I haven't played this card in a while for cube. I remember it being really powerful in green decks, and with the enormous amount of creature tokens in cubes today I could see it really holding some weight.
I have recently experimented with pushing the token archetype pretty hard, and have been running this card for a few months. It has never been maindecked yet. I am going to keep it in for testing a while longer, but it certainly shouldn't make the cut in most cubes unless they are quite large.
Eldrazi Monument has the advantage over Overrun that it is colorless. That makes up for otherwise being a bit weaker. It accomplishes in two turns what Overrun does in a single turn - killing the opponent. Making the creatures indestructible makes sure that they survive for the second turn to actually finish their job. Monument does have a weakness that Overrun has not though: An instant speed artifact removal (either mid-combat or after you sacrifice a guy) can blow you out quite well.
I'm reviving this thread because with more people pushing red tokens it came to mind again. It's pseudo-Overrun on the turn it's cast, with built-in Wrath insurance.
