[DIS] New Confirmed (!) Rare Cards

Through an anonymous source I got word of some translations of unknown cards. The following cards are NOT YET CONFIRMED. They are said to be ALL RARES. The names as a result do NOT FIT INTO THE ORB INFO.

I can't tell if they are real or not, but they do seem believeble to me and because 'seds isn't online, I will just post them as a "treat" to all those people who have been online today on 'Sally.

If they prove fake, blame me not the hardworking Rumor Mods.

EDIT: Some of the cards do seem to fit the rest of what was spoiled. Demonic Flame seems to fit the "Demonfire" card mentioned in the FAQ and the "Mutative Behemoth" and "Simic Leviathan" have previously been mentioned.

In this thread Windreader already mentioned Wit's end. This could confirm the other cards named in that thread.

Also he mentions the U/W counterspell as Swift Silence.

All the names now fit the Orb and the Checklist so it seems they are all real.

EDIT: I think we can safely say these are real.

At the beginning of your upkeep, sac ~ unless you pay .
Choose a source. The next time that source would deals damage to you, prevent it until end of turn.

Return up to 3 target creature cards in your graveyard with CMC <=1 into play under your control.
Forecast - , Reveal: Return target creature cards in your graveyard with CMC <=1 into play under your control.

Proper Burial , Enchantment
Whenever a creature you control is put into a graveyard from play, you gain life equal to it's toughness.

Govern the Guildless , Sorcery
Gains control of target monocolored creature.
Forecast - , Reveal ~: Target creature becomes the color or colors of your choice until end of turn.

Tidespout Tyrant , Djinn
Flying
Whenever you play a spell, return target permanent to it's owner's hand.

Nihilistic Glee , Enchantment
, discard a card: target player loses 1 life and you gain 1 life.
Hellbent - , pay 2 life: Draw a card.

Wits' End- , Sorcery
Target player discards his/her hands.

Demonfire - , Sorcery
~ deals X damage to target creature or player. If a creature dealt damage this way would be put into a graveyard this turn, remove it from the game instead.
Hellbent - ~ can't be countered by abilities / spells, and it's damage cant be prevented.

Stalking Vengeance , Avater
Haste
Whenever another creature you control is put into a graveyard from play, it deals X damage to target player, where X is the power of that creature.

When ~ is put into a graveyard from play, search your library for any number of creature cards that has a total CMC <=6, put them into play and shuffle.

Simic Sky Swallower , Leviathan

~ can't be target of spells / abilities.

Flaring Silence -> Swift Silence

Dictate Faineat -> Govern the Guildless

Just going off general flavour. And Dictate and Govern being the same.

Stalking Revenger -> Stalking Vengeance.

Wow, cool azorius cards. If these cards are real, I'm a very happy person.That flaring silence is one cool card. The rest is a bit meh, especially if they're all rare.

The Red uncountered Blaze seems very strong. Maybe too strong.
Also the "Mutative Behemoth" is briliant in my Rec-Nightmare deck!

My T4 pile wishes they are true, in constructed I only hope the burn for X is true.

It's better then Blaze, so good enough for T2.

I would say this is worth it, as mid/late counter that counters everything and gives you card advantage.

Does it counter everything before it or everything?

I think it counters everthing on the stack. Although I'm not sure. It's weird that such a card is not listed in the FAQ though...

It looks highly likely these are real as some have been given before with poor wording e.g Wits End, Mutative Behemoth. Nice name there btw Be fond of nothingness.

Smallest but best leviathan yet I'd say, should've been a 7/7 though to get round dragons of the legendary variety.

I would say it counters everything on the stack, as countering things that have already resolved would be a major rules headache.

Also the blaze rocks and ornithopter is tech with that green beastie

Yes, it basically only counters stuff played before it. Any spell played after it (While Flaring Silence is still on the stack) would resolve before Flaring Silence, so it wouldn't effect it.

At worst, it's a Dismiss for 2WUU. Sometimes, it'll win a late game counter war, giving you CA. At best, it counters a gigadrowse for 8, and you win the game.

i just realized that that counter doesnt require a target
and i think that the Dictate Faineant will see some play because it only needs one blue so i think it will be worth it to splash blue for this and it fits nicely along confiscate
End of Wits may just see play in block, ne 1 remember kami block how decks could acctualy use the black myojin and this costs 1 less

You can't compare End of Wits with the Black Myojin. The Black Myojin was a 5/2 indestructable, and was still a 5/2 after you nuked their hand. Not to mention Kamigawa Block Constructed was a pretty slow format.
