This is my 12 man Common/uncommon cube that I've had for about 8 months. I would like any and all advice on the card choices. Here are some of my rules and themes
1) Any card that has been an uncommon at some point is fair game
2) skullclamp, library of alexandria, and sol ring are banned due to the unfair usage in a number of decks and the inability to funly and fairly come back against a deck starting out with those, though Bazaar of Baghdad is in the cube to help with the reanimator and control deck possibilites.
3)There is a MADNESS! and reanimate subtheme in this cube
4)Cards are organized primarily by the color that they would the player would play it with, for example, treetop village is green because you wouldn't play it without playing green.
5)In terms of multicolor cards, the entire section fits the cube number but not all the color combinations are equal in card number, for example GW has more obvious good cards than RW
6)Some cards might seem forced into their color, and others the exact opposite. It was just a way to make the numbers work. I'm in the process of trying to fix that by replacing the cards with new ones
7)Cards are not excluded based on $$ cost like some other cubes that focus on card under a certain dollar amount (Bazaar of Baghdad, Force of Will, Mana Drain)
Without Further ado, here is the list!
Rewind suffers from a completely different problem from dismiss.
Rewind is a counterspell, which means it is best played on your opponent's turn. But on your opponent's turn the untap effect is much less likely to be useful, minimizing the 'advantage' the card has that makes it cost 4 mana.
Dismiss replaces itself, an effect that makes it a 2-for-1 by definition. I had it in my powered, rare cube while it was 405 cards (9 players). It is quite powerful to stop your opponent's big spell and get an extra card for the next turn.
Since you requested help for combo archetypes, here's my experience with my own C/Ube:
Hardcore do-or-die two-card-combo is impossible to make viable in cube. It just comes together waay to scarcely to justify otherwise dead/bad cards. Instead, try to make synergistic decks viable. That also makes the decks feel different and makes sure that not all cards can be played by all players.
You already have a Reanimator and Madness theme. That's a first step in exactly that direction. (aside: I miss Raven's Crime in your black section. It's good in BG rock to disarm your opponent and it can be used on yourself to discard a fattie, then drop a reanimation spell on turn 2) Further steps in that direction would include a green/white token subtheme, but that's pretty full-fledged in your cube as well, as I see. Maybe Rally the Peasants/Fortify to make it a little more combo-like?
How about a white/blue blink archetype? Flickerwisp is a really good card that you're missing. But apart from that, I can see that you're already running most of the good blink stuff anyway..
That leaves me a little helpless. You're already running most of what I was going to suggest but it's still not good. Maybe your cube is too big so that the specific cards are drowned in a flood of generic ones? Maybe you should cut a few generic cards and go to 495 or 450 or anything in between?
That seems to me the only reasonable way to change anything. Combo is really difficult, especially in that big a cube, so that leaves us with synergy. That is pretty much represented, so either you're happy with it or you cut down.
Specialities about the cube: U tempo, B aggro, R slow-ish are supported. G aggro is not.
Currently trying to support tokens in all colors but blue, in different ways: W pumps them, B sacrifices them, R suicides them, G has decent-sized ones.

Bump in the night is terrible. If you want that kind of effect throw in a fireball or drain life spell. Or Pierce Strider. Or lava axe or something.
If you're trying to go for a madness theme, then where's all of the good spellshapers?
