I've recently taken a liking to tribal EDH-decks, so I thought I would try out one of my favourite tribes, which also happens to be one of the weakest in EDH, due to mostly being two-drop 2/2's, namely Knights.
As of right now, this deck is R/W, and led by Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer, but due to one of my friends also running Jor Kadeen, and me wanting to add Black Knight to the list of iconic knights i this deck, I decided to make it R/W/B.
Seeing as there are no R/W/B legendary knights, I chose the appropriate Planar Chaos dragon, Oros, the Avenger, even though he isn't a knight, and probably never will be summoned, unless I'm in a really tight spot, he appears to work just fine as a piece of heraldry for the knights.
Well, as said, the restrictions I havde imposed upon myself, says that no non-knight creature can be included. On most other cards I'm not nearly as strict, but it would be great if they were at least a bit on theme. This means that I am using the Ice Age StP, and that I actually bought a foil 7th ed Glorious Anthem, even though I decided to cut it from this version of the deck
I'm not running on a tight budget, but the Plateau is the only real dual I have, and I'm not intending to get more right now, and I would prefer if it didn't break the bank too much. I'm not thinking that anything that could be added to this deck would be very expensive, though.
The deck plays a pretty straight-forward tempo-game, and tries to throw as many creatures and pumps out, and then kill opponents through superior numbers and extra combat phases.
So far, the R/W-version of it, actually works pretty decent, but needless to say, it is far from a very competetive deck.
I love the theme! You list Oros as the commander and then again under your creatures. Did you double count him?
You are missing two very important Knights for a tribal theme: Kinsbaile Cavalier and Haakon, Stromgald Scourge! Haakon is the best reason to dip into black for any Knight tribal deck. However, you will need some way to discard him. Alternatively, you can opt for Buried Alive, which will plonk him into the yard with two of his best buds.
For a general, you say that Oros is kind of arbitrary. She isn't a knight, either, but Tariel, Reckoner of Souls has a more relevant ability (Oros will kill a lot of your own guys!) and you could make a case flavorwise that knights are more likely to follow an angel than a dragon (the archenemy of knights?).
What about the token generating knights of Hero of Bladehold and Knight-Captain of Eos? Yes, the tokens are soldiers... but think of them as "squires". You could even use Squire as the tokens!
To make room, I would cut some of the flanking creatures. Also, Cover of Darkness isn't really knight-like, and Fury of the Horde is just bad. You already have Waves of Aggression, so that right there should be enough for the extra attacks you want.
Wow Gurst, thanks for the suggestions. You are indeed right, I had listed Oros twice, and for some reason Kinsbaile Cavalier had gone missing. I was completely sure it was in there.
Haakon and In the Web of War are both great suggestions, those are sure candidates. Lim-Dûl's Paladin, which was in there to begin with as well, is too awesome of a card (and one I'm sure no one in my group has ever seen) not to include. What to cut for it, though?
I'm a bit torn on the issue of the Flanking creatures, though. It seems like I sort of have to go a bit "all-in" on this, or lose it completely (Cavalry Master) if I want to do it right. Thoughts on this?
I agree with Bismuth on the relevance of Fear, and I think that fear can be construed as on-theme, even if the card isn't. Also, no one in my group plays black, apart from me (I have a Drana deck, that I haven't typed up yet, as well), so it can definitely be useful. Sadly, this pretty much rules out the Lightwielder Paladin.
I had put Fury of the Horde in, because it was potentially free, but in a three-color deck, I can see how it might be out-classed. For some reason I thought of it, as demanding only one pitched card.
Looked over the list several times to make sure I wasn't just missing her, but Hero of Bladehold seems like a pretty good include, and she's come down considerably in price.
Yeah, she is at a much more reasonable price-level now, than she was when I built the deck. She is indeed a fine addition, and she should be in there. I just didn't want to drop a lot of money on this, honestly, janky-as-**** deck.
This looks like it could be a fun deck. The suggestion of Tariel as commander is cool too. I might have to give this a try myself. Since a lot of the Knights are human, I think Riders of Gavony could be included. Granted, it is EDH but you can't deny that protection from a certain creature type is bad, even if it is just some creatures, plus it is a 3/3 vigilant. From Innistrad block, how about Hanweir Lancer or Silverblade Paladin? Soulbond with Hero of Bladehold has proven to be a bit a sore spot for those that go against it, I successfully managed that in a non-EDH game and my friends just hated it, though I think Kabira, once leveled enough, could help make it even worse for them. Spectral Knight may not be a bad addition either.
With regards to changing the commander to Tariel, it would surely mean that I would cast my commander from time to time, as she might be very useful. Dragons are, however, more Knight-y. But you guys might be right. She's better.

Yes, Spectral Rider, my bad. It's a cool deck idea, I'm pretty new to EDH and Magic in general, just over a year, but I have found that there's a lot of fun to be had in EDH and I just have not explored it as much as I should. Let us know how it goes with Tariel as the general if you make that change.
Knights definitely need Swords to pick up and carry into battle! I would suggest adding the other four Swords of X and Y to your list (if that can fit into your budget, of course). You could also add cheaper things like Sword of Vengeance.
For cuts, I'd consider the following:
- Mana Echoes: seems like more of a combo card, just feels a little out of place here.
- Lost Order of Jarkeld: just seems a little too vanilla.
- Kulrath Knight: not much synergy with the rest of your deck, you don't have any ways to take advantage of his static ability.
- Haakon, Stromgald Scourge: He's totally on theme and all that, but you don't actually have a way to get him in your graveyard, so unless you get lucky and someone else helps him into the yard, he's just going to sit in your hand/deck and not do anything for you.

I've been really enjoying Fervor in my Jor Kadeen deck
Mass hand or land destruction is a good way to compete with decks that play larger threats

Another "knight" card that also rocks: Elspeth, Knight-Errant
From the new set, Slayers' Stronghold is on-theme and relevant.
Some other good knights: Kabira Vindicator (doubles as an anthem!), Student of Warfare (comes out fast, gets mean), Riftmarked Knight (why settle for one knight when you can have two?), Lightwielder Paladin (knight-based removal). Not quite "good", but certainly interesting is Lim-Dul's Paladin. He also serves as a discard outlet for Haakon.
What about the token generating knights of Hero of Bladehold and Knight-Captain of Eos? Yes, the tokens are soldiers... but think of them as "squires". You could even use Squire as the tokens!

IMO, In the Web of War is better than Fervor, and maybe more on-theme.
Kuro, Pitlord - Life Gain/Drain MBC
Malfegor - Discard and Punishment
Ghave, Guru of Spores - Fungus Tribal
building Dralnu, Lichlord - Arcane Draw-Go
I wouldn't cut the Cover of Darkness, IMHO. All these small knights desperately need some type of evasion to get through all the fatties.
Agreed on In the Web of War.

I don't know if that's worth mucking up your mana-base for, though. Gatherer only gets 26 hits for blue or green knights, and most of those are trash:

I guess if you really wanted to go that route, though, Court Hussar, Ethersworn Adjudicator, Knight of the Reliquary, Rafiq of the Many, and the various lieges are the only ones that I would start to consider for addition.
