Radiant's Dragoons is a fairly classic card for white control, but the years make it look less impressive. What do you guys think about its potential in cube?

Because he's the hero MTGS deserves, and the one it needs right now. So we'll global him. Because he can take it. Because he's not just our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. An expired rascal.

Agreed with Leelue. No way that card should have echo. Without the echo, I might be playing it in peasant, but I still think it'd be outclassed in rare cubes.
i definitely wouldn't play it even without the echo. compare to wall of reverence, a card i think is actually very good, but hard to fit in tight cubes. and generally people avoid it anyway because aggro needs the help more than control.
When I see Healing Salve, I'm often like "Oh girl, I wish I could turn every card into this." Thanks they removed the gain life part, otherwise this would have been broken.
I played this in my classic cube and it was surprisingly strong. But it was ultimately cut even from that environment, and there's no way it could make it in a regular cube. I like the card a lot, but it's just not there. Compare it to something like Obstinate Baloth.
It's not. It should see play in even the smallest/tightest cube lists.
I like the card a ton, and have never thought of cutting it at 450, but it looks like only about 50% of cubes run it, if I am reading the cube comparison thread correctly.

Ya. Plain and simply, the card isn't very good. I would not cube with it. I think both Teroh's Faithful and Staunch Defenders are better. And both of those cards are pretty bad ...and nowhere near good enough to cube.
If you want a good lifegain creature that's not lifelink, look to Lone Missionary. If that's not enough, look into Temple Acolyte. If that's not enough, try Perimiter Captain. If you still want more, there's Wall of Reverence. If you have an unhealthy attachment to lifegain creatures, try out Cathedral Sanctifier. I can't imagine a cube that uses rares of any size wanting one of those other creatures at all.
I've got temple acolyte and riftwatcher already. Lone missionary is objectively good enough but not quite what my group is looking for.
EDIT: the niche I'm looking at is a defensive life-gain dude with some staying power, but able to swing when needed. It's not a must-have, but it's something I'd like to devote a slot to if I find the right card.

This is one of those cards that I really wish was good enough to run, but sadly has been outclassed many times over by newer, more powerful creatures like Lone Missionary, Aven Riftwatcher and others mentioned already.

In old-style Cubes or Peasant Cubes, i.e. Cubes where creature damage is lower, 5 life is a lot. In these Cubes, the life swing can be pretty big and the 5 Toughness can be difficult to overcome.
More traditional Cubes however have access to stronger options like Obstinate Baloth or Loxodon Hierarch. Unless the Cube has a very (very) strong recursion theme, where Echo actually becomes an advantage, I don't think that the Dragoon is actually worth playing.

Would you rank it above or below Teroh's Faithful?
EDIT: I should note that green has about 3 great creatures that obv outcompete it (Loxodon Heirarch, Obstinate Baloth, Ravenous Baloth), but in white is there anything outcompetes it?

Baneslayer Angel? Exalted Angel? Battlegrace Angel? There are options for cards that do what you're looking for. That niche is already full.
