I started playing Magic seriously in January of 2011 at college. I had played for a few months back when Mirrodin was released, but I never got too into the game. I was reintroduced to it through some friends who drafted. Since then, Magic has become a rather important part of my life and has helped me become good friends with various people. Our playgroup consists of a core 4, occasionally getting up to 6 people drafting. 2 of us, myself included, are Juniors, and the other two are Seniors. We attend UC Berkeley, and are more then happy to meet/play with new people.
I decided to build a cube because I found drafting to be my favorite format. I played Standard for a year, and while I enjoyed it, I was always too busy to frequently attend FNMs and a lot of my decks just sat on shelves. I then decided to build a cube so I could not only put my cards to good use, but also make the best format of Magic even more fun. I built a pauper cube in October 2011, and have been working on this Unpowered cube since March of 2012. This includes getting a list, but also introducing myself to the format by reading a countless number of threads and articles. MTGS has been very helpful in this regard, and I attribute my list to this community. Without it, I can safely say I would have no cube. With that in mind, I would again like to reiterate how new I am to this. I am always open to suggestions and ideas.

1) I would like to add Melira Combo in the cube. Sac outlets and redcap/finks are already in the cube, and at her worst, Melira is a bear. Plus, I like that it does take some set up, unlike the Restoration Angel/Kiki-jiki win which can come out of nowhere and create feel bad moments.
2) I am considering cutting Erratic Portal for another mana artifact.
3) I am looking for one more cut in Red and one in Black to create a hybrid section in R/B.
4) I am considering swapping out Tombstalker for Abyssal Persecutor. I often felt like Tombstalker was over costed and think Abyssal Persecutor could be the top of the curve for a lot of aggro decks.
Welcome to cubing and this forum! Your cube is off to a good start. Thanks for formatting in an easy-to-read fashion. You should probably note which cards are banned for power reasons. That way we don't keep suggesting cards that you don't want to run.
I'm going to meander through your list and comment on stuff that catches my eye; I'm not going to be systematic. If you want specific advice, ask for it and some forum members are sure to respond.
First of all, congratulations on not falling into the trap of having too many multicolored cards. Your cube has just about the right amount. I'd just move Wild Nacatl to green and cut a green card to satisfy my OCD, but what you are doing is fine.
I prefer to run the Phyrexian mana cards in their respective colors. I do this because I think cards should be run where they are best and most likely to be played. Others differ in this, so there is no right or wrong answer.
Bloodline Keeper always looked too slow to me. OTOH, Ob Nixilis, the Fallen is a house and a half. Since you run proxies, you should try Imperial Seal, although the third tutor may not be needed in a 360 list.
I don't have much to say about red. It looks really good. Goblin Wardriver stands out as a bit weak; I'd run Mogg Fanatic instead.
I think you should run another mana rock or two. For one, without moxen and signets, your control decks are going to really be needing them. For another, Tinker decks will need them. Consider Everflowing Chalice, Worn Powerstone, and Darksteel Ingot. I'd think about cutting Lodestone Golem and Erratic Portal for them.
You misspelled Transcendent Master. Also I'd cut it unless it's a pet card. If he gets bolted after you've invested 7WW into him (e.g. while the sixth level up is on the stack), it just seems like such a blowout; also he's very mediocre before getting to level 6.
Mayor of Avabruck seems pretty bad if he doesn't flip. Since you support green aggro, I'd replace him with Albino Troll. Wall of Roots is another great green two-drop you could consider.
How often does Reckless Waif flip for you? As unsexy as it sounds, I'd cut it for the more reliable Goblin Patrol.
Infiltrator is amazing. I'd snap-cut Oona for him in a heartbeat. Both colors have access to better 6-drops than Oona. Neither color has access to Shadowmage Infiltrators.
