MTG Salvation

Radiant, Archangel, an Aggro focused deck. I wanted stray away from my group hug Phelddagrif deck, and actually provide threats on the board.

Serra Angel (revised edition), has always been one of my favorite cards ever since I was a kid first getting in magic. Unfortunately she isn't legendary, but I feel after reading around, Radiant fits the job (Lore). The Artwork to me, is pretty gorgeous; and has that feel a lot of the other, older cards I had grown up with.

This deck will be Angel Themed.

Nice looking angel deck. You need some Decree of Justice though.

Luminarch Ascension will get everyone attacking you but if you can get it to last it is on theme and it will just start shooting angels everywhere.

The Crusade effects might be a little weak as well... Have you considered perhaps instead some equipment in their place? Generally speaking equipment are better for EDH when it comes to using some big angels. You want mass pump effects like Crusade when you have tons of tokens. (AHH I see that good equipment is sort of on your wishlist... well if you can get it I think it could go in for the small mass buff stuff)

You might also consider bumping up your landcount by a few lands. It might not be a huge issue but with the main theme being big flying creatures having a few more land might help.

Love seeing a Radiant deck. I also have fond memories of the days of yore...

With a mono-colored and tribal themes deck, I'll strongly recommend looking at Konda's Banner. You'll boost all of your guys like a Crusade effect would at double strength. Although, like was mentioned above, it is less effective if you aren't running a ton of tokens for added support.

Also, if you do get around to adding a Stoneforge Mystic package into the deck, I'd also recommend looking at Stonehewer Giant. I know he isn't on-theme, but he has the tutoring and cheating into play of Stoneforge, but repeatable in both abilities. It is pretty great whenever I've used it.

Since Stoneforge herself isn't really that expensive, figure I'd try her out. Added the Manriki-Gusari since theres 3+ equipment heavy decks in my Meta (Godo, Bandit Warlord, Kemba, Kha Regent, and Isamaru, Hound of Konda). Both the white ones have the Stoneforge/Jitte/Batterskull/Swords package.

I still wanna try out Marshal's Anthem, even though it's still like Crusade. I figure multi-kicker will be nice to try out. Even kicking for 1 I'd image be nice.

I had to reread Luminarch Ascension a few times, I didn't realize that triggers on every one of your opponents. I thought it was like only on yours or something weird when I first skimmed over it. Seems like the nuts in a 4-5 person game.

I have a radiant EDH deck that I built from scratch and I have a good win loss with it in 1 v 1, multiplayer, and mass multiplayer EDH formats. I can tell you now that I see your mana composition is heavy in special land for no reason. I am mainly talking about the lands you have put in just to grab lands. In my honest opinion that is a waste. The only benefit you get from having those lands in your deck is too thin it out, and honestly, has it been working for you in terms of your turn speed? (Playing spells you could have played sooner rather than fetching for plains instead of just drawing plains)

I would also consider adding in Sphere of the Suns. Its just like Gauntlet of Power except Sphere only costs one more and it only effects you, unlike Gauntlet.

I would also consider adding more mana accelerates because most of your spells have a mana cost of +5. My first suggestions are Prismatic Lens, Vessel of Endless Rest, Coldsteel Heart . A Gilded Lotus is an almost auto include.

In white decks, card draw is hard to come by. The only one I can think of is Staff of Nin, but playing more is probably a good idea.

Sphere of the sun is not the right card. What you're looking for is Caged Sun, I hope. Although Sphere of the sun isn't a bad card, I think.

Oops, you are right. I did mean Caged Sun. There are better mana accelerates than Sphere of the sun however IMO.
