Bounce is a common answer to opponent's hate cards. I was recently bemoaning the fact that I have to wait until turn 3 to bounce an opponent's Thorn of Amethyst with Echoing Truth. So I wondered if there was a one-mana Disperse, and Steel Sabotage is the closest there is.
The only hate cards I can think of that SS doesn't deal where ET would with are Leyline of Sanctity and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben. However, SS has the benefit of countering Relics/Crypts/Canonists on the way in.
Thoughts?

Had semenulative upkeep before it was fashionable. Look what you forced me to do, Wizards! IT DIDN'T HAVE TO GO DOWN LIKE THIS!

Like I said, I can only go by my own experience, which is now 18 years. Kind of disheartening when you think you know something and you find out that you're a notch below a low grade moron.
Instead of bouncing artifacts, you can also just destroy them with Shattering Spree or the soon-to-be-coming Smelt.
I'd say it's mainly a meta call. If you keep seeing Canonists and Thorns, try Steel Sabotage/Shattering Spree. If you keep seeing Leylines and Thalias, try more generalized answers.
