I use the Duels Of The Planeswalkers layout, though I'm right-handed and keep my deck and GY to the left. I dare you to ask me how tempting it is to hold flying creatures in a floating pattern over the table.

I like how much narrative is contained in the art for Skyline Predator. It has as much movement and action as can be crammed into the art box. I like that if the card isn't going be a constructed standout, if it at least has interesting.
Now, from the perspective of limited, I'm curious how the environment is shaping up here for this guy to be costed a whole extra mana above (to give a recent example) a card like spire monitor. He's better at survival than spire monitor, which might make him a better 2-fo-1, so that he can flash in and kill a hill giant, and then potentially survive to be a beater in the sky, or at least draw a removal card. That presumes there are some hill giants and grey ogres . The set isn't really shaping up to be that vanilla right now. Everyone is going to expect that bombs in the sky are still good--especially the ones that can eke out card advantage--but this is going to be going up against some rockstars. I look forward to flashing this in against lotleth troll players who've been sloppy and haven't left the regen mana open.
For six mana, this card is a steal! definitely worth constructedand limited play!
Just kidding. Five Mana would have been much more satisfying. This card is meh. That Izzet dragon -- hypersonic, I think -- will be moping the floors with this guy all day.
Ah, dangit, I was hoping that the awesome art cycle of Drakes would be at least good casual cards, but this is just limited fodder. I mean seriously, I thought Faerie Invaders was underwhelming (yeah, I thought a flashing flyer was underwhelming, sue me), but this... is just the same thing with a little more toughness and more mana. I just hope the rest of the drakes are at least slightly better. Or even just a bit more exciting.

Someday, I will own all of the dragons. All of them. 43/111, approximately 39% complete. Over a third done.
(calling it now; there will be a cycle of Legendary dual lands with Basic Land types in Theros block)

I dunno, the thousands more copies of Skyline might have a weight advantage.

Everyone knows that good luck and good game are such insincere terms that any man who does not connect his right hook with the offender's jaw on the very utterance of such a phrase is no man I would consider as such.
This card is very good in limited. It's a giant, hard to deal with flier, who will often two-for-one your overly-eager opponent. It might not look like it's worth the extra U over Faerie Invaders, but 4 toughness is huge, allowing it to survive combat and removal spells way better than the Invaders (who is already a first pick quality card in M13).

Unfortunately, the second blue mana requirement is hugely significant in a multicolor block, where manabases tend to be stretched.
well this seems like a worse fairy invaders. sure it's a solid flier, but it just feels to late game, especially in a set where multicolor can buy some really really neat stuff for 6 mana as opposed to another evasive dude.

Skyline Predator - the instant-speed flying titan.
Yeah, totally fine in Limited. That's all.

Once again, they give Drakes the shaft. When are we getting a Drake lord?

If so, then, no offense intended, you should work on your limited card evaluation skills.

Practice for Khans of Tarkir Limited:
Draft: (#1) (#2) (#3) (#4) (#5)
You may very well be correct, my limited knowledge is..well.. limited.
Never the less, I can't see myself ever playing it.
Really. This is hella solid unless the limited format is something crazy. I can't forsee this being a low priority pick.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
