making all your guys a threat. Even that 0/1 steppe kitty who hasn't seen a land in three turns. If you're on naya colors without tribal flames in your deck, the manabase should have no trouble supporting it.

As you'd probably rather spend mana on creatures, removal, burn, discard, and counterspells, Kessig Wolf Run is a land for the late-game only. That being said, Wolf Run absolutely breaks open the mirror late-game. If you're topdecking lands, Wolf Run becomes very good.
I'd say 1 is the right number. You can grab it with KotR, anyway.
It has won me quite a few games that I normally wouldnt have won due to being mana flooded. Wolf run turns mana flood from an annoyance to something you're ok with. The only problem with it is drawing it in a 1-2 land hand sucks.

I play it in every zoo list I test right now, as it makes every creature a threat, even late-game noble hierarchs. Although drawing it with another land in a one land hand is problematic, it wins more games than it loses by causing you to mulligan. Brutal against control.
What about Skarrg, the Rage Pits? It provides a better return on your mana investment at lower values of X, and the trample is really what you need to push a Goyf through. The toughness boost has been very valuable too.

I've thought about these two lands for a while, but I opted for slayers strong hold as its just been insanely helpful late game, and giving knight vig is awesome.

IDK, it doesn't seem like a singleton could hurt. But you've got to ask yourselves: Does the deck really need it?
