Thrumming Stone just split my mind open.

I love Lovisa. Perfect for my Berserker deck. Very interesting translation from flavour into card. The return of Tribal cards (that weird Illusion mist thing as well) has me veeery excited.

Wilderness Elemental looks like it may have some actual uses in the current dual-laden Standard, but I'm a Casual player, so I could be very wrong.

Ooh, and I just noticed that beautiful coin-flip loving minotaur! Now that card looks like fun. Krark's Thumb anyone?

Nice batch of cards. The set's looking better and better. Very nice find.

Hydro you rock, although I still am largely dispapointed at Wizards blatant disregard for legacy and the only good card coming out of this set for us is the viper...

Nonentwined thoughts:
Counterbalance, yet another card that can potentially go crazy with the Top.
Cryoclasm is the hell of a hoser.
I'm a bit disappointed with Soul Spike. I just hoped the Black pitch spell would be something more cool/fun.
Yay, pumpknights. Jumping Zombies are fun.
Snow Artifact Oo
Strange Upkeeps :X
Good Lord, is it just me or are they trying to put a tribal theme into the set (replacing Homelands tribal theme)

Awesome hual Hydro. Much much Kudos. I'm loving Thrumming stone. I saw a card like this coming and i never though it would be as cheap as 5, although its still prety expensive. A little revamping of my old casual Relentless Rats deck

Hehehe. Wilderness Elemental looks interesting. A beautiful sideboard card against those decks that run almost nothing but nonbasic lands.
Notably theres a nice black knight there too.
The Pitch cards are pretty dissapointing as expected.

Tamanoa + Searing Meditation!
All you need then is tron!

Thrumming stone + Tinkerman for the win!!

A UR control deck could become TOTALLY INSANE!!!

Cantrip effects beware!! One thrumming stone grabs you your deck. Seething song could potentially pump you to the win if you turn over another one! Scry also works wonders, and reshuffle grave into library from blue becomes valid at once!

Brother Hydro is the man!

Nice to see new 'Orders' (although i'm always bugged by black getting weenies this good), and FINALLY a Soldier "Lord" (has Core Set Plant written all over it). The 1G 5/5 trampler is a GREAT design, and I can't help but smile at 'Cumulative Upkeep - Flip a coin'.

Thanks!

Counterbalance is just plain ******** in decks with library manipulation, and the red pitch spell has plenty of juicy applications.

The white Knight makes WW a definite possibility.

There are other neat cards in the pile, but I'm still busy drinking it all in.

A FEW?
You're certainly kidding, James bro!

The Stromgald Knight is certainly this pic:

In fact, one man in the "More pictures" thread guessed it almost 100% correctly.

Just like the other legends, Lovisa is flavorful to the bone.

Counterbalance is nicely crazy. Add a Top on top and smile.

Wilderness Elemental just pushes the definition of "Elemental" again a bit more to the absurd areas.

Shape of the Wiitigo is a nice homage to the old card, but nothing more.

And the Thrumming Stone? Johnny Alert!!!!

Many, many thanks, Hydro bro!

Thrumming Stone = Relentless Rats deck!

ZOMG...

Counterbalance has all sorts of secret uses that I can already see...

I think unfortunately the flow of information it provides is a deficit to you.

EDIT: and Sheltering Ancient is awesome and anyone who doesn't use it is a wuss.

I mean, why wouldn't you be able to win with a 5/5 TRAMPLING 2-drop? Your opponent's creatures, if there are even any *there* at that point, will get maybe 3 of these counters before it doesn't matter?

Plus it's got great interaction with Simic decks, particularly Cytoplast Manipulator.

Sheltering Ancient would be great with Fires. Didn't one of the Guildmages grant Haste? A 1.5 Pandemonium deck could use it.

I always thought there should be a 1R Stone Rain variant that just destroyed Plains and Islands. I can live with Cryoclasm.

The Crusaders are nice homages to the Orders of IA.

The Minotaur would make for a fun coin-flip deck.