Perhaps it's just the fact that I Winston draft exclusively with my cube, but if one player is UB then the other is RWG -- which means that the Shadowmage eats any removal right away, while Oona takes a Path or Swords or two red spells to kill. Plus she gobbles most of their creatures, and makes blockers for the rest. I do lilke Shadowmage, though. Eating removal early means that they don't have it later... but so far my experiences with Shadowmage have not been as good as with Oona.
Shadowmage eats any removal right away, while Oona takes a Path or Swords or two red spells to kill.
She costs twice as much mana. I should certainly hope she'd be more resistant to removal than a 3-drop. But she's far worse in comparison to other 6-drops than Infiltrator is in comparison to other 3-drops.
Thanks for the replies guys! First I'd like to respond to what was already said, and then I have a few questions.
@Rantipole:
I prefer to run the Phyrexian mana cards in their respective colors. I do this because I think cards should be run where they are best and most likely to be played. Others differ in this, so there is no right or wrong answer.
I actually agree with you, which is why I placed cards based on the types of decks that would run it. For example, I consider Porcelain Legionnaire to be colorless because an aggro deck of any color will want it. I also consider Birthing Pod to be green because I would expect a green deck with access to many ETB effects to run it. I guess it's just a case by case for me.
Regarding the rest of your suggestions, I would agree with most of them. While I do think Goblin Wardriver may be a bit weak, I am not a fan of Mogg Fanatic. Without damage on the stack, I, personally, don't think this guy has a place in cubes anymore. I agree that I need one more mana rock. Of the three you listed (Everflowing Chalice, Worn Powerstone, Darksteel Ingot), which do you think is the best? I am leaning towards Worn Powerstone, but I'm not really sure.
@Metagame: Thanks for catching my spelling errors. Spelling certainly isn't my strong point, so not being able to use Spellcheck for Magic cards hurts a lot.
I agree with the cut of Mayor of Avabruck. In defense of Transcendent Master, I treat him as a mana sink for aggro decks. I imagine that he's where their curve "tops out" because they can just pump mana into him. With that in mind, do you think he's still too weak? If so, I have no problem cutting him.
Reckless Waif isn't the most consistent card, but she really hurts against control. I do wish there was a better card. That being said, I do not like Goblin Patrol. The echo really backfires against aggressive decks.
I know green needs the most cuts, but I think the creatures that double as artifact removal are one of green's best features. I definitely wouldn't cut Nantuko Vigilante or Viridian Shaman.
@Everyone else: I think you guys raise fair points in favor of Shadowmage infiltrator. I'll try him out.
Now, about cuts. I have listed above the number of cuts I need in each color. Here are my current thoughts. Comments and suggestion as to what else to cut would be greatly appreciated.
White: 6 - Currently considering Austere Command and Transcendent Master to be cut.
Blue: 3 - Currently considering Carnivorous Death-Parrots. I like the card a lot, but rantipole raises a fair point. Without the support, the card is lackluster. I think the lack of 3 toughness prevents it from being the consistent flying blocker that Fettergeist is.
Black: 3 - Currently considering Bloodline Keeper, although if he gets replaced with Ob Nixilis, the Fallen, then I still need 3 cuts.
Red: 3 - None.
Green: 10 - Currently considering Primal Command and Mayor of Avabruck, although I may add Wall of Roots. This section is in terrible shape. I have considered dropping green aggro altogether, but I'm not sure about that. If I do that, then I would also need to cut Loam Lion and Kird Ape. Assuming I do continue to support green aggro though, I need help finding cuts here.
Colorless: 5, but may be 6 or 7 if I add one or two mana rocks. Currently considering Ratchet Bomb and Spellskite.
Multi-colored: Oona, Queen of Fae --> Shadowmage Infiltrator
Just wanted to stop in and say you have a very nice looking cube list. For being the first list you've uploaded to MTGS, the formatting is excellent and the cube is in much better shape than most first drafts of cubes we see. A lot better. It's a much better list than the first cube that I built, that's for sure.
While I don't have enough time to explain each cut here are 11 options to cut in green:
Naturalize, birthing pod, green sun's zenith, primal command, hornet queen, wild dogs, jungle lion, mayor of avabruck, chameleon colossus, mire boa, blastoderm

