Super hot! Definitely a solid card in standard.

Gotta say, they've been doing a great job making playable cards for FNM promos without hurting the secondary market for rares and mythics.

Well, I think I see an incentive to try and get higher in the rankings. Would be nice to score these for the kiddo.

It's rare that I prefer the promo art, but I think I may like this better than the original.

Same here, I much prefer the promo art. The FNM Pillar art is literally a huge pillar of fire that's right in your face. The AVR art is like Moses looking at the burning bush off in the distance.

I prefer the AVR art personally. However, the art is not bad.

This is one I will not mind giving to Yomako...unlike my FNM Evolving Wilds.

Oh, the fridays I'll have to miss the drinking and the sleeping because of this card. Love it, entirely.

FNM promos are only ever common or uncommon.

And why exactly we would have care if we would pick up a playable rare as FNM reward sometime? I wouldntn mind once in a while getting a 5 dollar card as reward.. Not expecting snapcaster mage or something similar but i would like to get something valueable saving me money from buying it..

Nevertheless it is nice..Always FNM promos are nice.

Isn't that true of basically every common/uncommon burn spell ever though?

Pillar is a good choice, it's actually one of the harder commons to find simply due to demand.

1) FNM promos are for uncommon cards at best, never rares or mythics.
2) As far as value goes... you really haven't been paying attention, have you? Because if you had, you'd have noticed that they issued Dismember, Lingering Souls and Go For The Throat all within the past year.
