Ace is a planeswalker who wields black, red, and green magic. His specialties all revolve around dragonkind--they harness the fire, fury, and ferocity of the flying predators.
Unlike most children in the savage shard of Alara called Jund, Ace followed, and succeeded in, both the Dark Climb and the Shamanic Circle. As a result, his battered, blood-stained sword became the focus for his pyromancy and shamanism--often choosing to channel the spells directly through it. When he was called on his first Life Hunt, he recklessly charged up Mount Worldheart, ahead of most of his comrades. Though he was not as physically strong as the berserkers of his tribe, nor as focused as the shamans that raised him, his versatility in combat saw him to the peak of the active volcano. There, he met, and did battle with, Karrthus.
It was a name feared even among the bravest of warriors. But Ace did not know the meaning of the word "fear". He would conquer this foe or die trying. Karrthus pushing him to the brink of death ignited the unique warrior's Spark and made him aware of the extent to which his shamanism could influence dragons. Even the mighty Karrthus could not resist it. When he returned to the Bloodhall aboard the winged predator, his clan expelled him on account of being "too dangerous". The two never set foot in Jund again, Ace 'walking the Multiverse in search of other dragons to practice his shamanism on.

"Never in my travels through the Multiverse have I found a dragon more ferocious than the great predator of Jund, Karrthus. That name is a name feared by hunters and revered by shamans all over Alara. I've seen him decimate entire villages in seconds. Even other dragons cannot help but pause to respect him. When I found myself as the sole survivor of a dragon attack, that was the moment I realized how pointless the Vision Shaman's Life Hunts were. I was in a unique position, being a hardened warrior also well-versed in draconic shamanism. I had to seize the moment. That was when I climbed Mount Worldheart's peak to conquer the dragon. It was not until after my conquest that I could truly appreciate him. Karrthus is the fastest, strongest, and most brutal dragon I have ever seen. His raw power combined with human intelligence is what gives me the title and respect I command today."
Burn away everyone's creatures, then prey upon your opponents from dragonback and roast them to ash. Life from the Loam should usually be a repeatable Ancestral Recall in here.
Big update. Added some juicy cards like Blades of Velis Vel. Hellkite Tyrant is the only real GTC update. Jugan, the Rising Star is bad, I know, but it's in here primarily for flavor reasons. I also want to have a way to deal with pro-red guys.

A mere ten days after the Mending, a young knight of Valeron and a young ranger of Eos made a discovery that would change Alara forever.
List seems like a lot of fun. I do have a few sugesstions.
Have you tried Krosan Drover? Kind of like another Dragonspeaker Shaman, and redundancy is usually good in edh.
Both of the Sarkhans are very worth while in this deck. The Alara one can steal creatures and make tons of dragons while the Zendikar one can kill your opponents creatures and then youcan use Karrthus to kill it.
And the new M14 dragon, Scourge of Valkas, is silly in dragon tribal.
Is Stormbreath Dragon worth it? I don't like that he's just a 4/4, but he can be good against mister happy card draw guy.
I've been testing Stormbreath in my dragon tribal the last week. The only times I've cast him he has faced instant removal so at the very least he scares other players. I'm not sure he is going to stick but after using up $30 of my store credit to get the card I feel like I have to play him.
BTW how has the new legend rule changed the quality of Karrthus as a commander? I shied away from him when building my deck because of the number of clones in my playgroup and decided to test the new pre-con dragon Prossh as the commander.

He's a really bad commander. You basically have to cast him and kill the blue player that turn. I only have him at the helm for flavor reasons...because well, he's basically the king of dragons!
