:2mana::symg::symu:, :symtap:: Until end of turn, target creature you control gains Hexproof and becomes Unblockable.
There's a good chance it's way off from this, but this would be awesome. But this is just what I'd like to see out of it.

Since it is still unclear, this card is confirmed here. Speculation was before that, confirmation after.
Post your ideas.
The pattern started by the first 8 was pretty much enabling whatever those two colors were supposed to be doing. (W/U, more tokens; W/B, rewards having token armies; U/R, more looting)
So I guess the question is, what is U/G supposed to be doing in this block?
Plant a seed. Watch it grow.
Hire a snake to plant more trees. Watch them grow.
Blow up a bunch of trees, break a vase when someone tells you not to blow up your trees, surprise the trees are now volcanoes.
Modern- Grapeshot - 79% Legacy- Tendrils of Agony - 83% Vintage- Mind's Desire - 49%, 0/10 Power
Dang, I wouldn't mind a land that gave a creature hexproof. I wouldn't mind at all.
As for my speculation, I really have no clue whatsoever. This is the most difficult land to guess. I figured the U/R land did something like a loot effect. This U/G nonbasic eludes my speculative powers.
UG has seemed to like self-mill so far this block, so maybe a land with the ability "3UG,t: Look at the top 3 cards of your library. Put one of the cards into your hand and the rest into your graveyard."
I'm going on record right now and stating that before the end of 2012 we will see foil dual lands in booster packs (The real, Alpha dual lands). You can quote me on that.
If it's CO, then it will cost more than that one card does.
Also, two of the utility lands already involve card draw. I think it could harken back to Kraj and maybe be a Gilder Bairn effect...but is that too good with these new planeswalkers and infect still around?
They've really been pushing hexproof in the higher echelons of rarity so this makes the most sense to me. Plus it's an ability that is both green and blue.
The main UG strategy of the block seems to be milling yourself and reaping huge rewards with cards like Splinterfright or Creeping Renaissance. However, we already have lots of similar effects in the existing lands (including creature pump, card-drawing, self-mill, and others), so I'm expecting something completely different. Maybe something like this will suffice:
UG,T: Untap target creature or land.
Doesn't seem that strong to me, but it is quite useful and fits both colors to some extent.
Lets Break Miracle Land 1GU, t: Draw one card then put a card from your hand on top of your library. During your next draw step, Time Walk.
hahaha, but seriously, would be awesome indeed.
EDIT: on a side note, you have to think, why would they put a mechanic in the game that is so "random". i know the game itself is random but this is just dumb luck. i honestly believe they have something coming so that you can set up Miracle. maybe thats just me though.
Calling that they are gonna make the UG land unplayable like Stensia Bloodhall just to troll Splinterfright players.
I feel like it's gonna be like Skaab Ruinator, but for other creatures. For example:
UG has a bad mana base already Land UG,T, Exile X cards from your graveyard : Put a creature card from your graveyard on the battlefield under your control with converted mana cost X.
2UG,t: Another target permanent you control gains hexproof until end of turn. Untap that permanent.
I like this idea, but I think it will go either one of two ways: Either it will only be a creature, and it won't untap, OR it will be this but say "noncreature permanent."
I think the UG land will be something resembling one of the following: UGt: Target creature (or permanent) card in you hand gains flash until end of turn XUGt: Put target creature (or permanent) with converted mana cost X from your hand into play.
Personally, I would like to see something like the last with X in it's ability cost to mimic the style of Wolf Run.

Seems unlikely it would both but i could see one or the other for UG2tap
I really hope it's not 'give some guy hexproof'. Blue creatures having hexproof is a big problem in Standard already, and that would just make it so much worse. I don't relish the idea of seeing a deck with Delver and Strangleroot Geist in it, especially if they can just be made hexproof.
What if...

That is quite likely as it would have synergy with Miracle (Use it on your opponents turn).
