This deck plays a very simple strategy of trying to survive an opponent's initial creature assault by using ground creatures. After stabilizing, it tries to win by using flying snow creatures supported by a handful of enchantments. Some spells and creatures seem underpowered, why? It's because I plan to use the deck in playing against friends who are on a small budget or only have standard preconstructed decks, so Yetit Petit only has few strong cards like a single Frost Titan.
Defense:
Rimebound Dead - one mana creature that's useful as a blocker.
Phyrexian Ironfoot - another creature for defense purposes, 3 for a 3/4 is a good deal. And it can be untapped anytime as long as mana is available.
Rimewind Taskmage - not very good in blocking, but can prove useful in mid to late game when there's enough snow permanents for his ability.
Ice Cage - two mana for stopping an early creature.
Frozen Solid - costs one more, but better than Ice Cage because creatures can't escape easily from it.
Chill to the Bone - the deck's removal. Costs 4 mana, but can hit most creatures.
Ice Floe - can be used to stop a single dangerous non-flying creature for a long time.
Mouth of Ronom - direct damage to finish off a creature with or 4 less toughness.
Offense:
Blizzard Specter - the main attacker, it's ability to return opponent's creatures is valuable.
Frost Raptor - costs only 3 mana, and can protect itself from targetted removal.
Balduvian Frostwalker - probably one of the stronger cards in the deck. Can turn a snow land into a flying 2/2 creature, and the effect has no duration. It doesn't end at end of turn.
Balduvian Frostwaker is probably my favorite snow themed creature. You should try it as all your lands are snow. It can be powerful but not so much because if your friends run pyroclasm or any sweeper it's quite dangerous to use. Still, it's a fun card!
Thanks for suggestion. Makes threats, and goes with the deck's theme of flying creatures as finishers. I could go with animating just one land at a time anyway. Unfortunately, the deck cannot remove anymore lands. So the Shade would have to go.
-1 Chilling Shade +1 Balduvian Frostwalker
Don't worry much about Pyroclasm or sweepers. As I mentioned in intro, this deck would be used to fight mostly against precons, so there won't be much sweepers.
EDIT: I would also like opinions regarding the power level of the deck. Is it too strong for the recent precons today. Equipment should be removed? Or is the power level just fine?

Well, jitte is very frustrating to play against, as are swords. The moment you get them to stick around the battlefield you will crush your opponent. I'd remove them if you want to be fair.
Ok, the general opinion seems to be that the equipment are too strong.
Took them out of the main deck, and replaced with Gorgon's Flail. I want my small flyers to at least be able to trade with a larger flyer. Placed the strong equipment in the sideboard, and will only use them on game 2 if my opponent's deck has some very strong modifications added to it.
I like the Rimebound Dead idea, since the deck seriously lacks one mana creatures for defending. Thanks for suggesting it.
Well, I'm building this deck because two of my cousins and a facebook friend only have precons and Standard decks. Using my Zoo deck against them is quite unfair. Often have to make "intentional play mistakes" such as forgetting to attack or forgetting to cast some spells so their decks could win. At least with this underpowered deck, I could go all in and not feel guilty about it.

haha Agreed. Playing Zoo against precon probably isn't much fun for either parties.
Currently the final version of the deck.
The Gorgon's Flail are still too strong for some people in my casual playgroup, so I changed them to Spectral Flight.
A little update, the Scrying Sheets are amazing. At end of opponent's turn, use the sheets for a chance to take an extra snow card.
It's a fun draw engine, I'm considering to up the count to 3.
About Vexing Sphinx. The ability to "filter" away extra lands from my hand is good. But discarding away lands makes Rimefeather Owl (if I draw it) stay long in my hand..
And lastly, considering to add more Snow covered swamp to increase the chances of casting Rimebound Dead on turn 1. Often I have no black, or my black source is a marsh so Rimebound Dead gets cast on turn 2 instead of turn 1.
The Taskmage seems like it could replace the 2 Vexing Sphinx. Also gives the deck a 2 mana creature, at best he taps down large creatures and at worst he's another early blocker. Thanks for the suggestion, will test.
Mouth of Ronom's ability is decent, but I can't add it anymore because too many lands that produce only colorless mana result in me getting mana screwed. It's ronom or scrying sheets. Have to choose the sheets because the potential card draw is more helpful than 4 damage to a creature. The deck has plenty of other creature removal anyway.
Rime Transfusion does indeed look good. Thanks.
While this deck is intended to be powered down because it will be played mostly against precons and budget casual decks, being a little more in theme doesn't hurt. The transfusions can replace the Spectral Flights.
I appreciate the comment. Ordered one Ice Floe when I ordered Night's Whispers from SCG.
Ice Floe is 5th edition because I like the John Avon art.
As for Sword of Fire and Ice being too powerful.. it is indeed too powerful for the intended purpose of this ice deck. Well, I made it specifically for playing with cousins and friends who only have preconstructed decks - so it's using some underpowered cards on purpose. I got rid of the sideboard, simply because precons don't even have a sideboard.
Also now added the Mouth of Ronom previously suggested by other people who posted in this thread.
Thanks to the people who suggested it.
I definitely dig the theme. I've contemplated a snow/ice theme deck myself, and might actually give it a shot. Though power level would probably an issue against your cousins under-powered decks (I empathize with that, trust me!), it's almost blasphemy having all that ice and snow with no Frost Titan.
The suggestion is appreciated. Well, I think it could be done, since another purpose of the deck is to show new players that mtg is filled with interesting beings. I tend to tell beginners that mtg is pretty much like chess, except we "summon magical creatures" instead of having chess pieces. The flying creatures have a big one in the form of Rimefeather Owl, so it's probably just right that the ground creatures also have a big one to lead them.
Though 1 is probably the maximum number of Frost Titan that I will add, because it's a strong card. Removed a Rimewind Taskmage to make room for the giant.
Changes: -1 Rimewind Taskmage, -1 Frozen Solid, -3 Ponder, +1 Frost Titan, +1 Ice Cage, +3 Sleight of Hand
The deck takes it's name from the background music used in Ice Dungeon map in Ragnarok Online.
You might feel chilled a little when listening.

Frost Titan - strong card for the late game.
Rimefeather Owl - like the titan, this is also a strong card for the late game.
Rime Transfusion - an enchantment that fits nicely in a snow deck.
Card draw:
Scrying Sheets - most of the spells in the deck are snow, so this is useful.
Sleight of Hand - adds some card advantage to the deck.
Land:
Snow Covered Island
Snow Covered Swamps
Frost Marsh

4 Phyrexian Ironfoot

Edit: other than that testing will tell.
Heidar, Rimewind Master maybe? A couple other snow cards I like a fair bit: Mouth of Ronom is great removal, Rimebound Dead as an alternative to Wall of Frost for repeated blocking, Sunstone can actually shut down opposing aggro decks at a reasonably fair cost, Winter's Chill.

Drift of the Dead and Gangrenous Zombies are fun with snow lands, despite the Drift's nonaggressive nature.