Mogg Fanatic is great without damage on the stack. He shoots down mana dorks, Confidants, and a ton of aggro critters. Until needed, he picks up a Sword or a Wargear and goes to town.
I think I like Everflowing Chalice the best (pay 0 for it to use a Tinker target that turn) but Worn Powerstone is probably just as good. Tough call. I don't cube with either, so you may want to get more input from the forum.
Ok work can wait a few more minutes here are my suggestions for the other colors
Disclaimer: i've never run 360 so I might be off on a few things
White
Transcendant master, yosei, kjeldoran outpost, austere command, calciderm
Blue
Carnivorous death-parrot, ancestral visions, preordain, sphinx of jwar isle, fettergeist, kira
Black
Bloodline keeper, bloodgift demon, ink-eyes, sorin markov
Red
Goblin wardriver, flame slash, zo-zu, searing blaze
Colorless- passed on this because my perceptions for this section are deviant from the norm
Guild
cut oona for shadowmage infiltrator
Cut edric for mystic snake
When i'm off work maybe I can try and help look at additions too

Why do you need to cut that number of cards from each color?
Op can correct me if im wrong but he posted a '360' list but entered in too many cards for each section. For example in cube info he states there are 50 cards for each color but the green section includes 60 cards, and he is wanting to cut 10 in green. Trimming the fat as he goes I assume.
You know much more about smaller cubes than I do and if you wouldn't mind correcting any mistakes I made in my suggested cuts it would be helpful to the op.

Blast if you're interested in more fun/random/exciting play, Aristocrat if you want a more solid performer. Aristocrat also has to compete with a plethora of great 4cc cards.
Loam Lion if your group plays green aggro, Sigarda if they don't.
Mystic Snake if your decks are more bounce/mid-range/value oriented, Sky Swallower if you're more control/reanimator/natural order driven.

Happy cubing!
Thanks! I'd really like to emphasize how many months it has taken me to get this list. I've been reading these forums and a lot of articles trying to learn as much as possible. I figured there's a lot of information already out there, so it's best for me to learn from it first. This is just the list I'm now presenting to the forum because I'd like to hear the opinion of others. Regarding formatting, that just takes time I suppose.

