Well, apparently there's a push at my LGS to get Pauper EDH to be a thing. I've said a few times here that if I were to ever build such a deck, I'd do Invisible Stalker, so I figured I'd put my cards where my mouth is and see what I could come up with. This is theorycrafting only - I'm not yet sure whether it will be any good.
Not to dissuade from the stalker but have you considered how using Silhana Ledgewalker in its place assuming you can? Not trying to dissuade but it is a decent thought as to how they would differ in playstyle. The ledgewalker is in better colors for creature pump however it can still be blocked by flyers. The stalker gives a better control color but a weaker pump color. Food for thought at least.
You might also cut back on some of your bounce effects. Blue does have some decent lockdown effects such as Mystic Restraints / Narcolepsy which works alright. You might look into some of the similar effects.
EDIT: BTW I just realized you have like no means of blocking... You might cut into your counter / bounce package to include some big fat blockers. My Izzet Guildmage list (link in sig) runs tons of stall that could be helpful as far as blocky wall like creatures. I guess this depends on if this is a multiplayer or 1v1 pauper list? In 1v1 you might get away with bouncing / countering everything but in multiplayer it wont fly.

Since this is a mono-colored pauper deck the mana base is rock solid. I don't think you would lose anything by running the three Panoramas that can fetch Islands, and occasionally they'll interact well with Adventuring Gear.
Has anyone actually done this before? If so, how did it go?
I've done it before. That deck was designed for multiplayer with conventional life totals and general damage limits. Also, I have an unhealthy obsession with making janky cards vaguely playable. Your milage may vary.
Edit: Just noticed that this thread was necroed from almost a year ago. I take back the part about having done this before.

Train of Thought is a good draw effect. I have found it better than a lot of the small Ponder, Portent, Brainstorm effects.

As a side note though I would ask if you can use a common creature rather than telling them which one lol.
