How do people feel about main decking (or boarding) some number of this card?
Pros:
-kills Thalia for cheap
-kills tempo clocks (Delver, Clique)
-not useless during a storm turn (accounts for 4 damage with PIF and Grapeshot)
-corner case utility vs. Serra Ascendant, Eternal Witness shenanigans, etc.
Cons
-too much life loss can hurt
-dilutes the cantrip count (probably run over Ravings or Faithless)
-dilutes Ascension unless it's a 4x which seems bad
-doesn't kill non-Thalia hate bears unless Ascension is active (seems unlikely)
Any thoughts? It seems to me that just killing Thalia, Delver, and Clique makes it worthy of consideration. But maybe it should stay in the board. What do you think?

Thanks to Gabgabdevo for the awesome sig image!
I'm always looking for foil Madcap Skills and Ghitu Fire-Eater, [trade thread link forthcoming]
I'd rather play Lightning Bolt instead of Gut Shot maindeck. For 1 more mana and 2 less life, it deals 3 damage instead of 1. That's pretty significant damage to the head.
Besides, against Thalia and V. Clique decks, you have quite a bit of time to kill their stuff.
For another kill spell that does something for UR Storm maindecks, there's Izzet Charm. It's a bit expensive, but it's also counterspell back-up and another Looting.
MM is banned for obvious reasons. And Probe is ONLY acceptable b/c it doubles as a cantrip. IT replaces itself so no card dissadvantage and allows you to peek at what your going up against.
gut shot is just a ping spell that costs you more life than you can deal in damage. For no reason would I sac 2 life to do 1 damage almost under any circumstance unless It was in a delver deck with no access to red mana or better removal (like in the past standard). Otherwise we are shocking ourselves to much for not enough damage. Its not worth it since basically its to hate on hate bears and be a free spell to storm off of.
Its downsides weight to much to make it reasonable to use it.