This is exactly right. The goal is to get a 360 cube, because I don't have one yet.
@rantipole and k2solbri: Thank you very much. I really appreciate the suggested cuts and I'll address them here.
I am currently considering Disenchant, Karmic Guide, and Calciderm. I think Disenchant may be not be needed, and Karmic Guide too weak. The last cut, as others have suggested, was between Knights of Meadowgrain, Calciderm, and Yosei, the Morning Star. I think of these, I'd cut Caliderm, but don't really want to. I'm just not sure what else to cut.
This one is an interesting cut. Two cards that I have trouble understanding are Crystal Shard and Time Spiral. I don't know if Crystal Shard does enough to warrant a spot in here. I'm cutting Erratic Portal, so it only makes sense to me that this more narrow card also goes. Time Spiral confuses me because I don't know what deck wants to play. Giving you opponent an fresh hand just seems bad to me.
B: Mind Twist - I don't like Mind Twist. I find it unfun to play with and don't think it leads to fun, interesting games. I had originally had it in because the number of mana rocks was low, but with an increase in that, I want to cut Mind Twist. A turn two Mind Twist off of Mana Vault for 4 is fun for nobody.
This leaves 2 cuts.
I am definitely cutting Bloodline Keeper. I agree with everyone that is too slow. I want to include Ob Nixilis, the Fallen, but for now, I won't. The next card on my chopping block is Ink-Eyes. If that underwhelms, then Ob Nixilis is getting a shot.
This last cut is in between 2 choices for me: Graveborn Muse and Bloodgift Demon. Generally, I would consider Graveborn Muse to be superior, but it warrants discussing in the context of this cube. The only other Zombies in this cube are: Carnophage, Diregraf Ghoul, Gravecrawler, Sarcomancy, Skinrender, and Grave Titan. Not counting the last two as their mana cost is the same or higher, this leaves 4 additional zombies in the cube. Does that number mean that Graveborn Muse will be better than Bloodgift Demon most of the time? Is it worth adding one mana to get 2 more power and evasion if they will function similarly most of the time?
This last cut is between Zo-Zu, the Punisher and Searing Blaze. I'm leaning towards Zo-Zu for two reasons. First, I think he is too fragile. Second, Searing Blaze not only takes out a blocker, but also hits them with a lightning bolt. That effect seems so good for red that I think it is worth keeping. I'd love to hear other opinions on this though.
These last three cuts are kind of difficult. People have suggested Green Sun's Zenith, and I don't understand that. This seems like one of the best green cards to me. Green already has so many etb effects. Being able to search for the right card for one additional green mana is fantastic. Plus, as an added bonus, the card goes back in the library, which isn't irrelevant in a 40 card deck. Blastoderm has been suggested. I like it though. I would be interested in hearing the reasoning behind this. Jungle Lion and Wild Dogs have been named. Don't these cards help define Green aggro though? Isn't taking them out detrimental to the archetype?
I know Birthing Pod probably shouldn't be in the cube, but I like it for now. I like build-around me cards. If we find Pod to be really bad or it gets boring, then I'll cut it. This is the same approach I'm taking to Venser, the Sojourner over Grand Arbiter. Krosan Tusker is a card I've considered cutting, but I'm not entirely sure.
I like Mind Twist, but to each his own. It brings back fond memories (Turn 1: Swamp, Dark Ritual, Dark Ritual, Mana Vault, Mind Twist you for 6?).
I agree with cutting Ink-Eyes. I would probably cut Graveborn Muse before Bloodgift Demon, since the power and evasion are relevant. It's probably worth testing on a trial basis.
I think that Ring of Gix is considered to be better than Icy Manipulator since it comes down a turn earlier, but I'm not sure. It does suck up mana on the following turn as well. I don't have one so I run Icy Manipulator.
Time Spiral confuses me because I don't know what deck wants to play. Giving you opponent an fresh hand just seems bad to me.
So doesn't giving you a fresh hand seem good then? And having the spell cast for free, gives you the first crack at the fresh seven. Not to mention the times that the spell itself can generate card advantage when your hand is empty (or close to empty) and theirs is not. It's a really powerful spell.
You should just never cut Disenchant. It destroys so many things! If you and your players aren't maindecking this, I'm sorry, but you're doing it wrong. Cut Karmic Guide, Yosei, and Calciderm. Flickerwisp is pretty versatile and beats for 3 in the air.
Time Spiral is a monster. I consider it one of blue's top 20 for sure (probably more like top 10). Crystal Shard is really good too. Play it with Eternal Witness, Ghitu Slinger, or Mulldrifter and see how sick it is. I'd cut Sphinx of Jwar Isle (I think you are running too many big creatures in blue), but Jace, Memory Adept and Standstill are also options.
Sad to see Mind Twist go. I think it's plenty fun, but to each their own. I prefer Graveborn Muse to Bloodgift Demon by far, but mainly because it comes down a turn earlier and draws me at least 1 extra card. I'd actually cut Ink-Eyes because your black is pretty top heavy; then I'd cut Sorin Markov for Ob Nixilis.
Searing Blaze and Zo-Zu are fine cuts. I'm partial to the goblin, but others really like Blaze.
If you want green aggro to be good, you should keep Jungle Lion and Wild Dgos. You can cut them if you want to move away from that archetype, a move that is popular but with which I disagree. At 360, I don't think you have room for Green Sun's Zenith. It's too limiting. I'd cut that, Blastoderm, and--as much as I love it--Indrik Stomphowler. You've got a glut of 5-drops and that seems like the least impressive. I'd actually cut Birthing Pod, but you like it.
My further colorless cuts would be Lodestone Golem, Icy Manipulator, and maybe Sundering Titan.
I like the BR cards you are running now. Falkenrath Aristocrat could come in for Bit Blast, but I like Bit Blast. Both are really good.
So doesn't giving you a fresh hand seem good then? And having the spell cast for free, gives you the first crack at the fresh seven. Not to mention the times that the spell itself can generate card advantage when your hand is empty (or close to empty) and theirs is not. It's a really powerful spell.
That is a good point. I'll keep it in for now, and hopefully someone in our group manages to use it well enough to erase all doubt.

