Voted for Kamotz and Blippy, with honorable mention to Talore.
Kamotz- Goddamn, I didn't know it was possible to achieve that level of depth with that broad a scope. Every week I try to find a reason not to vote for you. I'm bad at it, apparently.
Blippy- Classic Blippy. I'm not sure if this is a step up or down from Christmas Carols about feces.
Preve- Resonated well, just sorta got edged out. I absolutely adore the lines about veiny hands and infinitely trailing ampersands. Something about them draws me in, can't quite put my finger on it.
I voted for Talore, because it is the best poem this week - by far, I think. Really wanted to vote for Blippy second [it made me laugh] but the sound of the poem just bothered me [e.g. syllable count] and I couldn't really pick out a second favorite that was anywhere near Talore's anyways, so.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
my mouth is full of winsome lies -
and eyes are full of death besides
but luckily the soul is wise -
it sees beyond my blindness and
forced failure makes a better guise,
so as i come again alive,
it feels like life's a decent plan
I voted only for Shield. Nothing this week really caught my eye, but Kamotz has a great knack for channeling the Storyteller in his poetry. Reading Shield reminded me of reading old Welsh legends and I very much enjoyed that.
Here are the Poetry submissions for this week:
Threnody for the Past by Guilan
Necrophilia by Blippytheslug
fragility by Preve
First by Woe Sha
Have You Seen The Woods Off Cedar Lane? by Ilvaldi
Fleeting by Talore
Shield by Kamotz
Medicine Man by Dangerillustrated
Lefty by Zelderex
