I put this together to play against friends on Cockatrice. It's something of the counterpoint to my Ulasht, the Hate Seed deck, very different play obviously, but a lot of the same mentality and cards I have fun playing with. It's still young, so I expect it to see a lot of evolution as I play and tune, and I'd love feedback.
Basic Strategy: Beat your enemies to death with Jenara while using the rest of the deck to make whatever they had planned not happen in the meantime. Toolboxes are about my favorite thing in the world so the deck is filled with them. I'll break down individual card choices soon.
Wow, apparently not only was my initial post riddled with errors but I also managed to misspell the deck title why I was at it. All that has been corrected now, please excuse me for being an idiot :p.
I'm dropping Riftstone Portal for City of Brass. The portal is really neat but it's also a pain in the neck without a reliable discard outlet and I'd rather just go with the guaranteed color fixing than try to play extra tech to accommodate the Portal. I'm coming to the same conclusion about the filter lands as well; ideas on what two rainbow lands I should sub out for them?
I'm also considering a few cards and I'm looking for opinions.
Magus of the Moat -I'm sold on adding this guy in, I just need to figure out what to exchange for him.
Tidespout Tyrant -I like the idea of this guy a lot, he'd give me disgusting board control and utility with the added benefit of being a beefy flier. Still, casting cost is somewhat daunting in terms of color. If I did run him, I'd want to run another guy that rotates with him via Wild Pair.
Yosei, the Morning Star -the most likely candidate to run alongside Tyrant. I don't think I need to sing Yosei's further praises, but at the same time I'm just not sold on if he's the best choice. Off the top of my head Aegis Angel and Consecrated Sphinx both also work in this slot and both offer an equally powerful effect with a different application. Which one is best though? Ideas on other possibilities?
Mangara of Corondor -fetchable via Captain Sisay, playable under Aluren, gets rid of any permanent I can target for good. Still, only a one-off effect and slow if I need the removal on the turn. Doubt I'll run it, but I'm still interested in opinions. Hopefully I can get in some serious play with this soon to see more fully how it fleshes out and offer more indepth thoughts on it's operation.
What's the point of mystical tutor? To grab enlightened tutor? Seem's like a lot to go through just to get one of your other spells that aren't likely to be backbreaking. Mirari's Wake, Hinder, Spell Crumple, while not creatures can certainly do buttloads of work. Stoneforge Mystic could do loads of work with just the addition of a skullclamp and a SoFaI. I personally prefer the artifact mana ramps like Sol Ring, and Mana Vault over a lot of the Birds type creatures. Mentor of the Meek seems mediocre considering the amount of targets.

Hey, thanks for the comments.
Meh, Mystical more often than not it grabs Eladamri's Call or Idyllic Tutor since I can get instant results. Mainly it's a holdout from the concept and early drafts that just hasn't died; originally I planned to run a lot more spells but wound up shifting to focusing on creatures since I've been having so much fun playing with Wild Pair. Truthfully I find both the Mirage tutors to be weak since Enlightened Tutor is best spent on an artifact and I'm never really gasping to get an artifact out usually. Hinder and Spell Crumple are two spells that were in initial builds that got axed, but I'm definitely not opposed to getting at least one of them in the deck so I'll start considering options to cut. I wanna see how Capsize might work as well, I think it could have some fun applications. Mirari's Wake nerfs Wild Pair which hamstrings the deck a bit, and it's also can be a pain to cast depending on what taxes and permission are out (Thalia, Gaddock Teeg, etc). Vorinclex offers the same mana benefit but with the bonus of both a beefy creature and a lockdown effect so I think he's the better choice at the moment.
I actually really like the idea of the Stoneforge and a little toolbox for her. Null Rod is great but I actually think Winter Orb would be a better choice for the spot I could make the switch and add the Stoneforge. Skullclamp obviously but I think I'd rather go with Sword of Light and Shadows for the at-bat equipment since the protections are more relevant and it provides an extra Genesis effect. I'd probably want a third choice as well, just in case. Another Sword then? Darksteel Plate to protect my general when she starts getting big and swinging for blood? Paradise Mantle offers some real fun synergy as well. I'm running the mana dorks over Sol Ring because they color-fix and a lot of our early game is color rich so colorless producers just sandbag. Mantle would consistently manufacture new mana dorks though, and with just the same initial investment as Sol Ring. Worth trying out?
Mentor triggers 25 other creatures naturally in the deck (28 if we count the possibility of a clone) which is actually better than HALF the creatures that work with Aluren, which I intend(ed) to be a driving card in the deck. Hmmm :-/. Think I need to do some retooling in that department. Still, he's been performing very well, but I've also only had him out about four or five times for a consistent length of time so far so we'll see if that trend continues.