While it does depend on the deck, we don't always maindeck it. This is because out group is 4, so we only play with half the cube. Sometimes it's worth keeping in the sideboard if you don't know if the swords/jitte/other really good artifacts are in the pool. That being said, I agree that it is really good. I guess I was just looking around for other cuts.
I think right now I'll cut Karmic Guide and Calciderm. I do like Flickerwisp quite a bit. I guess the last cut is Yosei? He's just so good though.
PhantomLotus
If you want to keep Time Spiral, you could probably cut Willbender.
I actually really like Willbender. It's been very good so far, and I don't really see myself cutting it in the near future.
This last cut here is killing me. Sphinx of Jwar Isle having hexproof is just so relevant. This may be the cut, but it always does so well that I'm not sure. Jace, Memory Adept is also really good. I like that it either serves as a win condition or, at worst, extra life so the control deck can stabilize while the opponent has to attack Jace. Standstill is a card I didn't expect to be as good as it is. Once blue stabilizes, it's basically a 2 mana draw three.
Black:
PhantomLotus
I agree with cutting Ink-Eyes. I would probably cut Graveborn Muse before Bloodgift Demon, since the power and evasion are relevant. It's probably worth testing on a trial basis.

Ink-Eyes is definitely a card I've considered cutting. I think what gets me though is the regeneration. The rest of it is good, but that puts it over the top for me. I could be wrong, but this will take a bit more testing.
I think, for now, I'll run Bloodgift Demon. Since our group is only 4, that would, statistically, cut the zombie targets for graveborn muse down my 2 or 3. At that point, I think the two power and flying is better. That being said, this could easily switch. Or, Ink-Eyes may even come out for Graveborn Muse.
Red:
I'm cutting Zo-Zu. Done and done. I think red will have a few more cuts when M13 is released (Art lightning #2!), but that can wait for now.
Green:
Personally, I think Green Sun's Zenith is quite good. I don't really think I'll be cutting that soon.
After much though, I have decided to cut Birthing Pod. It's a hard cut because I like it a lot, but honestly, it really is just too weak. Such is life I suppose. Blastoderm is also getting cut.
I don't like this, but I am inclined to agree with Rantipole and PhantomLotus and cut Indrik Stomphowler. At first, I thought this wasn't even an option, but after combing through the list, it seems right. There are quite a few 5 drops and this is too top heavy. I am heavily considering cutting Viridian Shaman instead though. It is less mana, but it doesn't hit enchantments and is half the body of Stomphowler.
I am also planning to cut either Wild Dogs or Jungle Lion and "replace" it with Wild Nacatl. My roommate brought up the point that if I consider Noble Hierarch to be green and not Bant, why is Wild Nacatl not green but multi-colored? I'm not sure which of the two is weaker though.
Colorless:
By adding Wild Nacatl to green, this has one more spot open. I am, however, considering readding Erratic Portal. After reading about Crystal Shard, I think it's worth considering having a colorless option as well.
I like Phyrexian Revoker. It is basically Pithing Needle on legs, and I think that's pretty good.
I like Lodestone Golem in aggro decks as the top of the curve, but it is probably too weak. I think I'll cut it, Razormane Masticore, and Ring of Gix. This is assuming I readd Erratic Portal. I am also still debating Gemstone Mine. I like it in aggressive decks, but that's about it.

Nothing... for now.
Some current topics I am considering:
White looks really solid. I like Akroma's Vengeance over Austere Command, but I question if you need either in a 360 list.
I don't think Carnivorous Death-Parrot is that good unless you are really pushing blue tempo/aggro. I'd rather see Academy Ruins, Enclave Cryptologist, Morphling, or Aether Adept in here.
You have Jungle Lion listed as 2cc. I'm not a huge fan of Primal Command. You could use Pouncing Jaguar or Albino Troll for aggro or Natural Order for cheaty sickness.
Cheers,

A few things:
You misspelled Transcendent Master. Also I'd cut it unless it's a pet card. If he gets bolted after you've invested 7WW into him (e.g. while the sixth level up is on the stack), it just seems like such a blowout; also he's very mediocre before getting to level 6.
You misspelled Chainer's Edict, Strangleroot Geist, Tarmogoyf, Wheel of Fortune, and didn't write out Meloku the Clouded Mirror (I'm thinking of the newbies).
I prefer Shadowmage Infiltrator to Oona, Queen of Fae.
I agree with Rant re: including Mind Stone and maybe another mana rock or two. Also you seem to be running quite a bit of artifact hate in green. If you agree you might try cutting Nantuko Vigilante or Viridian Shaman for something more interesting like Somberwald Sage (ramp), Wolfir Avenger (combat trick), or Champion of Lambholdt (aggro).

