So I am trying to get my wife into edh. She played magic around 17 years ago for a while. And fills in for drafts when I buy a box but mostly likes to pack war. She knows how to play for the most part. But finds the complexities of magic to be tedious rather then interesting. So I built an EDH deck for her, keeping that in mind. I avoided search cards for the most part. No fetch lands, used artifact ramp rather then green ramp. And picked a deck that is very linear. Play general, enchant, smash faces. She seems to like it so far.
So not redefining the wheel. But is a strong and straight forward deck the wife can enjoy. And in my creature based smashy meta it does pretty well. It is highly interactive with all the instant speed removal and very easy to pilot.
Feel free to make suggestions and question my card choices. Just keep in mind I want it to be easy to play but fairly friendly in a casual meta but still powerful.

Viperesque's Uril build is what my Uril friend plays. Close to 90% of the list I believe - its pretty solid
