Zombies have always been an interesting type in MTG, and with Innistrad they have become more viable with B/U zombies however with Innistrad we received a few zombie token generators.... AWESOME! we also received the magical enchantment card Parallel Lives

The theme of this deck is the same with any token deck Mass produce tokens at an alarming rate.

As you can see the deck is meant for late game as the key cards are fairly expensive, however this deck combos well and should be given some thoughts

The decks primary goal is to overwhelm your opponent with tokens so much that they can't block everything. We have a very strong 1 drop a great Stall card (horde) and a nice 2 drop that spawns fricken tokens!

Our generators though are what we need the most moan of the unhallowed makes 2 2/2 tokens Enldess ranks of the dead adds half the number of zombies we control and spawns tokens equal to that number
and of course the big daddy himself Army of the damned then of course what ties it all together
parallel lives get 1 or 2 compies of this on the field and its typically good game

This deck is not without drawbacks as it is rather expensive in the terms of Converted mana Cost (CMC) but we solve that with our rampers birds of paradise and rampant growth

All in all there are a few variations of this deck that I have seen (Token infect etc)
Opinions? If we get enough support we can be an official deck thread

Yea, I started seeing that last night during a game... I keep thinking though of how it combos with parallel lives lol, but we could take them out for zombie infestation or more removal or made a jade mage or something else that adds tokens

RESULTS OF MY FNM
went 3-1 but against other rogue decks

Game 1: Myr Deck
Open hand nicely 2 diregrafs altars reap parallel moan and land drop graf he drops 2 memnites and ends
next turn drop bird of paradise and diregraf he does his thing. then i drop altars reap my diregraf draw into caravan vigil and ghoulraiser play vigil and ghoulraiser to get my diregraf back
he plays myr superion and swings i take it Next turn drop land and lives and from there its downhill for him
finished up with 36 zombie tokens from army of the damned and an endless ranks

Game 2:
He gets my with memnite and swords
game 3: He gets a 10/10 myr ambush viper it he rage quits


Match 2: Cheap White weenie
Game 1: beefs up and swarms stood no chance
game 2: got the drop on him with diregraf and cemetery reaper. ambush viper helped alot blocked him with tokens and kept making 2 with parallel lives
game 3: he DoJed my tokens and i couldnt recover

Match 3: B/U Control
game one: canceled everything but took to much damage from diregraf and unbreathing horde
game 2: sam scenario: countered but couldnt keep creatures on field to block
game 3: scooped

Match 4: Red Aggro Burn
game 1: burned by turn 5 couldnt set up
game 2: mega burn and chandra pheonix'd
game 3 got him to 3 then he bolted me for game

Ive been experimenting a little with titan and he does work but i dont use him unless i am using zombie infestation, mainly because of the mana curve (with infestation if i cant play him i can discard him and possibly bring him back with ghoulraiser) x.x

I like your list how do you deal with mirran tho?

I was thinking of teching in glissa and working with her a little but i dont see how she works in tokens right now x.x ambush viper is fun though it works as that last little removal. i mean it doesnt always work especially against titans and junk but when you have a surplus of tokens defending lol numbers outway strength

I dont play alot of red but why not galvanic blast?

Also i am considering gravecrawler pretty strongly right now at least in 2s when he comes thoughts?


DKA has some good zombies for those using zombie tokens. I can also see white/green parallel lives decks emerging
EDIT: we are trying to get an official deck tag so lets keep posting and getting others to try our build

True... but its only 1 red mana thats why i suggested it lol I was working on a tri-colored token deck with zombie infestation to discard dead draws