She costs twice as much mana. I should certainly hope she'd be more resistant to removal than a 3-drop. But she's far worse in comparison to other 6-drops than Infiltrator is in comparison to other 3-drops.

@Rantipole:
B/R: Bituminous Blast/Falkenrath Aristocrat
G/W: Loam Lion/Sigarda, Host of Herons (since it looks like you're running G aggro)
G/U: Mystic Snake/Simic Sky Swallower
Happy cubing!

Shadowmage Infiltrator for sure.

First, the cards that I cut:
W: Austere Command, Transcendent Master, Kjeldoran Outpost
This leaves 3 more cuts.
U: Carnivorous Death-Parrot, Psionic Blast
This leaves 1 more cut.
R: Goblin Wardriver, Flame Slash
This leaves 1 cut
This last cut is between Zo-Zu, the Punisher and Searing Blaze. I'm leaning towards Zo-Zu for two reasons. First, I think he is too fragile. Second, Searing Blaze not only takes out a blocker, but also hits them with a lightning bolt. That effect seems so good for red that I think it is worth keeping. I'd love to hear other opinions on this though.
G: Mayor of Avabruck, Mire Boa, Chameleon Colossus, Hornet Queen, Worldly Tutor, Naturalize, Primal Command
This leaves 3 cuts.
Colorless: Ratchet Bomb, Spellskite, Masticore, Erratic Portal
This leaves 3 cuts.
I'm currently considering Ring of Gix/Icy Manipulator (Icy is better... right?) and Gemstone Mine.
Also, regarding multi-color, does anyone have suggestions for BR cards other than Bituminous Blast, Falkenrath Aristocrat, and Olivia Voldaren?
I would cut Yosei, Karmic Guide, and Flickerwisp. I feel that Disenchant is cube staple, and I have a soft spot for Calciderm.
Blue
I agree, cut Time Spiral.
Black
I like Mind Twist, but to each his own. It brings back fond memories (Turn 1: Swamp, Dark Ritual, Dark Ritual, Mana Vault, Mind Twist you for 6?).
I agree with cutting Ink-Eyes. I would probably cut Graveborn Muse before Bloodgift Demon, since the power and evasion are relevant. It's probably worth testing on a trial basis.
Red
Yep, cut Zo-Zu.
Green
I would consider any of the following as cuts:
Nantuko Vigilante
Phantom Centaur
Vengevine
Indrik Stomphowler
Thornling
Colorless
I would cut Phyrexian Revoker or Lodestone Golem before Masticore.
I think that Ring of Gix is considered to be better than Icy Manipulator since it comes down a turn earlier, but I'm not sure. It does suck up mana on the following turn as well. I don't have one so I run Icy Manipulator.
Guilds
Another BR card worth considering is Lavaclaw Reaches.
So doesn't giving you a fresh hand seem good then? And having the spell cast for free, gives you the first crack at the fresh seven. Not to mention the times that the spell itself can generate card advantage when your hand is empty (or close to empty) and theirs is not. It's a really powerful spell.

Cheers,

That is a good point. I'll keep it in for now, and hopefully someone in our group manages to use it well enough to erase all doubt.
White:
While it does depend on the deck, we don't always maindeck it. This is because out group is 4, so we only play with half the cube. Sometimes it's worth keeping in the sideboard if you don't know if the swords/jitte/other really good artifacts are in the pool. That being said, I agree that it is really good. I guess I was just looking around for other cuts.
I think right now I'll cut Karmic Guide and Calciderm. I do like Flickerwisp quite a bit. I guess the last cut is Yosei? He's just so good though.
Blue:
I'll keep Time Spiral and Crystal Shard in.
Black:
Me too man. I love that guy.
It's shroud. It would be a lot better if it were hexproof.
Because Hierarch is good if you're only playing green. Nacatl isn't.

Thanks, I always mix up shroud and hexproof. Even though Sphinx can't carry a sword, I still think it's a finisher that blue can rely on.
Also, could you explain what you meant by Noble Hierarch only being good in green as opposed to Nacatl? I don't quite follow.
