I can't believe anyone is excited about this card. It is absolutely unplayable. I wouldn't even play her in LIMITED. Easily the worst walker printed since the green elf one. Absolutely terrible.
It's not just you. Sounds to me like it could be some kind of W/R land. Possibly a continuation of the Celestial Colonnade cycle or the Razorverge Thicket cycle?

Would seem odd if they made one land out of a cycle into a promo, but I guess they did it with Valakut in the past, so who knows. I can't really see them doing that with a cycle of dual lands..

By comparison, M12 and Scars had:
Dragonskull Summit and Blackcleaver Cliffs (RB)
Drowned Catacomb and Darkslick Shores (UB)
Glacial Fortress and Seachrome Coast (UW)
Rootbound Crag and Copperline Gorge (RG)
Sunpetal Grove and Razorverge Thicket (WG)

So its my belief that M13 will finish the Innistrad lands with new matching dual lands for their color combos. Cathedral of War is most likely the RW, and if you're particularly crazy it could mean the first set of RTR (274 cards) will have 5 guilds, the 5 colors revealed so far. We know Izzet/Golgari are most likely in (as they're getting duel decks with preview cards) so it matches up pretty nicely.
...You mean 'will finish the Scars lands', right?
Because the Innistrad duals are finished. They finished the cycle of lands created in the M10 lands.
I could see these being as 'finishing' the scars or worldwake land cycles though.
As for 'what guilds are in which sets', I think it is rather apparent that the guilds will not be split between sets for RTR.
This block is going to be as thematically similar to original rav as Scars was to original mirrodin.

They are giving colorless promos so that co color gets favourited? Seems legit. I'm thinking something like Contested War Zone but without the drawback.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.
I'll buy a R/W land speculation. Though it's a disturbing promo rate for White in the Buy a Box promo:
M10 - Honor of the Pure - W
Zen - Day of Judgment - W
WWK - Celestial Colonnade - (W/U) (I'm counting it as one each)
ROE - Guul Draz Assassin - B
M11 - Birds of Paradise - G
SOM - Memoricide - B
MBS - Mirran Crusader - W
NPH - Surgical Extracation - B
M12 - Chandra's Phoenix - R
Inn - Devil's Play - R
DKA - Gravecrawler - B
AVR - Silverblade Paladin - W
I very much doubt that they will continue the SOM fast land cycle in M13, reason being that SOM fast lands have non-generic names that refer specifically to locals in Mirrodin. Those tend to be cycles that WOTC doesn't reprint for lands. It would be like reprinting the Ravnica Karoo lands in a core set.

They can reprint any cards in a core set (Nantuko Shade), so it doesnt matter overrmuch what the names of the lands are.

Nantuko Shade isn't name specific though, it is a shade of a creature, one that I wish they would use a little more often. They have tried to not use cards with specific plane's in their name, although there has been some exception.

Yes, I realize that, but in the past few years, Wizards has actively sought to give dual lands that might see reprints more generic names. Gone are the days of core set duals having Dominaria-themed names. I never said it applied to non-land cards, however.
But it also could be just a Scars of Mirrodin Style White & Red Dual.
Cathedral~> Religion~> White
War~> Red
First thing, assuming shocks really are in RTR, there's pretty much zero chance Wizards is going to print 3 different enemy duals in standard at the same time. Second, dual lands aren't exciting. Third, that would really unbalance the cycle. It's not a big deal for cycles where cards have variable power like the praetors or something, but dual lands do exactly the same thing the others do with the exception of colors produced.

it's the shade of a nantuko though. That's a specific magic race I think.
They have done a BaB promo of a "cycle" in Celestial Colonnade....maybe its enemy color manlands....or dare I say....fast lands? I would love to see me some U/R fast lands...Izzet would be played immediately.
I hope they don't replace the M10 lands! I'm already invested in them!
They have been reprinted three times in a row. They can't be reprinted forever. Their time is up, IMO.
As far as dual lands go, they are certainly far from anything someone could consider an 'investment'.

For a core-set? Highly unlikely that it's part of a cycle.
Clifftop Retreat (WR)
Woodland Cemetary (BG)
Hinterland Harbor (UG)
Sulfur Falls (RU)

They won't print ten duals in one set. Way too many. 10th edition had 10 and was much much larger than current core sets, and before mythic rarity.
