It should be noted that the original finder poster a picture of the card held up to a mirror.
Looks pretty real.
For reference, attached a Kaijudo card with the new template for copyrighting. -TK
I also added a picture of the card now signed for Bruce's awesomeness.
Since people can't read the thread, here is the newest Comic Promo with the exact same Copyright changes. This card is real. There is no question about it now.
It still looks pretty real. They could just have removed the 1993- portion, since it is redundant. Wizards has had a track record of cleaning up small details. This could pretty easily be one of them. I'm disappointed that the previous thread got Locked, because there really was no substantial evidence this was a fake.
On the note that the reminder text should be the same as the text for Cackling Counterpart: they probably left the word "target" out of the reminder specifically to make it castable without a token target. See: Proliferate.
I think what is most interesting about that card is that it's 19/~270...I know white usually comes first, but it's an R card at 19. Is that normal? Maybe there's a very small number of Monocolored Cards in this set, and a lot of multi color?

Well, the only set with the New Set Size and multicolour was Shards of Alara, which had Metallurgeon at 19. I don't think it's that far off, considering Ranger of Eos, the first R, was at 21. That said, Alara did have about 20 less cards than RtR will have, but w/e.

Good find! If this card could be proven as legit I would agree that it hints at multicolor cards. Otherwise it justs means this card is fake (actually it's the second hint for beeing fake).
One other thing. If it's a fake, how did he manage to get unspoiled art that expertly imitates the style of the chosen artist while staying true to the guild? That to me sounds real. Good find on the numbers as well... I'm definitely looking forward to more multicolored cards.
I just noticed something else that really makes it doubtful.... and its a weird quirk.
There is no LLC down in the copyright after WOTC.
Why would someone go into trouble to make a fake card so perfect like this, and a card that has no value, and miss such important features..? It seems awkward to me. I consider this card to be real.
True, that stuff about the reminder text and copyright lines is a big strike against the believability of this card. However, the art is clearly in Mark Zug's style, it fits the setting it's supposed to be from (check that Selesnya Signet-style shoulder pad), and it doesn't seem to be reused.
Until we find an explanation about how a faker could have gotten hold of a most likely authentic and unreleased piece of art to use for faking this card, I'm leaning towards this card being real. For what it's worth.
As for the card itself, I like it, if only for the possibility of getting a spell with one-word rules text this time (The fact that we didn't get a spell with just "Proliferate" was one of the few qualms I had with Scars of Mirrodin block).
Thou shalt not have others of the same Legendary before me Thou shalt not frame images with the modern card face Thou shalt not change rules in vain Remember the Reserved List to keep it holy Honor thy Slivers and the symmetry of their abilities Thou shalt not kill mana burn Thou shalt not sacrifice depth for accessibility Thou shalt not steal combat damage from the stack Thou shalt tell a story through thy cards All must be one

No idea, but people have done it before.
Maybe as a way to increase traffic to a site perhaps?
My gut says its a fake, just from nuances on the card.
For all I know, it may be real art used in RTR, but not on that card (ala Horrorcane, which was fake but had Killing Wave art) or it could be a real card that someone saw and remocked up before it was spoiled.
Along with the lack of 1993-2012 and LLC, when's the last time WOTC used the "To ~keyword~" to explain how an ability works? Actually, I can't remember an instance where the keyword is used again in the rules text, and certainly not in the way it's done on the card.
Evoke (To Evoke...)? Proliferate. (To Proliferate...)? Transmute (To Transmute...)? Even reading it without knowing how rules texts are formatted, it sounds clunky, redundant, and odd.

oh that's very true. While evoking, transmuting etc aren't action words, proliferate did just describe the exact action... hmm... It could be excused because this card has two sets of reminder text and you need to clarify which is which, but it does seem awkward... Also, the normal format would technically have Populate last. I guess that could be because it wants the populated guy to be indestructible too, but idk...

There's also something weird about the watermark. Other than foils, watermarks have a slight hint of shadowing, but I guess that can be changed anytime.
Well, they've changed the copyright info on cards many times before. The new frame copyright info has changed in the Modern era too. On older modern cards, it says Wizards of the Coast Inc. and since Lorwyn block it says Wizards of the Coast LLC.

Feeling exactly the same. But still, if the other thread got closed, why not this one, too?
Because it will look really awkward when this turns out to be a real card
In all seriousness though I have mixed feelings the mechanic seems cool and the card seems to have alot of hard work put into it but again its still to early for spoilers. Im pretty sure the First spoiler will be in FTV or atleast izzet vs golgari

Populate seems way too complex for common (clone effects are already rare, and this is more complicated), and it plays better with "single big token" than "bunch of saprolings" despite selesnya being more geared towards the latter
it could well be real, but I'm pretty disappointed with the design of the mechanic if it is
