Vote for the poem you feel is the best. Remember to adhere to the "Honor Code" when voting.
While it is understood there is no absolute means to monitor the intent of a vote, we ask each PRC participant to exercise integrity when voting out of respect for the contest:
- Please give each poetry submission an equal opportunity in attaining your vote.
- Please read, or at least skim, all the entries before voting.
- Please do not vote for your friends just because they're your friends.
The Poetry Running Contest puts good faith in its participants to act in an honorable manner.
Contestants, remember, you are required to vote (and you can't vote for yourself)!
Happy voting!
**Interested, new participants should submit their poems here.
Oh man! All kinds of good stuff this week. Any every one of them (except my drivel) deserves a vote, or at least an honorable mention. But I guess Empty and Indefinite resonate with my own life's theme...
I agree with your sentiment of having a tough decision. If I could have cast four votes, I would have, and by god, it was tough trying to narrow it down even to four.
Oh, god ... I don't know. Can I narrow the poems to 6? I may just end up roulette-ing, I have no idea which to pick.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
my mouth is full of winsome lies -
and eyes are full of death besides
but luckily the soul is wise -
it sees beyond my blindness and
forced failure makes a better guise,
so as i come again alive,
it feels like life's a decent plan
Is it just me, or are we behind on crediting the most recent 7 or so PRC winners?
Yeah, it's true, I have been falling behind. I usually update the winners in batches.
I realize that my performance as host hasn't been as up to par as I would like and I've actually been meaning to resign as PRC host for several months now; but, never got around to it because it would mean that I have to update a bunch of things and probably make a thread to find a replacement and everything.
Shoot me a PM. From what I understand of what hosting would entail, I could probably handle it. I'd like to make sure that I can handle the load though, and it'd be nice to make the transition as smooth as possible.
Here are this weeks poetry submissions:
Black Roots by Guilan
Empty by LogicX
Indefinite by Zelderex
Contradictions+Habits by kpaca
In Pursuit of the Dream by Sam111111
Personal **** by Talore
A Bike Ride to the Old Cemetery by BlippyTheSlug

I won PRCs 162, 159 and 158, but have no credit for them in the first post of the submission thread.
On a similar topic, you might think about taking a break from the PRC for a week to set up a new submissions thread and catch up on any missed credit.

Tl;Dr: I'd be willing to take up hosting.
