Default Sacrifice and hexproof

If a spell causes target player to sacrifice a creature, if their only creature has hexproof, that will cause them to sacrifice their hexproof creature, right?

Thanks in advance!

Yes because the creature is not being targeted; the player is.

Just to clarify, hexproof would prevent a creature from being destroyed by sacrifice effects that do target the creature, such as Mercy Killing or Sarkhan the Mad.
