From http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showp...28&postcount=4
(thanks cotoal!!) 3 new scans from a mexican magazine, some very interesting creatures! A new ball lightning-esque creature, and a creature you can play from your library!

Great find.
The translations seem to be correct.

The serpent seems very strong
Splashable Ball Lightning ;-) So for 2R you only get a 4/1 instead of 6/1 but if you have more mana in late game it can get bigger! The Wurm has an interesting ability, but still costs 7 mana. Even more if you pay for a search effect too... I like these cards! Btw: THX for the scan!! |

Panglacial = 2, so that works out Wurm = 3 Snake = 1, and that's the creaturetype of the Ohran Viper but Serpent = 8 (so there is yet another - blue - Elemental Serpent?) Last edited by urzassedatives : 06-28-2006 at 11:48 PM. |

Those are 3 decent cards right there. I'm very impressed with the possibilities of the Panglacial Wurm. Could be result in some fun new deckbuilding.

I like the creatures but the aura seems a little risque! 4cc creature grab is nice, but the hurt at the end doesn't make it better than just 2 more mana.
I like the wurm idea......if you are searching and just happen across this guy you can put into play.....nice!

Well, if you can't pay the upkeep for the Aura, just sac the creature for a Rusalka or Something. Seems playable to me.
The Wurm is fun. Sac my fetchland, WHAM! Nice Casual card. Is it just me or is Coldsnap spelling Fun Fatties all caps? Edit: Oh, and the Aura spells another cycle with the Owl-Keeper from the Spoiler. Cumulative Upkeep C or D.

I liked the wurm until I realized it didn't say "without paying its mana cost."
EDIT: So Seds edit my post while I was trying to remove the cards. In so doing my other part got lost. So here it is. I need to save judgement on the Whispers until we know if it's gain or lose life. The Serpent is meh to me. I guess it could be used in some sort of Neo-Sligh if one was possible. Last edited by qella46021 : 06-26-2006 at 01:43 PM. |

If the Aura is in the cycle with Jotun Owl-Keeper, the version where it has lifeGAIN as oppose to life loss might be more likely, as the Owl-Keeper also rewards you for paying its C.U. for a long time.

I acctually think that the Krovikan Whispers card missing word is "gain" instead of "lose".
That is because the Spanish word for "gain" es "ganas" (3 missing letters) while the word for "lose" is "pierdes" (6 missing letters!). There is not enough space at the begining of the card for 6 letters... So to me, the card reads as follow: Krakovian Whispers 3U - uncommon Enchantment - Aura Enchant creature Cumulative upkeep U or B You control enchanted creature When Krakovian Whispers is put in a graveyard from play, you gain 2 lives for each age counter on it |

![]() ![]() open you can play him from your library. However, I don't think it works well with green, as the most frequent library searching is land searching which is usually played in the early game. Although, in the late game land fetching turns into a tutor for this guy essentially. tutoring up 9/5 tramplers is always good, right?
